Lip Service Singing Telegrams

My expectations were exceeded when I contacted Lip Service the night before my husband’s birthday. Not many companies could pull together an amazing birthday surprise, personalized no less, in such a short time. And I didn’t make it easy~ I asked for a stormtrooper that would sing a personalized Metallica song (my husband’s fav band) and bring balloons. The stormtrooper was AWESOME, really nailed it. He had a great voice, great presence and the entire office loved it. And I was so happy that his birthday wasn’t going to go unnoticed. Moriah in the office responded to my emails so quickly, customer service like that seems difficult to find these days and is much appreciated.

Outstanding experience. My wife loved the surprise! And the anniversary party guests were talking about it all night. The communication with Moriah was clear. And Jordan performed wonderfully. I recommend this service highly!

My executive wanted to do something nice for one of our teams that has been working around the clock. I thought a singing telegram along with a big care package would be a great idea since the singing telegram would help make people laugh and lighten up the mood a bit.
The most important thing in a corporate job is being timely, as we schedule our executive’s time down to the minute. I communicated that to Moriah and she made sure our singer came out right on time.
Michael came as our lobster. He was so sweet!!! We had a bit of a hiccup so we didn’t start for 30 minutes after the scheduled start time, so we got to hang out and chat while we waited. He’s a great person with an amazing story. I felt instantly comfortable with him the second we met.
When it was showtime, he put on a great show. I requested a pop song to say thank you to the team. They did Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars, one of my favorite singers and switched all the words around to incorporate our company and team names.
I loved it. I would use them again. Totally made people smile. =) Well worth the $.

Simply put, this is an awesome service. Moriah was unbelievably helpful through the whole process, even for a singing telegram neophyte like me who had no idea what to expect or ask for.
My telegram was for a birthday party for a friend and honestly she appreciated it more than if I had spent the same money on a gift on her list. Go for it already!

Just had the Banana lady over for our party and she was fabulous. I highly recommend this company. They came up with a great speech and song for our friend. Loved it!

With only one day notice, the lobster put together a personalized song that was HILARIOUS. The company was super attentive and nice. I highly recommend the lobster, as he was super funny, had a great voice and was very nice. He showed up at the bar and had the 50 guests thrilled!

LAST MINUTE WONDER!!! I don’t suggest you wait until 11 AM the day of the event like I did… but Moriah came through with crazy flying colors!!! We asked for someone to sing «For All the Girls I’ve Loved Before» to our bachelor… and the drag-​dressed singer was fabulous, even incorporating custom lyrics we sent at– get this– 5:00 for the performance at 7:30! CRAZY GREAT SERVICE!!! Thank you, Moriah!!! I’d give ten stars if I could!

I photographed an event where a Lip Service performer came as Elsa. She was so great with the kids and sang «Let it Go» beautifully. What a voice!!! She could answer all the questions that the kids threw at her (and believe me, they had a lot!). It was clear that the actress really liked kids. I would totally recommend Lip Service for either a telegram or a party (they had her for a ½ hour but they also do 1 hour). They were easy to work with, and made the event a ton of fun! Highly recommend!

I was looking for something different to top my other Valentine’s Day «shenanigans» for my husband and Lip Service was the perfect match. Moriah was very accommodating and helpful through the whole process, this was the first time I had arranged for a singing telegram.

From the first interaction to the last, I felt that they truly wanted to deliver an over the top experience. And they did. Moriah is incredibly attentive and responsive, answering all questions within minutes. They were able to accommodate us and send someone even though it was very short notice. They even customized the song to deliver a personalized message to our friend.
The singing lobster arrived on time, gave an awesome performance and stuck around for us to take pictures. Everyone was blown away by how much fun this was and it is by far one of the best surprises. Thank you for all your help!

What a great surprise for my friend’s 40^th Bday! I sent an Elvis singing telegram to her office and everyone loved it! The birthday girl couldn’t be more surprised, excited, and «almost peed in my pants!» I was really nervous as I was sending this telegram from Houston and wouldn’t be there to witness it myself so my anxiety was getting to me. Moriah was great to work with and replied to my text messages quickly on the day of the telegram! I am SO glad I found this company and they are professional, great to work with, reasonably priced, and quick to respond! THANK YOU AGAIN Moriah and Lip Service for making my friend’s 40^th a memorable one! You guys rock!

I cannot rave enough about Kūrt’s wonderful attitude about doing a fantastic song that my friends sent to me when they wanted me to know that I was missed at an event. Kūrt was a lobster — what a perfect get up! And he came to my house, sang brilliantly, did a little jig and was on his way. Kūrt was so fantastic, that I had him come again while one of my friends was in town and could film it! I cannot say enough great things about this service. I will definitely use them for someone that needs to be sung to — and who doesn’t?!? Moriah was excellent coordinating the service, too. Top-​notch job!

I was wanting to surprise my mother for her 75^th birthday and I found Lip Service online as I live in Texas. Moriah was very helpful in getting everything set up and the performer they sent did a fantastic job as Elvis. My mom was surprised and thrilled with the gift. The telegram definitely made it a memorable birthday for her. Thanks for making it special!

So pleased with the level of talent and professionalism of Lip Service. I ordered a gram from NYC on behalf of myself & another bridesmaid to be sent to an engagement party in Point Loma since we could not be present. We were very specific in our direction and not only did the singer do everything we requested, he exceeded our expectations and gave a memorable performance for all. Would highly recommend this!

These folks are great! I sent a singing lobster to my friend for her birthday and she loved it! I booked last minute but they were able to accommodate me just fine (probably not always the case on busier holidays but give it a shot). Friend’s coworker posted a video of the whole thing and I was very pleased with how it all went. They were on top of communication and billing with me and everything was handled and set up in less than an hour.
Also, remember to tip your performer! You can include it with the cost or do it separate.

I used these guys back in 2009 for a Mother’s Day singing telegram, and it could not have gone any better. My sister and I requested a good looking guy in a tux for my mom, and we wanted him to sing Stevie Wonder’s «I Just Called To Say I Love You» while changing some of the lyrics to get a laugh. One of my mom’s co-​workers took video, and the guy delivered on everything we asked for. Still makes me smile to watch back this video.

Last minute request for a Happy Birthday singing telegram for my wife… Lip Service was responsive, gave me a lot of options and most importantly, the singing Elvis that showed up was AWESOME!
