Nick Ivory had developed an insatiable passion for the art of magic since the age of 6. He studied the craft and practiced daily on anyone who would lend attention to a young magician in the making. At age 16 Nick began performing for audiences at local restaurants and private parties in his hometown of Chicago.

By age 21 Nick began performing at the hottest lounges and nightclubs from Chicago to Las Vegas, drawing crowds into sheer amazement; performing at renown nightclubs, like Studio 54, to major Casinos like Caesars Palace and The Bellagio; with regular appearances at the infamous Playboy Mansion. With Nick’s natural charming persona, innate confidence in front of crowds, and a pure talent of attracting peoples attention, Nick’s affinity as a conjurer grew.

Currently, Nick Ivory resides in San Diego and performs his magic at some of the most exclusive high-​powered corporate functions and private events around the world.

Hire this man today! We asked Nick to be apart of our Cirque Du Soleil themed work holiday party to be one of our entertainers throughout the night. We had stilt walkers, aerialists, dancing girls, BUT Nick Ivory is the one that stole the show! We asked him do his walk around tricks as well as a 30 minute stage performance. It was amazing. Our entire office has been raving about his magic days later. This man had to have graduated from Hogwarts or something. He is truly magical. He is also hilarious, mixing in comedy into his routine and pulls people from the audience so you really feel involved the entire show. I can not say enough great things about Nick Ivory and I will definitely be looking for him at his local shows whenever I feel like being amazed. Thank you Nick!

Huge Success! I asked Nick to perform for one of my kids 30ies birthday surprise party, last Saturday. He was amazing. Everybody had a wonderful time and loved his performance. Very smart, very engaging show and definitely a very talented professional. High quality tricks and illusions that wowed everybody. I think that was the best surprise party ever. I did not hear about Nick from somebody — i just went in the internet and did a search when other reviews came up and made me decide to contact him and have him perform. I hope my review now in addition to previous ones will help new clients to make the right selection when hiring him.

Hired Nick for my client event today! I wanted to write the review tonight so I wouldn’t forget to give this guy the props he deserves! He was on time, professional, and was the hit of the party! He was really great with the crowd, wish I would’ve got him for 2 hours instead of one :(All of my clients/​guests were super pleased! I would hire him again, no questions asked! I think he would be a great addition to any type of event! Everyone loves magic! Give him a shot! Thank me later!

I have booked Nick twice now. He just recently did a gig for me for my bday party. I had everything go completely wrong that day! My water line broke in the kitchen and I awoke to my kitchen being flooded the day of the party so I spent most of my time repairing that instead of preparing for the party. Also at noon my 5 piece band cancelled due to a singer being sick. I made a play list on my phone to play over speakers outside. I had about 30 or 40 guests and quickly ran out of food and alcohol and was super nervous that the party was a total disaster.
Then walks in Nick. Just like previously he was on time, professional and very flexible with the setting and guests.
Nick was a total hit! He turned my party from a total failure into spectacular! The next day all of my friends texted me what an awesome time they had and how they still were amazed by the magic performed. I got to work on Tuesday and my co-​workers thanked me over and over again for their invite to my party and all they could talk about all day was Nick’s performance!
Nick saved my birthday! I beyond highly recommend him for any event. This guy is literally insurance that your party or event will be awesome no matter what goes wrong!

A friend of mine hired Nick for his wife’s 30th birthday party and I was lucky enough to be a guest at this party. Nick was awesome! He was funny (not cheesy), his magic was insane and kept everyone at the party engaged and participating in each trick. Best yet, he would take tricks you have seen a million times and put his own spin on them or take them to the next level. I don’t have one bad thing to say about him. My husband and I took his card because we will definitely be using him at parties of our own.

Nick has performed at our company Christmas party for the last few years and is always a huge it. I tracked down his info and contacted him to see if he could come over as a surprise for a BBQ we were having to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We had about 10 people over, and he was a huge hit! He had everyone laughing quickly, then completely blew everyone’s minds (including the most skeptical) with his illusions/​tricks. The party was great before he came, but he will be what made the birthday celebration memorable for years to come! I could not recommend him more.

We asked Nick to perform at our housewarming party this weekend and he did not disappoint. Not only were his illusions mind blowing, but he was extremely funny and entertaining in his interactions with our guests.

Simply amazing! I saw Nick perform at another function, and hired him for my husband’s 40 th surprise birthday party. He is an amazing performer, and has a great sense of humor and personality to top off all the crazy-​mind blowing illusions. He interacts with adults and children with ease and made sure every group at our party was entertained. My husband will hire him for his company’s corporate events in the future!

I am a big fan of nick ivory the magician illusionist (doesn’t matter ultimately if you know the difference if you are watching him perform) for a few years now. He does cater to small groups and tables as the magic and illusions are performed within 5 feet of you and your friends. I have seen him perform numerous times and would love to see him at any event he is unbelievably amazing. He is a cool and smart guy to talk to as well. One of my favorites is when he makes a playing card you write your name on disappear and reappear folded up in the back of a phone behind the battery and folded up. He has another one where he places your own quarter in your own hand and bends it while it remains in your hand. Words don’t do him justice. You have to see it to truly suspend disbelief. He is usually at tilted kilt mission valley on Thursday eves and downtown tilted kilt on Tuesdays if you want to watch before hiring him. I never get bored of watching whenever I am down there and everyone I have ever met who has seen him walks away with mind blown.

I’ve only written 2 reviews on Unilocal before, and I had to make my third for Nick.
Nick was awesome! The girlfriend had met him at another event and got his information. She wrote him asking when we could see him perform and he responded quickly and was super friendly. He let us know the time and place, and made sure we had a place to sit once we got there.
Now for the entertainment. AWESOME! I have been a fan of magic since I was a kid but have never seen anything like this before. Incredibly entertaining and very interactive. He came to our table and not only was the performance awesome, but he had a good sense of humor as well.
For anyone that is looking for entertainment for a company party, or birthday, I HIGHLY recommend him.

We regularly take family and friends to go see him perform, and they always leave asking when we can go back! Nick is amazing! He does work at Tilted Kilt (we are investors) and that is where my husband found him. We hired him to come to our Memorial Day Party and he was fantastic. He had everyone spellbound and so many people continued to talk about him after he was gone.
My friend and I were at the TK one night after our Memorial Day Party while he was there and he spent time with us… we were both amazed at all of his illusions and how good he is.

This guy is amazing! We hired him for our wedding after party in Downtown San Diego and he is all anyone is talking about. He is one of the greatest I have ever seen. He dose a great job of interacting with everyone and you never expect what is coming! I recommend this guy to everyone. You have to see this man work!!!

Nick Ivory does a great job of up-​close and personal entertaining. After seeing his act I have had him entertain co-​workers, stressed out military guys, family friends, and my daughter’s crew. He is good with adults and kids and performs some truly amazing feats. I had a group of 30 for my daughter’s 20th birthday and 100% of them loved Nick’s show.
