I have purchased several calls from San Diego Lexus and have been very happy with the SD Lexus’s excellent customer service! I worked with Pat Danyo on both of my car purchases, and he went above and beyond making sure that all my needs were met. I had some post lease issues that needed to be addressed by the dealerships management team, Craig Morman and David Wolfson. What was great was that they took ownership of the problem, and resolved it quickly. Also, I’ve dropped by Craig’s desk several times to discuss new cars that are coming out and performance ratings. I would definitely recommend this dealership if you are in the market for a new Lexus. The cars sell themselves, but it’s great to have a strong salesman assist with the purchasing process. Additionally, he took care of getting my car detailed and made sure I had a couple tanks of gas to enjoy my new car with.

Had a great experience here a few weeks ago. We were in the market for a pre-​owned Lexus Rx350 and needed a new car relatively quickly. Glenn took great care of us. He showed us several cars and gave us some sound advice in regards to buying pre-​owned… But we never felt any uncomfortable pressure to buy. When we were ready to make the deal he stayed several hours after closing (along with Jeanette in finance!) to make sure we were in our car ASAP. He then spent an hour the next day orienting us to our new car. We had a great experience with great customer service. We would highly recommend Lexus San Diego’s pre-​owned divison and Glenn in particular. This was our first time buying pre-​owned and we were in good hands. We’ll be back when it’s time for our next car and will definitely send our friends and family in his direction. Love the new ride — Thank you!

From the moment I pulled into their lot I was impressed. Every single person I dealt with went above and beyond to make sure I was informed and taken care of. I do not have one single complaint about anything. It took less than 10 minutes for me to drop my car off and be in the loaner car. Thank you for running such an effiecent service. ¹⁰⁄₁₀

Brought in certified RX for 35k mi. service. Car also making «vibration» noise. Provided with loaner (very nice). Diagnosed as cracked/​faulty exh. manifold and repaired under warr. Positive experience. Easy to make appt., drop off, pick up loaner. Brett called to advise of progress and diagnosis and then called when job complete. I may have paid a little more than having it serviced at Pep Boys etc. but the additional customer service and piece of mind along with a loaner vehicle certainly offsets the extra cost.

My overall experience was a frustrating experience as a first timer here. Before I took my car into the dealership I’ve noticed one of my tire was low on air so I filled it up with air at a local gas station before dropping my car off. I called in to make an appointment with the dealership and which I spoke with Kathy whom was not really there to help me out but eager to getting off the phone as if she was in a rush. I’ve originally purchased my car from another Lexus dealership and moved down to San Diego. I have purchased the Lexus Platinum Warranty so they did a great job getting me into a loaner. After paying for the inspections/​oil change, I’ve noticed I didn’t get the normal car wash that comes with maintenance. No worries, it was raining all week in San Diego so I didn’t mind it. After driving to San Jose to visit my relatives, I’ve noticed my air pressure was low again (same rear tire that I have aired before taking my trip north) so I immediately took my car over to a local shop and they told me I had nails in each of my tires. I would have appreciated it if Lexus told me this before I decided to make my trip up north not to mention, it was «illegally» low for my to drive with these tires in which they have failed to mention. My tire could have popped and that could have ended up really bad. All in all, I paid for an oil change plus whatever inspections that came along with it but in reality it was only an oil change. If I was expecting to get a horrible experience, I would have purchased a Ford or something.

Chris and chuck are good reps who you want to talk with. Other than these two, Do not deal with them. Especially manager and guy with limping leg. They shouldn’t be there. Literally they are chasing out customers.
Went there to buy Lexus but decided not to. Go other Lexus where you can be treated as regular customer. Not sure why upper management doesn’t do any with ill mannered employees there. Obviously they affect revenue of sales tremendously.

Chuck Anderson was very helpful, patient, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the product. I really appreciate his patience. I know I didn’t do much talking, but anyone who can put down a mountain of patience against my dad is a winner in our family book! Especially when it comes to buying a car.

These guys were to the point and gave me the best deal. I talked to Chris this morning over the phone and I’ve only been here for an hour and almost done with the process. I hate the car buying process and this has been a very easy and non-​frustrating process this time. Christian is a great sales person. He knew the car, had it cleaned be off wo came down to drive it and gave me competitive financing even though I was preapproved they USAA. They beat it. And I have excellent credit scores. Go see Christian. Really nice, knowledgable and great customer service. I haven’t bought a car in 10 years and went to 3 Lexus dealerships before I locked on this deal. I’m totally satisfied.

Well I guess one star is well deserved for this place. I understand that from my previous review management left a comment for me to contact them in regard to my experience. I wanted to wait until I go back for a second chance before giving any input to management. Today was the day. I went in to get my car appraised. What I got again was lack of customer service. The moment j walked in, no smile just a smirk and asked «what can I help u with?» Didn’t introduce himself, didn’t shake my hand. I asked if I can get my car appraised. He said typically they do not do that unless I was going to purchase another car from their lot. I said I am shopping and still deciding. He said ok come inside. We went in and sat at his desk. He then proceed to introduce himself with a major attitude. «Hi I’m David» «I’ll just pull up Kelly blue book» we told him multiple time what kind of car I currently have and what I want to get next. Yet he didn’t listen and just gave us a quote from Kelly blue book for a wrong car. We corrected him again and he didn’t look happy. Well he hasn’t look happy the entire time he helped us. The whole time, I feel like he didn’t want to help, be there, and look down on me.
Once he pulled up Kelly blue book price, he asked «so want to get a car today?» Are u serious? I would never buy a car from that dealership. Not with your lack of service and your major attitude. No thanks.
Enough said, will not go back. Be warn patrons… just drive further to Lexus Escondido for better service.

Nothing luxurious about the service and attitude I got here. Ive seen better service from Jeep, Mazda and Honda, hek, even the 7 – 11!
I am not one to write reviews especially negative ones unless I feel it is truly necessary. I was actually told to write a good review by my salesman. and I would have given it had he deserved it.
Here’s the scoop:
I am not really a huge fan of the Lexus brand, but I was intrigued by the «deals» that they have for the end of the month. My first drive through, I was barely greeted by someone who acted to good to give me their time. I gave it another shot and met with Pat who seemed to have a sincere attitude, however it came to pass that it was just his slimy sales approach since he has «been in the business for 34 years» (yes he made sure to remind me every 5 minutes). Let’s just say if that’s the case, then for 34 years he has been a disrespectful harassment and a bad reputation for the «lexus customer service». From the beginning, I was very upfront about my finance situation and what I needed to pay moving forward. I was not dying to buy a car, but wanted to explore options for a cheaper payment after my current lease. He said he understood and would take care of it. Now I am a realist, and I didn’t expect magic, nor did I demand it. I actually spent 4 hours waiting for him to go back and forth to give me numbers. Once I finally got my «numbers» I was expected to glorify him and his «deed» he did for me, however if I asked any other question, like what the actual car price was, how much he was giving me for my car, or anything else a normal person should ask in the process… I was literally shut down, told I wasn’t listening, and that «it didn’t matter». Let’s just say, I got terrible anxiety from his rudeness to the point I was just going to leave. I felt as though I was just a bother and his temper would fly off at any time. After 4 hours of nonsense, the night was setting in and I had to leave for dinner plans. I was going to go in the next day when a family emergency came up. so I contacted Pat to reschedule. After he blew up my phone 4 times in a day, I finally was able to return his call. I have never been treated so disrespectful and had such an attitude in this process, and I did not expect it from Lexus (who he claimed was a royalty service). I asked him more questions on options I had for payment, and he ridiculed everything I said, avoided the questions at all cost, and then again got a temper and shouted at me for asking them! He then had the nerve to tell me I was a waste of time– ha! Im sorry, but I was the one who had to waste a Saturday listening to his crap.
He clearly doesn’t have any concern for me as a customer and his ego is way out of hand. I honestly don’t care if the car was free, and actually, I was going to purchase the over priced Toyota I swore I never would. Pat’s poor attitude and out of line behavior was what stopped me. I have too much respect for myself to let someone walk on me like that. All I can say is listen to your gut when buying from anyone. I am not sure if everyone at this Lexus does business like that, I would hope society gets better service. Avoid Pat unless you want to be completely under minded, and made a fool of for buying a car with him! I am glad I saved my sanity and my wallet.

Let me go ahead and start by saying, I didn’t purchase A Lexus but I did purchase an Audi S7. It was traded in by my friend, couple of months before and I was in the market for one very recently. I end up purchasing the vehicle from Lexus of San Diego. I would like to say the transaction went smoothly. Couple of negotiations with some numbers n we made the deal. But the main reason they’re getting this five star review today, is because of The service director name JUSTIN. I had a slight issue with a few things on my car after taking delivery upon arriving in Las Vegas and they were the last to work on the car. After doing an diagnostic at the Audi dealership in Las Vegas. Justin took FULL responsibility and put his customer first and get the issue fixed immediately within one day. I am glad to deal with someone like him, he was very respectful, he cared about my safety and my wife and wanted to make us happy even though they lost a huge amount of money with the repair.
Thank you Justin. Keep up the great work man, if I’m ever in need of a lexus, I’ll definitely come by and also refer anyone that in need of repair or to buy a Lexus form u guys!

I just had an amazing car buying experience with Pat Danyo at Lexus!!! It couldn’t have been smoother and he was very kind to give me descriptions on three different cars before I made my choice. He was super fun to talk with and kept the whole process completely painless! He was not pushy at all but instead, very excited for me and really kind. That’s probably because he’s a fellow East Coaster :)
I’ve never said this before but I genuinely enjoyed this car sale. He really helped me out and worked within my budget and have me what I know to be an awesome deal, after much comparison. I am 100% happy with the service level here and couldn’t be more excited to drive off in my new car!!! If you’re interested in a new Lexus I would highly recommend coming here and seeing Pat, you won’t be sorry!

FINALLY, a car dealership that gets it right. We are so happy with the purchase of our 2015 CT200h from Lexus San Diego. This was hands-​down the most pleasant and efficient car-​buying experience I’ve ever had.
We were fortunate enough to have Dennis Gurel helping us with our purchase. He was professional and very upfront about the kind of deal he could offer. Dennis patiently answered all our questions with ease during our test drive. Of course, this is car-​buying, so there was some negotiation involved, but this was a much shorter and painless process than I ever expected.
The whole process, including checking the inventory, test drive, negotiation, document signing, and the on-​boarding with Delivery Specialist Cesar took about 2.5 hours.

Recently finalized a deal for a new car and the people at Lexus San Diego could not have made this process more easy and pain-​free! Flippin’ awesome service across the board. I had the pleasure of working with Ben and Joel, who are part of the Internet Sales team and they were amazing. Right away struck the deal that I asked for, no runaround, no typical salesman bull, the whole thing took like an hour to shake hands and walk out with a new Lexus. Props to Justin in Finance as well for being a pleasure to work with as we finalized all the paperwork. Wish a lot of of the big decisions in life could be this easy.
Work with Ben and Joel, they’ll hook you up and crack jokes along the way. Highly recommend.

I ordered some lower ball joints, left and right, for my IS300 and they were shipped out very quick. I think I received them in about 2 – 3 days after placing my order. When I finally got the time to install them (about 3 weeks later), I noticed that the left ball joint was a lot bigger/​beefier than the right and realized that they had sent me the wrong part.
So unfortunately, I was only able to install the right side but this past Monday, I called to exchange the part. John was extremely helpful and courteous. He apologized and sent me a call tag for me to ship the wrong part back to him. A day later, he called to confirm that he received it and informed me that he was in process of sending me the correct part.
5 stars for service. Mistakes happen… and also, house of lexus has the lowest prices for OEM lexus parts.
Side note: I called a local dealership the day I was installing the ball joint to see if they had the part in stock. They didn’t and plus their price was literally double the price I paid.

When you go in for a service visit, you usually drive up to the dealership service center, a random someone asks for your car keys, and pulls your car up. That random someone then calls your service representative; if you are lucky, that someone walks you into the coffee/​tea waiting room. Then you start feeling anxious about your baby and your baby’s health.
I really care about my car, Vienna, and never want anything to happen to her. I want to make sure she’s going to be taken care of; she’s my special and beautiful IS 250.
The thing is that only my service representative tells me Vienna is going to be okay and that does not make me feel any more confident about anything. After all, what does he know? He’s not working on my car — the car specialist is.
…and that is exactly why, I was happily surprised to meet my car specialist, Paul, on my last Lexus service visit. He took the time to know me and let me know that my car was going to be just fine. I believe Paul — he’s working on it — and I feel more at ease.
I recommend you work with Paul.
