Dr. Emily M.

Business Owner

Emily has been a chiropractic patient all her life. When she was born her parents understood the importance of being checked regularly by a chiropractor and she continued to see them through every stage of development particularly her teenage years when she was very active in sports. Emily saw the wonders of chiropractic firsthand and knew it was the profession for her. She attended chiropractic school at Life University where she quickly became involved in many organizations going on to teach and lead several of them. She graduated with honors and several awards. Emily’s love for the ocean and California brought her to the beautiful city of San Diego. She opened a practice in Pacific beach and looks forward to growing roots in the community. Emily’s main focus is family care from pregnancy and birth to everything after. She also enjoys working with athletes. Emily is a member of the international chiropractic pediatric Association and is certified in the Webster’s prenatal technique.

After struggling with repetitive knee injuries from running I decided to seek some help beyond the RICE (rest, ice, compression, elevation) method. I recently relocated to the area and did not have an established chiropractor until I met Dr. Emily at a health and wellness event. After a short talk and several alignment checks Dr. Emily makes the appropriate adjustments with ease and finesse. I’ve been to her office 6 times now and at every visit my consultation is informative and I learn more helpful tips to help me achieve optimal wellness… The best part is that I am running again pain free. Also I love that I can quickly book my appointments with Dr. Emily through text and she responds quickly to get me in.

Dr. Emily is the best! I’ve seen several chiropractors over the years for pain in my neck and back and have had good and bad experiences. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Emily. She really took the time to learn about me and why I was coming to see her. She not only addressed my immediate issues but took the time check my whole body. I love her gentle technique and a calming demeanor. As a personal trainer I frequently refer my clients her. Hit my head and back falling on ice at a friends birthday broom ball bash, how often do you hear that in San Diego…, at the UTC mall and needed chiropractic for my neck and ribs, Dr. Emily to the rescue! My hip locked up doing acroyoga with some friends and I needed a chiropractic adjustment to get me back playing, Dr. Emily to the rescue! My foot didn’t feel right after a dance lesson and needed… you guessed it Chiropractic adjustment to get the bones back in place, Dr. Emily to the rescue! I’ve had many Chiropractic adjustments by Dr. Emily I love that she finesses my bones into place rather than jamming them like so many heavy handed Chiropractor’s seem to do. Honestly, I wouldn’t have believe that so many issues could be resolved with such little force before getting adjustments with Dr. Emily. Complete care and attentive to details, I always feel like Dr. Emily is paying attention to what I say is bothering me, but she always finds the problem I didn’t realize was underlying me real issue. Its really a no brainier for me if I need chiropractic in pacific beach Dr. Emily is my choice.

I’ve been adjusted by Dr. Emily many times and every time I get adjusted, I walk away feeling so much better. I use to crack my neck and back on my own all the time, which caused me to be out of proper alignment and ultimately gave me headaches and body aches. Dr. Emily explained the harm in «self-​manipulating» and now I do it less and less. She always gets me back in alignment and feeling better, especially when I have headaches. She explains everything she is doing while you’re being adjusted and why she’s doing it. She is very knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend her to anybody looking to live a healthier life and feel better on a daily basis.

If I could give Dr. Mayo six stars, I would do it without hesitation. She is truly incredible at what she does. As someone who was initially a little hesitant about chiropractic care, I really appreciated Dr. Mayo’s calming tableside manner. She explained everything she did and made sure I was entirely comfortable before doing any element of the adjustment. It is clear she knows exactly what she is doing. Dr. Mayo is extremely thorough and cares deeply about her patient’s individual needs. Her adjustments have saved me by drastically reducing my migraine headaches and back/​neck/​shoulder pain.
