Beautiful church! Attended mass here… plenty of parking. The parishioners were friendly and helpful. One lady stopped to let me know they were serving donuts and coffee before mass. There is also a little section in the back designated for families with small children so they don’t disrupt the service. The church itself is nice and open and overall has a welcoming vibe. Will attend mass here again whenever I’m in the La Jolla area.

I had a great experience at this church. We were new to the UTC area and were trying to find a church to call home & baptize our son. We had actually been turned down by other Catholic churches (in Tierrasanta where we moved from & in La Jolla near my old job), how do you turn down parishioners!!! Anyway, Pat, the coordinator was extremely helpful & welcoming & worked with my husband and I who had a godparent flying in internationally from Brazil! I’m just so incredibly thankful we found OMC.

This church is very welcoming and friendly. Father Mark and all the staff helped my family with our daughter’s baptism, and they are very accommodating and helpful. They are easy to contact via phone and emails, and setting appointments are easy due to open availability. I recommend Our Mother of Confidence Catholic Church to everyone.

I have been going to this church since I was 8 years old and grew up in this neighborhood. I have visited many churches during that time, most recently Chorpus Christi, because we moved away from University City. I always come back to OMC. My husband and I were married here in 2009. The community of this church is very kind and inviting. Now I’m all grown up, married with a baby and we make the drive all the way from Eastlake to UC every Sunday. One of my favorite things is the contemporary choir which is outstanding! For me no other church has ever made me feel so comfortable, it is home to me.

I’ve actually been here twice between the last few times I’ve visited San Diego. The 9am mass has a small musical ensemble with a flute, guitar and piano. The choir is nice as well. Although not the most dedicated Catholic out there, when I do find the time to go to mass, I will. I enjoyed the service very much and would love to come back here.

I SAY AMEN TO THIS CHURCH!
I haven been dealing with some stress and needed some spiritual guidance in my life and found this church online, so decided to check it out!
Once I walked in, I felt immediately comfortable and at home! This church is HUGE and so nice! Although, yes, from the outside looks very «Brady Bunch», inside is amazing with the high ceilings, comfortable seating, and you can actual hear the priest because the sound system is perfect!
There is lots of parking at this place and the parishioners seem very friendly and inviting!

This was our church for awhile when I first moved out here. I had to get permission to get married in a different church in Boston and we had to go through the Engaged Encounters and Pre-​marital counseling, etc. It was rather fun and interesting and we got to learn so much more about each other. We would attend this church every Sunday at 11am and it’s a very welcoming place. It lost a star because they sided with our corrupted priest back in Boston.

I moved to UTC a few years ago and OMC is my parish. It is honestly, one of the most welcoming churches I’ve ever been to. Everyone is just so kind and you really do feel like a community. The church was also recently renovated and is absolutely beautiful. I love it here.
