Description

Specialties

The Law Office of Michael R. Vachon, Esq. specializes in representing California consumers asserting legal claims under the California lemon law. The «lemon law» is a powerful consumer protection statute that was enacted by the legislature in Sacramento, and which applies throughout this State. If an automobile manufacturer is unable to repair a substantial malfunction in a vehicle that is under warranty, then it is obligated to either repurchase the vehicle or replace it with a new one. Consumers can also be awarded monetary compensation for repair bills, rental car expenses, tow charges, etc., and receive a «civil penalty» payment of up to twice the vehicle’s value if the vehicle manufacturer refuses to willfully comply with the California lemon law.

The Law Office of Michael R. Vachon, Esq. usually takes cases with no money down. And under the lemon law the auto manufacturer — NOT the consumer — has to pay all of the attorney’s fees if the consumer wins!
