I am happy for all the reviewers that rated the company 5 stars. I wish I had received that service.
My review is about grout cleaning. The technician came and showed my husband a test spot which he cleaned beautifully. After seeing the demonstration and understanding that the grout will not become white again we said yes. Unfortunately, the rest of the grout was not cleaned as well. There are patches of grout that are still black!
When I called the company back the same day, customer service was not their top priority. I was told that they would charge me again if they had to come out. WOW!
Carpet cleaning has a 2 week guarantee but watch out grout cleaning has none :(
Update: Well, the company did come back and tried to clean the grout again. Seems like the product that they use is not the best for our grout.

I was really looking forward to writing good things about OxiFresh, as the customer service I experienced when setting up my appointment was great. This carpet cleaning job was for a rental unit 20 miles from my home. The brand-​new carpet (10 months old) was in pretty bad shape thanks to a very sloppy tenant, and we were showing prospective renters the property the next day. However, as my appointment time came and went and there was no call, I phoned the company to find out why there was a delay. Turns out they had erroneously scheduled me for the next day. I had made a 40-​mile round trip and sat waiting for a cleaning job which never happened. The representative apologized and said this was her mistake.
Hey, mistakes occur. I can roll with them. And when something like this happens, I usually wait to see if the representative, after owning his/​her mistake, will work to keep me as a customer, by offering a discount or SOMETHING to make sure I don’t go away mad.
None came, and I certainly wasn’t going to prompt someone on how to keep a customer. I cancelled my appointment and called another carpet cleaning company. They are very highly-​rated on Unilocal,returned my call within minutes, and were happy to make an appointment as soon as possible.

I guess maybe I did not ask the right questions when making the appointment. While the customer service and efficiency were excellent I am now at the point where I have no idea what I paid for. I think they may have just sprayed sanitizer everywhere.
The guy who came out was kind and professional and quick, after he finished we let it dry and didn’t really look closely at it for a few hours. I just read their info pade on Unilocal,it says the technician will do a walk through with you before and after. He did not with us, I just showed him the empty rooms and he said ok. When he left he just took payment and had me sign. I looked in before he left but it was all still somewhat wet so I dont know how I would have noticed any difference from one area to the next. Once it had dried my dad pointed out there was still a lot of discoloration from where the bed used to be (so already pretty clean carpet) to the trafficked areas of the carpet. I chalked it up to it just being well worn areas that were probably not going to get cleaned.
However, after having just spilled a huge glass of water in a higher trafficed area about 2 months later (we don’t wear shoes on the carpet so not too much new dirt should have been added) and laying a white towel down, then standing on it to soak it up, then pulling that towel up and seeing dark brown and black coloration I’m pretty sure they didn’t really clean the carpets in the sense of them getting shampooed. We even noticed the guy just sprayed something then just had a little small machine to suck it up, but hey I don’t know what kind of technology there is for carpet cleaning these days so I thought nothing of it really.
The woman who booked my service said they had a 2 room special for 78 $ at the time. I thought great! Sounds reasonable. Like I said, maybe I should not have assumed carpet cleaning meant shampooing, maybe they are different, I don’t know. But it would have been nice for them to have explained that if so.
So I would recommend you being specific in what you are asking to be done. I’m really bummed this is what the final product was because we’ve already moved all our stuff into what was an empty place and I don’t plan to move it out to have the carpets cleaned again.

They got out some really tough stains and my carpets now look BEAUTIFUL!!! I didn’t think it was possible. I feel so much happier in my place now!

I’m a Realtor. I first met Glen when he came to a Realtor meeting here in Scripps Ranch to introduce himself and his unique carpet cleaning process to us. I liked his personality instantly and noted his clear passion for his business. He told us how HE discovered OxiFresh (originally as a customer himself), and how he was so impressed with the process that he decided to invest in the business! That definitely peaked my curiosity, so we tried him on our own carpets first. Now, I need to explain… my husband and I work from home. We have all the office equipment of a full scale real estate office, with multiple machines using toner and ink, which tend to produce extra soil in our offices. Our old «steam cleaner» guy would leave our carpets pretty wet yet the soil was no longer able to come completely clean. Glen, without soaking our carpets, got them completely clean!!! That did it – we were sold! OxiFresh is now the only carpet cleaner we would ever use in our own home and we have been confidently referring them to our clients ever since. We recommend without reservation!

I’ve used Oxi Fresh at two different homes in San Diego, the results were great both times! Old stains came right out, and I really like the fact that this company is greener that some of the other options out there. Excellent customer service as well. I’ll definitely be calling them again next time I need carpet/​furniture cleaning.

I am a clean freak, and «green» momma with 2 little kids, and a dog. I did a lot of research on the best non-​toxic carpet and upholstery cleaning. I chose to give Oxi Fresh a try, and boy, I am so glad I found them! I have now used them a few times, and will never use anyone else. I can usually get an appointment fairly quickly, and I really trust the fabulous owner Glen. Once he sent his worker Willie, and he was great, as well. They are so fast, friendly, and thorough. I love how clean they get my microfiber couch. Give them a try, you won’t regret it.

I just bought a new house with awful, old carpet and because of the investment I wasn’t able to get the new carpet I had hoped for. The stairs in my place looked terrible. The tile and grout have had more than 30 years of use. It was a lot of work to have them save it, And they did.
Willy took a lot of time to make my place look amazing. I was sure there was no way to save the carpets, but they look so good! I’m so happy with all of the work Oxi Fresh has done.

I called that day and they fit me into the schedule at the time i required. Brian showed up exactly on time with a call ahead to let us know he was on his way. He was very nice, warm & friendly and professional. He did a fantastic job and showed us some results. The carpets and chair looks amazing and smells very nice now! I will use them again for sure. They are professional, considerate of your time and friendly! After removing stains and carefully cleaning carpets and couches, Glen returned the same day to remove a gum spot that I had forgotten to show to him, free of charge. His prices are very competitive and worth every penny. Will call them again and again!

Having had mixed results with other local carpet cleaning companies, it gives me pleasure to write a 5 star review as a result of my recent experience with Oxi Fresh of San Diego. Besides offering more than fair pricing for their services, I was impressed when Glen showed up earlier (10 min) than my scheduled appt time and called to say that he was on site. He then proceeded to perform a thorough and professional job all the while being friendly and engaging, without slowing down the process. The end result was the best carpet cleaning I’d had in a long time and a convert to Oxi Fresh!

First, I called them and I was on hold for such a long time even their recording claimed my call would be answered within few minutes. Got frustrated, got online and set up an appointment for a week later. Nothing earlier was available. Time was important for us because we moved and our furniture and carpets needed immediate attention. Day before the appointment lady with the local franchise called and asked me what kind of furniture we have. After I told her what we have; she said that their technician will look at it on appointment day and decide if they can do it. Because our couches have cotton in them as most all good couches do. She said that cotton couch upholstery send to SHRINK with their procedure. I said ok I understand and agreed on their technician looking at it next day.
Several hours later they called and «DECLINED» me as a customer! How can they do that? Just called ANOTHER company. They are coming TOMORROW. Stay way from these people.

My family and I have used Oxi Fresh twice now and couldn’t be happier. Their customer service is wonderful and they get the job done in a timely manner. They were able to help us out and work around our tight schedule (which ended up only being late on a Sunday). Both times we used their services they followed up to make sure we were satisfied by the end result. I will continue to use them for all our carpet and rug cleaning and ALWAYS refer them to our friends and family. 5 STARS all the way!

I had used Oxi Fresh when I lived in Northern Virginia so I used one of those mailer coupons and called to have them clean my San Diego carpets.
It’s one company nation-​wide with different franchise holders in different cities. The phone number goes to a central reservation service that then passes the reservation on to the San Diego folks.
I got a call the night before reminding me that they would he here the following day and reminding me to vacuum the carpets.
Manny and sidekick (can’t remember his name) called that they would be a few minutes late and then showed up exactly when they said they would.
They were pleasant, courteous and efficient. The process claims to be greener. I don’t know about that but the carpets don’t get as wet and the carpets look terrific. The guys left behind some spot remover and said to call if there’s any «graying» within the next two weeks.
Would I recommend Oxi Fresh? You bet.

I had a really great experience from start to finish with Oxi Fresh. The girl who answered the phone was really nice and helpful making it easy to book my appointment. Living downtown I have found some struggles in the past with other companies with directions, parking, stairs etc and I had none of that with these guys. They were extremely friendly, professional and accommodating. The service was fast and extremely thorough. I was especially pleased with the stains that came out of my crappy quality apartment rug AND my couch! I’ve never had a couch cleaned before and I LOVE it!!!

My new go to for Carpet Cleaning!
I called based on a coupon/​postcard I received in the mail. I checked out the Unilocal reviews and made an appointment. Call was handled efficiently and the lady who made the reservation was very friendly. I received a reminder email as well as a call from Glenn the evening before.
Day off — the technicians called me to reconfirm and state their ETA which was in line with the expected time.
Manny and Scott were the two technicians that came to my home. They were very friendly and polite. They did a great job cleaning my microfiber sectional and two area rugs. They took the time and steps needed to go over my high traffic areas.
I really liked how they didn’t have one of those hose systems that go through their house. They also put these shoe covers on — a small little step that shows they want to make sure they don’t track any dirt through the house.
Overall I was extremely pleased with the level of service. My sectional looks wonderful and so do the rugs. I look forward to using their services when its time to re-​clean them.

Glenn was awesome. Fast, courteous, and great results!!! Had some very stubborn pet stains that he ripped right out of the carpet with his very unique cleaning tools. Two week warranty too in the case that anything pops back up from the underlying carpet pad. Will definitely refer to friends.

after five years of dogs, roommates, and house guests, it was time for a thorough carpet cleaning. i found a coupon for oxi fresh in the newspaper, and was easily able to make a same-​week saturday appointment.
the technician did not arrive at 8a, as expected, so i called the office and found out he had called in sick. luckily, the owner of the franchise was able to come out and get things spic and span.
the pet stains were lightened and removed, the high-​traffic stairs became stain-​free, and overall, my condo feels a lot cleaner and prettier. :) the cleaning took about an hour, and was dry within a few hours (took longer than usual because he was extra thorough with the stains, and went over them several times).
i paid $ 125 for two bedrooms, a hallway, and a set of stairs (anything less than 16 steps).
i would definitely have oxi fresh return.

Hello.
This has nothing to do with their services, but I would like to file a complaint since the «Contact Me» section isn’t functional on their website. Anyway, I was driving SB on the 15 between 5:40 — 5:45 today (Wed. 7÷3÷13) and was cut off on the freeway by whomever was in the Oxi-​Fresh vehicle with license plate # OXI SD9. They not only cut me off once on the freeway, but TWICE upon exiting on University Ave going EB! If I’d been cut-​off once, I probably would’ve shrugged it off, but it happened TWICE and I’m 4 months pregnant! Thank goodness my 3 year-​old wasn’t in the car, too. Please remind your workers to be mindful drivers! Thank you!
