I set up an appointment for yard waste removal 7 days in advance at 10 am. A week later on the scheduled day, I get a call from them at 9:55 am stating that their truck is missing a park and they can’t make the appointment. They asked me if I’d like to reschedule a week later and I declined. Who knows if something similar won’t come up again and I get a call 5 minutes before like this time. I took time off work to meet them at the scheduled 10 am time we agreed upon. This hauling service could have at least told me about the missing part days before so I could rearrange my schedule. Having the truck break down on the road I can understand. Not having your equipment checked and calling 5 minutes before the appointment is very unprofessional.
+1 star for the person on the phone being knowledgable and polite when setting up the appointment.

Absolutely fantastic company with a keen eye for detail. They are punctual, communicate well and are thorough. Called to tell us the time they would be arriving and were in and out as quick as they could so as not to disrupt our daily schedule while still removing every inch of our shrubbery and cardboard pile.
Can’t say enough good things about their service and quality of workers. Thank you!
* Took a picture of what I needed removed, uploaded it to their website and got a quote based on that. Very economical compared to other haulers and having done this once before with another company, much better results from Manos. Great company!

These guys mean business. A humungous amount of dirt and stones were magically removed from my yard. Unusually punctual and communicative. They made the extra effort to sort the re-​usable dirt from the other debris so that it could be recycled. Cut down on the bottom line, and I was very happy to be saving the landfill from more waste. Mark and Pete are super nice guys, hardworking, and Pete is pretty sexy. I wish I had more dirt!

We needed to move 30 cubic yards of dirt from our backyard. Definitely not an easy task to begin with as it was also up a hill and behind a wall. I called Pete and he came by to take a look. Not only did he and his crew get the the job done, they did it quickly and made it look like they were never there, Not an easy task. Oh, and then he came back a couple of weeks later and picked up some additional dirt and debris gratis. Thanks Pete! I would highly recommend Manos Hauling. Pete, if you are reading this please give me a call. We found your other lowboy cover hiding in our garage.

Polite. Professional. Prompt. Convenient. Strong guy with a helper gave a fair quote over phone when I sent text with photos of backyard items for removal (super heavy concrete patio table & benches), landscape clippings, old potted plants, plastic chairs, etc… If you don’t have a truck or the time or the muscles to hit the dump yourself… call Manos.

Fast turnaround after I called. Was in a shortened time line and needed someone asap. He came out and gave me a very affordable price and came to do a half acre of work. Large scale mulch and yard waste, almost 8 tons total. Pete came out with another man on time and worked all day. He brought a large wildcat and a 10 CU ft dumpster. The work was beyond my already high expectations, he was very personable and easy to talk to. BIG BONUS, HE TAKE CREDIT CARD! The renovation sapped my cash flow and this was a major factor in our happiness with his business. His work was impeccable with no surprises and no rework. He even followed up and offered to come back if necessary. I highly recommend him for any removal needs, 10⁄10 would use again. I can’t stress enough how simple, easy, and unimitating my whole experience was. And the price was very reasonable!

Pete hauled away a very big pile of cinder blocks and dismantled and hauled a large planter box. He did a great job. Because of the previous Unilocal reviews, I decided to wait until he was available to come out: took over a week due to a last-​minute tire blowout and scheduling conflicts. I was leery at first whether I had made the right choice, as so many people are not honest, but was glad I waited. He did a great job, and I even paid him a bit extra because his quoted price was so fair. I recommend Pete and will call him again if we need similar services!

Pete and his team are Awesome !
Needed some Concrete block, bricks, and dirt hauled away from the front yard. Was on a tight schedule.
Called Pete on Monday afternoon, he gave me a rough estimate over the phone and scheduled to swing by the next morning for a formal estimate.
He arrived and gave me a fair estimate and I decided to proceed, but needed it complete no later than Saturday.
Pete delivered wonderfully — he completed the job on Friday and went above and beyond, not only removed the agreed upon items, but also removed a few extra (that we had trouble removing manually) and left the whole area very clean.
Overall, super happy with the experience and results. Strongly recommend Pete and the team and Mano’s Hauling.

I can only echo what other reviewers have said. I called Pete about removing a wall microwave and electric oven from our kitchen and within an hour it was gone! He arrived when he said he would and carried the oven directly from the wall to his truck without a dolly! Herculean strength and a great attitude combined!
I wish I had called Manos long ago for all the times we’ve done work on the house. I will certainly send him our business in the future!

I hired Pete Manos to remove a large amount of concrete and brick that I demolished in the back yard. The concrete has to be hauled out by hand.
Pete is punctual, he actively searched different recycling centers to save me money, and by the time the work was done the final price was well within the initial estimate.
I would highly recommend Manos Hauling to others and I will be using Manos Hauling again in the future.

We had a couple heavy things in our patio piling up that we needed to have hauled away. I called Manos and they returned my call promptly. They told me they could come in an hour, and they were here on time and gone within 10 minutes! It was amazing how quick they got everything. We spent about $ 100 for the job and it was definitely worth it since my husband has a bad back… the city dump would have charged us at least half of that price anyways! Thanks for being so quick and efficient, Manos! Will recommend and use again if we need you! :)

I had a random collection of materials that needed to go including palm trees, broken concrete and other stuff. Pete came out within a couple hours of my initial call, took a look at my stuff and gave me an estimate for the work.
On the day of the job, Pete and Brian arrived ahead of schedule and got right to work. Everything was separated into refuse vs. re-​use then taken away within a couple hours. They even took some stuff that wasn’t included in the original estimate for no additional charge. The price was very fair for the work, Pete is friendly and easy to work with, they came early and got the work done with absolutely no hassle. In fact, they came in under the quoted price.

I hired Manos Hauling based on an acquaintance’s recommendation and I’m very pleased with their service! The owner, Pete, was very accommodating for our unique requirement of meeting him in Mt. Laguna to empty a structure and then drive these personal effects back to a residence in San Diego. He was on time (actually a few minutes early – that is my preference!), worked very quickly, friendly and professional. Called them up at 5 pm and they were at my house by 7 pm! I need someone to come out quick because we set out our trash for waste management to come out and they called me to let me know they were not going to pick it up after all. I called around and Mano’s Hauling were the only ones willing to come out on such short notice. The price for coming out was a bit high but worth it for such short notice especially since I live in Alpine. I would definitely use them again.
