Dan has over 20 years experience teaching dance and is an award winning performer and choreographer.

Business Owner

Dan Gibbons started dancing on a winter break from school when he was 15 as a way for his parents to keep him out of trouble. Dan joined a youth dance troop in his hometown of San Jose CA and was soon performing and competing in events across the west coast. At 17 Dan was recruited to dance professionaly with one of the studios top female competitors and his career as a professional dancer begun.

After graduating high school Dan moved to London to train with the worlds top dancers. While in England Dan was hired to teach in San Diego at Mary Murphy’s Champion Ballroom. Excited to get back to California Dan jumped at the chance.

Over the years Dan has danced in many shows and competitions. Dan and partner Miki Jennings became the California Open Professional Showdance Champions in 2011 for thier interpritation of the Beattles hit «Imagine».
