History

Established in 2008.

After years in the law firm environment, Ms. Marquez-​Carrasquillo decided to do it on her own and establish an accessible environment for those that could visit her office and those who cannot. Most of her immigration clients are web-​based or telephonic in an attempt to cater to the hectic work schedules of her clients.

Business Owner

Attorney Lourna M. Márquez-​Carrasquillo obtained a Bachelor in Arts, Psychology concentration, from the University of Puerto Rico (Cum Laude). She then obtained her Juris Doctor in 2002 from University of Puerto Rico School of Law (ABA credited) and was licensed to practice and litigate in the local and federal courts of Puerto Rico as well as the First Circuit of Appeals. The attorney is a mediator certified by the Bureau of Alternate Dispute Resolutions of Puerto Rico.

After many years of legal experience, the attorney decided to pursue a Masters in International Law and obtained the LLM degree at the University of San Diego School of Law. The attorney has participated in many immigration clinics and endeavors and has formal training as well as experience in many areas of immigration law.

She is passionate about immigration law and mediation and has made those her principal practice in Southern California.
