Our movers arrived on time and were clean, friendly, and efficient. No slacking from these gentlemen! They were a well-​organized team and made sure our stuff was safely transported and positioned in the new house. After moving 7 times with movers, this was BY FAR the best experience I have had. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

These guys are awesome! Mario, Jeremiah, Yklas, and Rick were super fast! They were courteous, professional, and even patient with our two young boys running around and making noise. They were careful and considerate with our belongings.

We didn’t know when we would close on our new house. We had postponed and they were able to accommodate our schedule last minute. Koa advise on the number of men and trucks was correct, even to the time they would be complete. All 6 movers were professional, friendly and quick. They covered doors and the staircase in order to be careful. They did a lot in a prompt time. We have 2 frieinds moving soon and we will be recommending them. I highly recommend this company. As a Navy family, we’ve moved 15 times all around the country and overseas. The Move Central team that showed up today was by far THE BEST in the business! They did an amazing job handling 2 truckloads of heavy furniture, boxes, basement & full garage items in record breaking time. Zero issues. Special thanks to Bobby, Marcos, Hector3, Chris, Jeremiah and Daniel1. If you need true professionals, ask for this team by name.

They did an okay job but I’ve moved so many times, I know what normal breakage is and they broke more than normal. We had two plasma tvs damaged, several smaller items, and unpacking was a bit of a hassle (they didn’t want to do it but I insisted). So I found clothes, still on the hangers, were lifted out of wardrobe boxes and just thrown in the floor of the closet!
I do like that our estimate was a bit high so our price came in lower. Always good business to under promise and over deliver.
Jeremiah was the exceptional worker among the crew. I wish he had been available both days. He was amazing!

I highly recommend Move Central. I’ve used different companies in the past with both good and bad outcomes. This time, my move was the smoothest it’s ever been. Setting up the appointment was easy. On the day of the move, I was pretty prepared. Everything was boxed up and ready to go. Given my past moves, I knew that this move should be quick and painless — depending on the crew. Nick and Steven did a great job. They were efficient and got the job done quickly. I will definitely use them again.

We interviewed a bunch of movers before we picked Move Central to move us from Poway to San Jose. From start to finish we were pleased. They showed up on time, the men were pleasant and efficient. Our crew leader Kona, packed the truck while the others wrapped furniture. They even swept the garage floor when they were all done!
What we liked most was the same men that packed us up, drove the truck up and unloaded everything in our new house. Good job!

We used Move Central for a second time last week and our experience was even better than the first. There was a mixup at first where 3 movers were sent instead of the requested two, and Move Central were gracious enough to not charge us for the 3rd for the first half of the move (he was dropped off before moving into the new place). This made the process much faster and less stressful since there were more hands for bringing larger pieces of furniture down switchback stairs.
Our movers, Hector (#1), Luis L, and Jose (#1) were extremely courteous, careful and professional. They carefully wrapped everything in plastic wrap and moving blankets and we had zero damage after everything was finished. They listened to all our requests and were very friendly.
We hope we don’t have to move again anytime soon, but if we do we’ll hire Move Central again.

If I could get them ten thousand stars, I would. Manny and Victor not only were extremely punctual and fast, but they were very personable and funny too. They took all the stress out of my move. I’m going to give this company 4⁄5 stars. Was a little skeptical at first at a moving company charging an hourly rate since the issue with that is that they could potentially burn a lot of time moving slow on purpose or chill in the moving truck without you knowing, running down the time.
Luckily, these guys didn’t do that. Great service, very prompt, friendly guys, and they were able to do an awesome job packing everything, and then moving and fitting everything into a small storage unit I had, saving me about $ 300 over the course of 6 months being able to fit everything into that unit instead of me having to get a bigger one.
Only issue I had really was the use of moving blankets. What I was unaware of was that they charge $ 15 for each moving blanket they use to protect your stuff as they move your items and place them in storage. It’s an optional service that you don’t need to use but I used them. They said that you get reimbursed this money if you used Move Central again when moving back in so we’ll see if that holds true 6 months from now.
Again, great, speedy service and I would recommend these guys for your move!

Expensive for sure, but you get what you pay for — great service and awesome dudes that move your stuff, FAST.
I was lucky enough to have Bobby, Ryan, and Hector (#3) as my crew. They moved me out of my 2 bedroom apartment into a storage unit for about $ 750, taking extreme care of my possessions. Bobby was the leader, super fabulous and on top of everything. Ryan was this interesting ex-​military dude who wakes up at 5AM and works out for an hour before coming to work (AS A MOVER), and Hector (#3) didn’t say a lot but he worked hard as balls.
I don’t know why you’d choose anyone else. Well maybe if you’re broke you could go on CL and try to find some freelancers, but if you’re going to pay to move, A+++++ THESE GUYS.
Bobby, Ryan, and Hector #3. I would request this crew by name. I’m sure they have other great movers, but I really can’t give enough props to these 3 guys.

We’ve moved with Move Central 3 times now and they’ve been consistently great. This time we had Hector and Luis as our movers and we got them with less than 24 hours notice. They were on time, fast, and friendly (as has always been the case with MC). They also knocked out our move in less than 3 hours with just the two of them, which is incredible. In each case, our movers have just gone to work immediately and gotten it done.
There’s a reason Move Central is ranked as the best in San Diego; I’ve used other movers that cost more and weren’t nearly as good. If you’re looking for affordable movers who work hard and take good care of your stuff, I don’t think you’ll beat Move Central.

Bobby & his colleague were awesome today, took about 5+ hrs to move our whole apartment
They were so quick in wrapping and protecting all our furniture. Nothing was damaged and everything was put where we needed it to go.

Excellent Service from Move Central, I highly recommend them if you’re moving.
Scheduling the appointment was quick and easy. Dave called back to provide a quote and answer all my questions. Based on previous reviews I decided to go with Move Central and scheduled my move date.
A day prior to the move, Move Central called to confirm the appointment. On the day of, Kona and JR were our movers. They both introduced themselves and were friendly. They were quick and efficient, while taking care to wrap furniture and valuables. We were a little unsure with larger items like our TV and frames, but everything was well cared for.
If you’re moving check out Move Central. They have competitive rates and most of all professional staff.

We used these guys (Kona, Luis, Francisco and Austin) to move to our new home on 1÷23÷16. They were so attentive and careful with all of our belongings! We did not have one incident where they messed up any item. Everything was in perfect condition and they were so nice and helpful. We moved from a place that was a townhouse with about three stairways, and I know it was super difficult for them, but they did it with such professionalism.
Kona was the lead guy, and I cannot rave about him enough. He was so nice and such a good sport about everything. There were no hidden fees, we pretty much expected the price at the end.
Thank you guys so very much!!! If we move again (which won’t be for a long time), we will definitely call again!

After searching on Unilocal and reading reviews, Tupac and I chose Move Central to move all of our belongings to our new home. We scheduled our movers to be at our place at 10am and they showed up 9am. I’m glad they did. We had them first pack up our garage items.
We informed the dispatcher that we would probably need a large truck and they came with their largest truck that accommodated all of our stuff. :). YAY!
These guys are hustlers. Kona, Chantell and Juan ran up the stairs then down the stairs at both places. Loading and unloading and they only took 1 break.
At first, I was a little hesitant with hiring movers due to the cost and just in case these guys were shady but right when I spoke to Kona I knew I already liked them. Aloha Braddah Kona for making me comfortable knowing a fellow islander is doing my move.
I would highly recommend Move Central for your moving needs. Professional attitude and they wrapped all my fragile items. What a great experience. Thank you again.
