I’ve been using Palace Detailing for nearly a year now and am always happy with how my car turns out. Not only do they do a great job on my car, they also pick up and drop off within Downtown for free. My schedule gets pretty hectic on the weekdays, so this service is invaluable to me. Thank you Joe + team for always taking great care of my GTI :)

I read the reviews and spoke to some coworkers and all of them agree that Joe and his Team perform at a high level. They focus on the customer needs and not on the sale. They are very objective and take the time to explain the product, the process and recommendations without pushing a sale.
I used their pickup and delivery service in the downtown area and would use again and again.
Prices are very competitive and their products and end results are top notch.

Joe and his team did an incredible job on both of my cars! In particular, I have a VW Golf that survived a cross country trip with dogs as well as a few coffee spills here and there… the car now looks brand new!

I’m am very particular about the cleanliness of my car, and how it’s done. I have had colleagues get their cars done and the result was astonishing! After multiple trips to legoland, pumpkin patches and disneyland my car had seen better days. I desperately hit Unilocal for the best car washes in the area. Many of the ones suggested I visited in the past and my car came back with mediocre results (they said if I wanted a good job I would need a detail for 200 bucks.) When I saw Palace offered a complete wash for a more than reasonable price I was sold. When I got my car back I thought they had made a mistake and gave me a full detail! My car was spotless! convenient and customer service is amazing. Owner treats each car like its his own! Excellent job Palace!

I would give this place more stars if I could! Had my car in for a wax last week, Joe and his team made her look brand new! Still looks clean a week later with a little rain! Fabulous job. And the icing on the cake so to speak is that they offer free pick up and drop off service for cars in the downtown area. I was a little bummed when I moved to another building downtown and no longer had the Palace team easily accessible, but with this service I can keep my car looking pristine with no effort! They do door-​to-​door service and are accommodating to my busy schedule during my work day. They have a great attention to detail and are always willing to take care of specific needs (scratches, residues or other things that may ail your car). Palace Detailing is the perfect place to take your car for a quick hand wash. I only got a car wash and water spot removal on my windshield, so my review will not reflect any of the other services provided.
It’s difficult to find a person who knows how to properly wash a car without damaging the paint work, but Joe definitely knows his stuff and took great care of my car! Usually in an area like Downtown San Diego, you’re stuck between machine washes that leave horrible swirl marks in your paint, or super expensive mobile detailers that you need to book a week in advance. Palace Detailing is the perfect balance of price, convenience, and quality of service.
The owner, Joe, is not just some guy who bought car soap and calls himself a «detailer». He knows his products well, has great attention to detail, and always made it clear that his number one priority is customer satisfaction. He took my car in on short notice and did a full wash in less than an hour by himself! For the price paid and the time taken to complete my car, I was extremely satisfied with how it turned out.
I will definitely be returning for more maintenance washes, and will probably try out a full detail soon!

Joe and Alex did such a great job on my car! It’s never looked better and Joe was even able to get off some paint transfer that I thought I was going to need to get buffed out. Joe, the business owner, is super friendly and helpful and was totally willing to accommodate my busy schedule. I’ve already referred someone else to him and plan to take my fiancé’s car in to get detailed too. These guys do a great job and you won’t be disappointed!

I usually do my own car washes/​detail but sometimes I get really busy or just really lazy. I always walk past this place and decided to give it a try. My car is Opt-​coated so it does not need a lot of work to get it clean.
I arrived one morning but no one was there! I had to call the owner. Took a little less than 10 minutes before the guy showed up. Sucks because I was a little late to work. I just get the basic service since it was not that dirty. The guy called me a little under the hour that the car was finished.
The car came out fairly well. There was a couple of spots missed and the rims were not perfect but it’s okay. I got the basic service so I was not expecting miracles. I would rate the service 3 stars and an extra star for the owner going the extra mile. He insured me they’re not always perfect but they will fix it. He is an example of a great small business owner.

I have nothing but good things to say about Palace. Joe did a great job of making my car look perfect. My car was looking a little haggard from the road, but they had it looking like it came out of the showroom in no time. Joe is definitely a professional. Not only did he do a great job getting my car looking brand new, he also gave tips on how to keep it that way. I will definitely be returning, can’t recommend them enough.

Palace Detailing is awesome! Not only do they know the automobile detailing business but they are superior in customer service also! I showed up unexpectedly on a Friday afternoon. My car was ok on the outside but I desperately needed it cleaned on the inside. (Dog hair, sand, etc) They took the time to clean the inside of my car including my floor mats. I will definitely be back with my other cars! Thank you Palace Detailing!

I really enjoy frequenting small businesses. Small business owners just have so much more passion and desire to do good work compared to a mega-​corporation where you are just a number to an employee who doesn’t want to be there.
Joe, owner at Palace Detailing, is a perfect example. He answers his phone, he is courteous, he is helpful and honest and promises that you are satisfied with his work. He did a great job detailing a car I am selling, and I’m confident the car will show better and I’ll get a better price because it looks renewed.

Owner Joe did a FANTASTIC job on our car — and given how trashed it was looking, this man must be capable of miracles. I don’t even want to know what mysterious, oozy substances made the stains on the seats — courtesy of my 6– and 9-​year olds, probably — but no matter, they are GONE! Seriously felt like I was getting a new car back!

Joseph did a superb job with the interior detail of my car! With pups and nephews trashing my car, I left it up the professionals to take care of and I was not disappointed! Joseph hooked it up with a handwash and she shines like new. Stepping into my car was a great experience, just like when I drove her off the lot.

I have two kids that feel that my car is the perfect place to leave crumbs, dirt, sand and anything else that will make the back seat look trashed. Add in a white Labrador and my car is a mess, no matter how much I try for it not to be. I took it to Joe and his crew yesterday and I can not believe the car that I picked up. 100% free of all things child and dog. Not a single pesky white hair to be found. They performed a miracle. In addition to the cleaning, they were able to remove a giant scratch that I had along the side of my car– a scratch that I was given a $ 100 quote to have removed. Joe and his crew were just able to buff it out and didn’t charge me any additional fees.
Today, I brought in my truck– a truck that is the mover of all things dirt– compost, mountain bikes, camping and sports equipment. Again, I picked up a clean clean CLEAN automobile. I will be bringing both cars in more often to get this service done– since I can’t figure out a way to drive my children without them leaving dirt, sand and grass in the car!
