I called the phone number for this conpany and the message said they are not taking any new customers.
NO NEW CLIENTS? That’s silly,
I was looking forward to getting my Mac fixed.

I needed someone to network my home set up with Cox Cable. Craig came over and in 15 minutes I was good to go. Very nice guy, too.

Okay, this is my third time using MMF and they are now 3−4−3 in customer service & loyalty. A little over a month ago my MacBook Pro crashed & burned off of a shelf & in effect, disintegrated. Not being ready to buy a fresh one & of course, my Time Machine was sorely outdated, I needed critical files off of my Mac to move over to my new MacBook Pro & wasn’t ready to have a Tech to do it. I called Craig from MacBook who walked me through recovering my files over the phone. Awesome! He saved me a fistful of money, it took less than 5 minutes & pretty much assured I am a loyal customer. Again, nice work!

I have been a Macfix customer for a long time and just bought another computer from them. Their service is fantastic, quick, and always backed up with great customer service! Craig has always gone above and beyond to set up my computers. He always gives me great tips on how to use my computer more efficiently too. His prices are extremely reasonable. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Well this review is not for any mac that i have taken in and have gotten fixed but it is for there customer support. I contacted Mobil Macfix about a 5 days ago and have yet to hear back from them. I left a message on Friday and I emailed on Monday and no word back. As everyone knows having a nonworking mac computer is the worst thing ever and I am desperately trying to find a good place/​person for repair and so I decided to Unilocal and found this place. There online website say’s that they give a 24hr response and yet i still haven’t heard anything and yes i checked my spam and if I made a mistake and accidentally deleted a email or unknowingly deleted a message on my cell **unlikely** then I apologize. I hate giving a low rating especially when everyone else seems to love this place but the fact of the matter is that it has been 5 days since the first initial contact and no response and still a broken mac.
2/​9/​11 – update–
Craig (the owner) just contacted me via email and explained that there slow customer service is due to data loss and that they will be back up and running to normal by next week. I have already taken my laptop to another location and wish I could have worked with this company they seem very legit and thoughtful.

Mobile Mac Fix is the answer to needing Mac help quickly and competently. A phone call to Craig and he was there the next day on time and had the problem solved within the hour. The added bonus was that he took his time and provided me with some hints on how to use my Mac better. Based on on recommendations, we will be upgrading the Mac with Mobile Mac Fix, in the next few months.

Did a total boneheaded move and accidentally put my SD card in the CD slot of my iMac when I thought I could «no-​look» insert. Since my computer is also my primary bread winner I was frightened at the thought of setting up an appointment at the Apple Store or Cry Wolf and discovering that I may be without my computer for a couple days or even have to wait for the first available appointment. My fears subsided when I learned about Mobile Mac Fix be searching online for other alternatives. They were great on the phone and very thorough with the appointment process and confirmation, description of the process, etc.
They came to my house and picked up my machine at around 11:30AM and had it back to me within a couple hours. (They needed to take it in to their dust-​free environment since they had to open the iMac up to get to my card) I have a baby who was awake and wanted to play during that time so I didn’t even miss any work! All this and they were incredibly reasonably priced.
This makes my clients, baby and self very happy.
I would highly recommend Mobile Mac Fix for all your Apple-​related situations.

Our company was in need of a local Mac repair & IT specialist to help sort out our various issues involving hardware, software, interfaces and back ups. Being a small company the issues were mostly manageable but yet annoying, time consuming and costly with ineffective technicians.
I found Craig’s company on line and he was extremely accommodating to set up a visit with our management at no charge to see if this would be a good fit for both companies. Craig gave us the soft sell and a bio of his Apple credentials. We were very impressed with his very calming attitude and ability to diagnose problems very quickly. Within two days he was able to get all our interfaces ironed out, got our computers (11) working faster and gave us recommendations on upgrades and setting up our network for effective back ups. Going forward he will be the only Mac IT Tech that we will let work on our system.

We have been working with Craig at Mobile MacFix for close to a year now regarding mac repairs for several of our office Macs. He’s been able to repair all of our issues in a timely manner. This service really saved us a lot of time and money because instead of traveling to a repair shop, Craig made visits to our office in order to check our computers. He’ll pick up the computer if needed to be repaired and he’s also updated all of our computers to the latest software. Everything now works great. I’d recommend to consider Mobile MacFix first before going elsewhere. It’s just easier and less priced.

A few weeks ago I accidentally busted my Macbook Pro’s LCD and was unable to use my beloved Mac. I called a couple places around town that I found off of Unilocal and they quoted me astronomically high prices. Had 1 shop tell me there was no way to replace the LCD and that I should just come in and buy a new Macbook Pro. I will refrain from outing them. Anyways, so I came across Mobile MacFix’s review on here and gave them a call. I explained my situation to the owner Craig and he had me read some numbers off of my computer and told me he’d call me back with the price. When he called me back he quoted me a price that was several hundred $$$ less than all of the other places. I thought something was off so I called him out on it. He stuck to his guns so I told him to order the part and lets get er done. Later that day he swung by my apartment and grabbed my computer. Had it back to me the next day and all was good! I saved about $ 250 by going through Mobile MacFix!!! Not sure why the other shops were charging so high just to replace the LCD. Whatever, they lost my business. Craig does a great job and has the best prices on labor in San Diego. Best of all, he picks up and drops off your computer. Got Mac problems? Give Craig a call and tell him I sent you.
