Dude… Holly is awesome! She was the fastest I’ve ever gotten them done & she didn’t seem rushed like most places. It’s been over 2 weeks, my nails haven’t lifted, and I’m going back today. She does an EXCELLENT coffin shaped nail. I recommend Holly! (:

I’ve been seeing Jenny for about a year. She’s sweet and funny, most of all does a good job on my nails. I love how fast she is. Parking isnt hard for me to find.

Super Amazing Salon! Even though it does get packed, that’s just because their the best! I always get my hair, nails, and eyebrows done here and the service is amazing. Ask for David! He is the best

I only gave them one star because no stars is not an option. This is hands-​down the worst nail salon ever! I was there on Saturday and had them do a French manicure with the gel overlay on my natural nails. When I first sat in the chair I said that I wanted shellac. They gave me the gel overlay and as soon as I left I noticed that they had Left gel on my skin. Well after going home and washing my hands I noticed that the Gel lifted from my skin. A few hours later I realize that not only was it gel lifting from my skin it was lifting from my nails as well!
Not to mention that the line for my French manicure with crooked on multiple fingers.
I would never, ever, ever refer anyone to this nail shop. They need to close the doors and shut up shop ASAP!

They fucked up on my nail… Polish came off in least than 5 hours. Broke in 3 days… I am never goin back to them

i do like this salon, Amy is really good but she is the ONLY one in the shop that knows how to do gel nails. Amy was out for about a month sick. I reluctantly let some other chick do my nails and the polish was peeling off a week later. when inconveniently went back they said i should have come back the same day… well, i have a job and responsibilities hence why im able to get a mani/​pedi and my eyebrows done biweekly. the next time i went a lady made me pay again but she gave me a small discount. well… they werent much better the next time which is why i now go to diva nails.

Uh oh. Turns out my shellac manicure was $ 12 for a reason. The gel started lifting after just a couple days, and I had to completely remove it after 9 days. Definitely too good to be true.

Very friendly service but I would never come back because they cannot figure out the right pricing I ask one manicurist much was my total before I started and then by the time I was done it was a different higher price which I thought was ridiculous. Also I’ve been doing gel manicure for awhile but this place does not know how to do a flower design and then as an excuse for them doing bad design they said the with gel nails you can’t do designs. Again I well NEVER come back!!! Oh and card charges are 2 dollars not 1 just saw that on another girls reviews.

They charge a fee of $ 1 if you want to pay by credit card. Be prepared to be asked for any upgrades from the traditional pedicure or manicure service. If you opt for the spa pedicure ensure that you ask how much to avoid sticker shock. Bring cash if you don’t want to pay the surcharge for using a credit card for payment.

I took a chance, finding this shop off of Unilocal,and LUCKED OUT. The reviews were right! I had Amy, she was very sweet and attentive to what I wanted. I feel like I didn’t even need to watch her as she was shaping my nails. She understood exactly what I wanted and finished in a very short time. I haven’t tried there pedicures yet, although the chairs did look nice. Something I’m looking forward to doing next time. I do know one thing though, I’ve found my new nail lady!!! :)

My mom has been coming to this nail salon for over 15 years and I love how the nail techs Always greet her by name no matter how long it’s been since she visited! First of all they do a decent job at a great price. I don’t prefer to get pedis here just because its done with one of those at home foot spas but they do a fabulous job with nails. It’s a little hole in the wall but the service is great!

Today is the second time I tried out this beauty salon. My sister always goes to this spot because its very close to where we live so I decided to try it out again. My first visit which was a pedicure a few weeks ago was quick and half ass, couldn’t really complain because i was in a rush anyways. This morning I walked in (smelled bad), just for a MANICURE that I had to repeat about 10 times in between them offering for me to get every service on their list. Finally they seated me and I started to observe everything, from the dirty floors to messy work stations. By this time that’s when I started debating if I should go through with my service or just leave, i decided to stay. The woman doing my nails (nice, young, sweet) didn’t practice cleanliness. She decided to try and use the same cotton ball that she just used on her nails to take off HER nail polish residue on ME! She then poured acetone in a little cup to clean up my nails and skin, after doing so she then decided to pour whatever was left back into the acetone bottle! Gross! The bowl she had me soaking my nails in also looked like there was residue around the inside! When it was time for the massage she squirted the bottle of lotion along my arms that looked either watered down, old or its been sitting there for a long time, the way ketchup bottle pours out sometimes with this watery substance before it comes out? That’s exactly what happened. I went to cosmetology school so it’s easier for me to spot out these things that we got nailed for. I suggest that all of you should research a little on how to stay safe in any salon, so you can make sure they are protecting you. A lot of these horror stories could be avoided if salons like these weren’t so lazy or penny pinchers! Let me add, one dollar charge for debit use. Meh! The manicure was cheap! i guess you get what you paid for… cheap service. I’ll continue making my drive back to North Park for a nice and clean place, to bad I can’t just walk across the street.

After going to the same nail lady for half my life I took my chances AGAIN after my near death experience at Happy Nails. My daughter referred me to this nail shop. The location isn’t the safest, actually sorta scary for me but I’m sorta a wimp. Anyways, I phoned ahead and made an appointment. I waited about twenty minutes past my appointment time. The place was very busy and about five ladies working. Cindy did my nails and she did an amazing job. She removed my previous nails, glitter French tips, and hand painted beautiful flowers. It’s been two weeks and not one nail has even started to lift. This is amazing, I type all day, wash dishes, and am very hard on my nails. I easily will go three weeks before I get a fill. Total cost $ 32. Fills with glitter tips are $ 15. Mornings are the best time to go, a ton of walk ins and I will say it is not the cleanest lookin place. Regardless I’m happy with my nails. :)

I really like this nail salon! I was referred from a friend at school and she said that this place was great for custom nails at a GREAT cost. I am from RANCHO Bernardo and I drove my ass ALL THE WAY DOWN to El Cajon Blvd to see what this place is all about. So when I got there the ladies were SUPER nice! Tina did my pedicure and she took her time to make sure my cuticles were cut and clean. She tried to upsale me but I wouldn’t budge. Next, Cindy did my acrylics! She did awesome. She did a stiletto nail style (pointy nail) which came out great. Although she for sure for sure tried to up sale me a lot but I loved her! Then Amy did my eyelash extensions & eyebrow wax! She is so cute and sweet and she really does ask what you want and suggest certain nail design which came our great! All in all I love this place and is so worth the drive!

Catch me here every two weeks, it drives me crazy when my nails grows, and my brows are out of control! My number one person AMY! She does a fantastic job, she listens to what you want and tells you what she thinks! The day I leave Amy is the day I no longer live in SD. I drive from San ysidro to El cajon, and let me tell you it’s worth the drive !!! Mai’s salon is a must !

Lynn is awesome, she’s my fave! The other people there are pretty good too. But Lynn does the best nails. I like this salon because the wait isn’t that long, the prices are fantastic and they offer a variety of services. I’m there every 3 weeks =)
