Oh my G, I just had my hair cut today and the old woman who dragged me and asked me to sit down right away on her assigned salon chair was evil to me when I requested for the lady who used to cut my hair. She transferred me to another lady cutter (not the one I requested) in a rude manner. Wow, she surely got offended. Then while the lady is cutting my hair, I realized that they have been talking about me in Vietnamese. I knew it because they were laughing and the lady who’s cutting my hair was leading the talk and the rest are replying while glancing at me. These Vietnamese ladies have no ethics, manners and have bad attitude. I have been their client for a year now. But I have all the right to choose the cutter person whom I think is good. Would you even all believe that after trimming my hair, she did not style it nor even brush nor comb my hair. She just left my bangs hanging on my face (no exaggeration) and when I asked her if she’s gonna just let it that way without checking if the cut is equal or just styling a little bit to make it nice, she just said i have to add $ 7 to blow dry it or do more than anything than cut. I swear, she did not comb or use the brush after cutting my hair, she just left my hair hanging still slightly wet without even bothering to fix it. I will never ever come back to this disgusting place with rude people. They do evil if they happen not to like the customers. And they charged me far more than the usual price I pay to them before. May God bless them!

They do a great regular mens haircut. Cant beat the price and they are super friendly too.

I wouldn’t advise getting a hair cut here unless you just want a cheap one. But I’ve been going for eyebrow wax, gel mani and regular pedi — all of them I get for $ 45, which is a major steal. I like Hannah because she does a good job and she’s nice. I highly recommend them for wax/​mani/​pedi.

Paid $ 15 for a shitty trim. She didn’t even blow dry my hair or style it smh & their women’s haircuts are supposed to be $ 9. Pretty pissed off.

I always go here to get my eyebrown wax done by Hannah, she did a great job and take her time to make it looks perfect.

Best salon I can go to get my eyebrows clean ! I’ve tried a few places but had always left disappointed. I was really afraid to come here especially because of the appearance. I am so glad I did because the girls do such a great waxing service ! I’ve gotten my eyebrows done by 3 different ladies in the past year and they have all done a great job! I’d really recommend this place. Great service at a great price !

Haircut 1000 completed. Been going here for inexpensive haircuts since 2005. So… that is alot of visits. Although the business could use alot of improvements, my experiences have been just fine… and I will not use any other business, however more convenient the location may be. WHY? Because one of the ‘stylists’ there named ASHLEY does the most impressive ‘MENS’ haircut that I have ever experienced. Her work is ‘ALWAYS’ flawless and the quality of the haircut is impeccable. She maintains a level of care to my sometimes curly mess, that keeps me loyal to her place of business. Keep in mind that although ASHLEY has been available and keeping me looking more handsome for many years, she is only on duty Fridays and Saturdays. Her work is so consistently attentive to my needs, I would never consider changing ‘barbers’. I don’t think she knows how valuable she is to me as I rely on her to keep my average looking appearance, acceptable.

My dad and brother always get a hair cut here, so I decided to try it out. I, a woman, was nervous at first because it was only $ 15. But the hair stylist did a wonderful job with my long bangs and made my hair have life. I was very happy with her and will definitely be back. You can’t beat a cut for that price!

everyone is always so sweet when i come here. they seem to be open very early, and although i cannot comment on their hair services, their eyebrow waxing services are AMAZING!!! $ 7 for an eyebrow wax? umm yes please. cheap prices and they always do a great job — i even started getting compliments on my eyebrows after i started going here, which has never happened to me before. the ladies here take their time and are very precise. would definitely recommend this place to a friend :)

they cut my toe nails too short when i specified, NOT TOO SHORT PLEASE.
they did the pedicure extremely fast like 15 mins for $ 14. spa is $ 16. anyway.
it’s not worth it. i think if they did a better job and not rush it, its more worth it.
some people go for nail fills, i’m not sure but i guess they did a decent job in that.
DO NOT cut ur hair here, you should know when u look at the place they have.
i thought of trying the pedicure coz its cheaper than other places and i just wanna see how they do with it. which is what i expected. the end result is actually not that bad and thats why i give them a 3.

This place lost a long time customer. I’ve been going here for close to 10yrs. It’s close and cheap so even though it’s a hit and miss sometimes because of the convience and price it keeps me coming back but now I’m about fed up. They can never do a simple fade, it’s away, I repeat, always uneven! Especially the old old lady. Please I don’t want to be mean or put her down but please why is she still cutting hair? She’s the worst! It’s always uneven when u get her.
I hate to say it. Ashley is the only good one I can say but u dont always have the time to wait for her if she’s busy with someone else. Last week I ended up with the old old lady I should have just told her I’ll wait for someone else but I figure it’s a simple fade but hard could it be well I ended up leaving with uneven sides.
Its like the more u tell them to fix something the more annoyed they get and then the problem gets worst so u just end up having to just settle with what u have and leave. I hate to say this but I will not return anymore after all these years, it’s a shame because this place is so close to home and u can’t beat $ 7 but u don’t u want uneven fades either lol.

I absolutely LOVE this place for eyebrows and have been coming here exclusively for about 3 – 4 years. Kelly is AMAZING at eyebrows. I am a big believer in the idea that once someone does your eyebrows correctly, you go to them forever.
one of my eyebrows actually grows flat, like straight across but she still was able to give me an incredible arch! Without making my brows look too skinny or drawn on! She takes her time, a solid 15 – 20 mins but they look phenomenal afterwards. Eyebrows are very important and Kelly will make you look outstanding. And for only $ 7 dollars! Show me one salon or place in San Diego that can beat that. Not happening.
Go get your eyebrows done by Kelly. you will be changed! And love it.

My friend sent me here for a fade. A very simple fade. I walked out with the most zig-​zagged uneven thickness haircut you ever saw. I immediately shaved my head down to a 0 when I got home just to save myself some embarrasment. The next day, my friend said «oh yeah, don’t let the tall drunk looking guy do it.» … WTF? The guy really did look drunk and I thought I was in good hands. For the casual male, this place is an EPIC FAIL.

I got a pedi and mani from this place and I definitely do not recommend getting it done here. The lady ended up cutting me in a few places when she gave me a mani and the bleeding didn’t stop so she kept on putting all this weird stuff on it to get the bleeding to stop. She still painted my nails after and the blood pretty much bleed on my nails as well. I ended up going the the Rite Aid next door and getting some alcohol and neosporin to really clean up the wound she gave me and then putting something on it to let it heal. I was not happy at all. She also told me my toe nails were dry and even had me wear my shoes and I ended up messing those up too. In the end, it cost me 44 $ for some messed up nails and some bruises. Sigh.

If you want to look like an animé character ask for something cool, and watch ‘em get out the razor and go to work. If you don’t do that you will get a nice basic haircut at a inexpensive price.
You do have to be able to hold your own here, as they will argue with you if they don’t like what you want. You would think that’s good, as they will not do something they know will look bad, but sometimes it’s too much.
Example: The first time I went in I had hair half way down my back, and a picture of a really textured bob haircut I wanted.

Awesome Vietnamese Grandma: (says something in Vietnamese, girl from the back room comes out) Tell her she’s too tall for short hair.
Girl from the back room: You are too tall, You’re hair is good for layers.
Awesome Vietnamese Grandma: You’re too TALL.
Me: I really want my hair cut short.
Awesome Vietnamese Grandma: I cut your hair short, you need to get your eyebrows waxed.
Me: Ok, that’s fine.
Then, as the haircut went on she did this «Oh your hair is really cute like that!» «Your hair is cute short» thing.
Be warned.
If you can handle that level of good natured grandma-​ing this place is great. You can’t beat the price for the quality.

I am so glad that my girlfriend referred me to this place! They do mens hair cuts for $ 7 and it comes out GREAT every time. (Also my girl has thick, curly hair and they make hers look great too) And they are super nice there. They have at least 5 people working at all times, so the wait time is usually at a minimum.
Anybody who goes to supercuts is wasting time and money.
And you can go next door to get a donut and coffee when youre done.
