Due to a human error that Metro PCS made, I have lost hundreds of dollars, dozens of hours, almost ended up in Mexico, have been unable to work, have gotten lost and almost ran out of gas and have likely have to push out the date I am moving to Thailand.

Went back to Metro PCS located at 3166 Midway Dr Suite 105, San Diego, CA 92 110 to speak with the tall latino gentleman in his thirties who had been friendly and helpful previously when inquiring about giving their service a test run. I stated that I was willing to try them out if I had no payment due up front (I currently had a payment due with my existing T-​Mobile account). It appeared that he was distracted by entering my information and did not hear me when I stated I was only willing to try their service if no payment was due up front. The way I came to be aware of this was when he told me my payment did not go through. I stated that, of course it had not, as I didn’t have money in that account and had stated that I had just told him I was only willing to try out their service if no payment was due at that time. He was noticeably concerned and a little argumentative, but quickly got on the phone with his supervisor to find out how to resolve the situation. Per his supervisor, he made calls until we were on a three-​way call with T-Mobile’s porting department to explain that the port out was the fault of Metro PCS and needed to be corrected. The rep of the T-​Mobile porting department appeared to do as requested and stated that my line should be back up within a couple hours. My service was not turned on hours later and I almost ended up in Mexico after getting lost without my GPS.

My phone still wasn’t working and I hadn’t been able to get through via email/​internet to Metro PCS or T-​Mobile. I went back to the same Metro PCS store, as I was hoping the same rep would be working. He was not, but the woman working told me (after looking in the system) that my number was still showing with them; it had never been ported back to T-​Mobile.
I was on my way out of town for the holiday and was forced to pay $ 63 for the Metro PCS service on the spot if I wanted a working phone and GPS for the drive.

Still unable to reach either of the carriers by email or other internet avenues (both stated online as to no longer servicing my number as I recall), I was surprised to get a call at 8:33 PM from a T-​Mobile rep based in the Philippines about getting me back as a customer. This was upsetting as I had been continuously trying to reach and/​or rectify the situation with either carrier via email/​internet with no avail, had terrible GPS service driving across the state, communication difficulty, had been forced to pay Metro PCS and it was so late.
The rep told me that we could try to do something to get the $ 63 I had paid to Metro PCS credited since it was due to T-Mobile’s error in porting my number back in. I said that could be a possibility, but I was too tired, confused and wary after everything that had already happened to make a decision right there. The rep stated that I should get back to them within three days.
Note: It appears that T-Mobile’s phone support is primarily based in the Philippines, which has caused quite a bit of communication error and frustration.

My phone service was cut off right when I was on my way somewhere. I once again got lost and almost ran out of gas. Due to the relating distress, I lost my gas cap.
At this point, I was still continuously trying to reach either/​both carrier online and by email.

I went into T-​Mobile in The Plant shopping center off Curtner & Monterey in San Jose, CA and spoke with Yasmin. I explained the situation to which she asked her supervisor what to do and got internal help via phone. I was told that they had blocked my line due to my outstanding payment and showed no record of the conversation with the CS rep from ¹²⁄₂₃. I was also told I had to pay the full $ 120+ outstanding balance regardless of the $ 63 I had already paid to Metro PCS and could work on the credit that had been talked about from there.
I was told there was nothing else they could do.
Note: I don’t understand how Metro PCS is somehow serviced with/​by T-​Mobile and T-​Mobile can block my service with Metro PCS, but they can’t transfer the payment toward the outstanding bill and/​or look into coinciding records in situations such as this?

I went into another the corporate Metro PCS store located at 1041 E. Capitol Expressway
San Jose, CA 95 121 and was told by the manager (shorter stout latino man) that my phone line was showing as no longer with them, so my payment had been forfeited. He was combative, spoke at me and would not let me talk.

Went to this location because I was having slow network issues w/​another carrier. Justin, the owner, was very professional and knew what he was doing. Although I had to go back the second time, my phone was good to go after 10 minutes from his savvy skills. Thank you Justin! Already referred my friend to you. Metro is so much faster than my previous carrier.

What a nice guy! I had a super great experience last night when I popped into Metro PCS and met Justin. He set me up with a sweet phone and a great deal. Then he transferred everything over for me. I honestly have nothing to say negative about my experience. Justin smoothly and professionally made the switch from Virgin to METRO PCS. bald tanned agent with ugly tattoo on arm sold me a sim for iphone 5c for $ 25 which is fine, then instructed me it was not factory unlocked fully and wanted to charge me $ 15 to unlock it fully. data was off, after i clicked that button it started working. I hope people dont get scammed like this all the time when changing phones. other than that price is good, service was quick, the guy was cool and it was super fast.

ONLY USE THIS METROPCS STORE! I came in here with issues from another store and I was very rude to the man in the front (who turned out to be the owner). He was still ridiculously polite and I added a line here. The next day my phone was shut off because of the losers at the store on el cajon blvd and 30^th st. I called the owner on Convoy he called Metro for me and my phone was restored in 10 minutes. (Supposedly I owed 10 $ for a line I cancelled but he paid it so I could have my 2 phones service).
MetroPCS has great deals for phones but this is THE ONLY STORE with TRAINED, CARING professionals. I wish I had only gone to this store.

This is the least ghetto MetroPCS i’ve ever been to in San Diego.
Although metro is rather new in san diego, I’m glad they’ve branched out here but there are some that are super small and have terrible service (college avenue one) and that try to sell you an Iphone that isn’t even their own carrier cause Metro doesn’t carry iphones, they’re team android.
This one is actually legit and small but very open spaced and they’ll remember you since they seem to never be busy. They’re really helpful and stay open the latest that I know of as well. I will only go to this MetroPCS store out of all in SD.

I’ve had metropieceofs**t for several years between san bernardino and san diego and their service has steadily gotten worse. I’ve gone from the $ 40 plan, to the $ 50 plan, to the $ 60 plan, and received slower service (downloading) and buffering.
Metropcs Sucks.

I was really happy with the service here. I was able to switch carriers, port my number and get a new phone in less than 30 minutes. They also gave me a great deal on accessories and allowed me to use my Unilocal deal with no problems. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

1 million stars If it the option was available. Robert the working guy was being very helpful. I texted him my IMEI number rather than driving all the way over there and in a matter of seconds he texted me back saying that the IMEI number was ok to unlock. Saved me a trip and was able to unlock my iphone in 2 days and for $ 35!!! Who does that so cheap? I would definitely recommend this place. Great people great service. Thank you guys

Bought a phone from tmobile and had it switched over to metro pcs. Phone was being really slow and I was about to sell it. BUT. Luckily as a last ditch effort I decided to bring it in to this location and have Robert check it out. In a few seconds he knew right away what the problem was. Amazing! Saved me so much more time and hassle. I get to keep my new phone. Robert was such an amazing help, very professional, knowledgable and friendly. He actually got my whole family started on a plan and theyre tough to deal with believe me. I rarely write reviews and it takes something out of the ordinary to make me do this. So here. Metro pcs has great service, everyone including robert seems really helpful. Come check them out!

I can say that I highly recommend this metro pcs to Anyone that wants a GREAT experience. I feel extremely comfortable with my purchase today I have been with other phone carriers but Justin definitely has earned my business and future referrals. I felt happy when I entered and was greeted by Karina she was friendly and made me feel comfortable not many places offer water chairs and conversation. Karina and Justin made me feel right at home. I bought a phone with a rebate offer. I received an email June 11, saying rebate was approved and would be received by me in 10 to 15 days. After still not receiving anything and multiple attempts to contact their rebate dept. I finally got through after being on hold for half an hour and was simply told that they had run out of cards and they would ship it by the end of July. I would rate their customer service below inferior regarding this entire scenario.

Came here with an existing issue from a different metro pcs store. Justin and his employees Are very courteous and efficient. Thanks for resolving my issue, will be back if I need anything else!

These guys are the best! I have a corporate account with multiple phones. I had an issue with one of the phone lines. I had called corporate on my own and they said they couldn’t help me due to a time issue. Justin took the time and after 4 – 5 phone calls he made got my issue resolved and upgraded my phones to the new GSM required
