SO… As I was on my way to work my car felt like it was going to let it’s engine go to leave me to peddle Bed Rock style all the way to my first appointment in Chula Vista (coming from Encinitas, my feet would have been hurting!). Of course, I turn around, go home, and cry. After I got myself together, I called 5 different Mobile Mechanics, and they were all busy. I finally called Lito’s number and was saved.
He was here in 30 minutes, two guys went right to work on my car, took me to buy the parts, and even got me the cheapest parts possible (spark plugs for $ 19.99!!! no. $ 7.50!!!). Needless to say, I spent the day comfortably in my apartment while these guys worked on my car. It turned out I needed a new piece of plastic for some pump or whatever, and he calls the dealership, goes to get it, and puts it in (in 30 minutes. really. it was awesome).
My is really on it’s last legs, but they fixed it up for $ 175, (4 hours of work, plugs, hoses, full work up.) yes, I’m serious. Two guys will come and save you, save you money, and so much time because they’ll go to your home, office, and were the only ones to ask me over the phone if I were on the side of the freeway or not.
