Linda Vista Community Park

This is a pretty nice park most of the time. VAVI has their Wed night softball on their field, with lights and a decent bathroom nearby. It’s usually clean, but recently it seems to be taking a government shutdown hit.
There is a big field area where a lot of people play soccer, a shed to hold equipment and a nice big open field for a picnic area. I’ve seen the park building bit haven’t been inside so I can’t speak to what it offers.
There is often enough parking along the side by the apartments, the street next to the park or in the private lot by the building. During a huge rally in the area to support a kid who was stabbed the week before it was impossible to park and cops were around to keep the peace killing the normally friendly vibe. Otherwise this place is a great park to visit and offers the necessary amenities to ensure a fun event!
