O’Reilly Auto Parts

Sadly I had an terrible experience at this store. I went to it for 3 things a running light, a headlight and a fuse. I knew the headlight and fuse I needed by name but was unsure about the running light. First off, when I walked into the store there was no greeting or anything, I walked up to the counter and both cashiers just stood there until I made the point to let them know I was standing there because I needed something. When I told them the make and model of the car they said there could be two options and it would be easiest if I went out and removed the running light to see the exact one. I spent 20 minutes trying to remove the running light, which was surprisingly hard, and I could not get it. In those 20 minutes 3 people walked by and informed me that the workers in O’Reilly would probably be able to help me get it out. I went back in to O’Reilly and asked if they could help me out or at least just come look at the light really quick (my car was parked directly in front of the store) to see if it was the correct one and they both just stood there and looked at each other until one finally replied «we don’t get paid enough for that.» and the other just laughed and said «yeah.» I understand if they don’t want to be responsible for anything breaking but I don’t think I was asking too much. They could have just poked their head out the front door and checked to see what shape the light was. Instead I had them show me both options and picked the one I thought was right (which thankfully it was). As for the fuse (which I needed for another car that I was not currently driving), I told them I needed the smallest 7.5A fuse they had. They gave me a box of 7.5A fuses, and I asked again «are these the smallest» to which they replied yes. Turns out they weren’t the smallest and I had to go back 20 minutes later to get the right ones which I picked out without their help. They didn’t even offer me a refund on the fuses I had previously bought, nor did they say one word the second time I went in. In no way was I rude to them at any point that I was there, however from the moment I walked in they I could tell that their customer service skills were awful. I felt like I was an inconvenience being there and like they just wanted to go home. The only reason I went to O’Reilly was because they were close to where I live. I will not be making that mistake again. There are multiple other auto parts shops that have treated me with much better service, not to mention who are much more knowledgable about the parts their selling.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience at this store. I needed to purchase a battery for a trailer dolly that I did not know if I was going to need or not. I expressed my concern with the sales rep at the store that I might not need the battery. He said «no problem if you don’t need it just bring it back». Well it turned out I didn’t need the battery so I brought it back. When I went to return it the assistant store manager Carlos told me nope can’t take it back because a plastic tab was removed from the terminal and that it was used. I assured him that the battery was not indeed used and the plastic was removed to look at the connection points. He then became very rude and was comparing my battery purchase to a cheeseburger??? I then said I understand you have policy’s and procedures here so just charge me a restocking fee. He then basically told me to pound sand and was so rude that other customers in the store were making comments about his behavior. As a business owner in the automotive field I am extremely surprised at the extremely low level of customer service. It’s one thing to tell me you can’t return the battery but, there is no excuse for Carlos’s behavior. O’reilly Auto Parts if you get a chance to read this, Carlos is absolutely NOT management material and I highly suggest you take a second look at his employment with your company. I have talked to the district manager and I am hoping to get this situation resolved.

I can’t really say enough good about the staff at this store. Very attentive to my needs. Prices are about the same as Autozone but the staff is definitely better. I will always look first to this store before going somewhere else. Pat R.

I visited this location July 31 at 1:50 PM ish. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE ! Three employees in the back jacking off and the other two ignoring the cash register and me. two customers in the hole store. Thank God walmart was near by and had cashiers willing and helpful

Stopped by for power steering fluid. Accidentally put PS fluid in alternator fluid. They helped me and gave me the alternator fluid. Definition of good people.

Thank you John for installing my battery! Sweet, smart, and funny along with the rest of the staff. Definitely returning for my next vehicular need.

Great shop by its staff, they are so helpful, good costumer service and you could find almost every thing for your car there. They are all professional, specially Steve. Matt was so helpful. Thank you all, you are doing great job.
I always enter that store worried about my car problem, then go out of the store so happy with the solutions and parts that they provide me.

Great staff at this location. They are friendly, helpful and always help me find/​order the parts I need. Store is clean, well organized and conveniently located. I always sop here for items like Serpentine belts, air filters, fasteners, etc. Sure, there might be better prices online but this place makes it pretty easy and painless finding the right part with very little associated premium. These folks are good in my book.

I was in dire need of some window wiper fluid. I stopped by here because it was next door to where I had lunch. When I walked in, I was greeted, and I quickly saw the stack of washer fluid next to the main window. I picked up a bottle of the blue stuff for $ 2.29. Every once in a while they have it on sale for $ 1.99 but not today. The service at the counter was very good and friendly.
The place appeared very organized and clean. Oh yes, I can see better from my windshield now. That is a good thing.

I live around the area and come in the store often for parts on my car. To begin, I am terrible with car servicing knowledge and always ask for advice relating for such matters.
I’ve looked at reviews for other Kragens Auto Parts and can’t really understand why they’d be low. They should go to this store!
The guys there are always efficient, very friendly, knowledgable, and passionate about cars. Steve, the assistant manager, has helped me out more than a few times. They even go the whole distance and point out areas on my car where my knowledge is fuzzy.
