Been coming here on and off for the last 2.5 years ever since I moved to G.H. I love getting my hair washed and styled by Mireya. She is a doll. M. is fun to talk to. Most friendliest hairstylist I’ve ever had. I come here when I’m too lazy to do anything with my hair or when I do not want to spend too much moolah on it. Sometimes I listen to her conversations in Spanish when she is talking with other visitors or employees. But shhh. don’t tell her that. Will keep coming back here.

My boyfriend had an interview and we only had an hour. We decided to walk up the street and give this salon a try. My boyfriend is pretty picky about his hair, but we were in a time crunch and any haircut was better than none in my opinion. I have had some pretty bad experiences at the salon, but hey, what can I say? I’m a risk taker! Anyway, my boyfriend begrudgingly went along with the option of shaving it if he didn’t like it and… well…the result? He’s super stoked! It seriously looks soo good. Saul was the guy that cut his hair. He’s a really good listener, super attentive to exactly what you want and he’s quick too. He’s been cutting hair for 20 years and it shows! We got out of there in under 30 minutes for under 20 bucks. Can’t beat that, nooo sir! Glad we found a good neighbourhood hairdresser. We will be back!

Watch Out! This place can give the worst hair cut and in the end they will hide their business license. My daughter wanted layers and she ended up with an EMO hair cut. I ask for layers and I got choppy hair and I had to get my hair fix somewhere else. The owner has no credibility. When you walk into any beauty salon protect yourself by asking for the stylist license # in case most of your hair is out the door. I ask the owner for their business license and she refused to show it to me. By Law it needs to be posted for public view. This place is a FLAW to great customer service and excellence. I have spoke with several past customers of this place who never complained but decided to NEVERRETURN: a friend, my sister, and a store employee close by, so far. I will let everyone know how this business owner continues to operate with no remorse to the well-being of others. I was even advised by a formal employee of Mireya’s Unisex Beauty Salon that because I complained I had psychological problems, how in the world did a Psychologist settled as a stylist in the first place? This same guy said that I was wasting my time and the salon never gets sanction for making a bad hair cut but only if a chemical is wrongly applied. If this salon is operating with this mentally, beware, your hair is at stake!
