Tracking

Tracking at Magnatron is a pleasurable experience that allows you to foster your creativity. Our Protools HD rig allows for 192 simultaneous tracks and 24 simultaneous inputs, allowing us to cover bands of all sizes.

Mixing

Magnatron provides the ultimate mixing environment with our acoustically treated rooms, top notch studio monitors and newest plugins and effects. The B Room is set up as «plug n’ play», so producers can quickly set up their mixing sessions in a quality environment.

Editing

Need to get those vocal takes aligned? Or that bass line pumping in perfect time with the kick drum? Let us do the dirty work and edit your tracks for the ultimate tight sound. Our staff has done editing for major labels and artists.

Magnatron Studios also is capable of providing a wide array of equipment and services relevant to every bands needs. Besides having a fully loaded recording studio with all the up to date technology, including ProTools, Ableton, and 24 channel mixing board, Magnatron Studios also features two isolated practice studios. Both practice are equipped with enough amplification to run their own respective music venues. Each room including the recording studios comes with a full drum set so that practice is not consumed by pesky set up but instead is replaced by an efficient band practice. What’s that in the corner? You ask? Don’t fear it, it is just the Personus StudioLive 16.4.2 mixer that comes standard in all of our practice studios.

With it’s grand opening in 2014 Magnatron Studios is proud to part of San Diego’s Music world knowing that it provides the top of the line equipment to make your band practice, recording, and mixes be the very best they could be.

Manager

With over 20 years of live sound and touring experience Rodney Elliot is more than qualified to oversee your bands practice or recording time at Magnatron Studios. Besides being over qualified for his position Rodney has intricate knowledge over several instruments including Drums and Guitar not to mention the best ways to mic up your amp, piano and even your harp (only because Magnatron Studios has one for you to use). Don’t be afraid to ask Rodney any questions you have as a smile never leaves his face.
