History

Established in 1999.

Always specializing in furniture logistics, prior to incorporating in 2003, I started Mahogany Run Delivery with a Ford pickup truck doing single item deliveries for Newport Ave Antiques, Ocean Beach antiques, Cassidy West, Karen’s Consignment & local interior designers like Kathy King. Punctuality and treating our client’s furniture as if it was our own was a principal concept we always put forefront in our business model. I currently function as lead installer & President with Mahlon Tillotson our Opps Man. a veteran in the freight & delivery field.

Mahogany Run now serves hundreds of boutique stores, Interiors designers & large firms, major franchise stores and manufacturers in Southern Cal. The major lifting is done by an excellent list of proven outside venders which we can call on anytime.

Business Owner

Growing up on a ranch, farm equipment, trucks and machinery were always exciting for me. I was operating heavy machinery for my father at a young age. The aspect of preventative maintenance was taught early on and we do all of our maintenance in house. As far as cargo furniture delivery and packing goes… I am really good at tetras. Packing and loading things efficiently comes easy to me. Imagining how things move in transport and how each and every item we move relates or affects the other like a bucket of glass if you turn one piece it reflects the light throughout the entire bucket. I see how things fit together and surround myself with a great staff that has the same mentality and vision.

I currently serve on the board of directors of two local non-​profit drug and Alcohol treament centers, Stepping Stone of SD, and Pemarro House. I believe in giving back to my community and being of service to others.
