We have fresh breads (rolls, baguettes) every morning. We also have pastries, croissants, ham n cheese croissants, dinner rolls. Vietnamese sandwiches are the must try!
Love this place! Good customer service! Great, fresh bread. Went to Minhkys down the street for lunch and saw the sign for this bakery. Decided to check it out. Yes when I immediately walked in, my eyes almost popped out my head. There was so much stuff to look at, snacks and the variety of breads. And the workers were very nice explaining what everything was. Walked out of there with a roll, coconut bread, dried pork bun and bao bun. Wanted more, but had to stop myself. Will definitely be back!

Here for the first time and it’s a CASHONLY place which wasn’t a probably not sure if it’s because I don’t speak the language(which I’m Asian myself) but the lady seem frustrated and rude!!! She seem quiet nice to the other Vietnamese people. Sad that people can’t be treated the same!

I’m glad they changed locations. It’s a lot bigger than it used to be! I remember when this place used to be in a smaller area in front of Hoover! This was my go to sandwich spot! It’s not the same anymore, but I do prefer this than most sandwich shops in City Heights.

I think my low rating is due to the shame on me card. Wasn’t sure what to order so I thought I was getting a sweet filled pastry, it turn it to be sausage which was very greasy. Also I ordered the pork bun which is normally filled with BBQed pork, this was filled with the same greasy sausage as mentioned previously. The baguette was very good(we bought this before at Bud’s). I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Really cute desserts and food. Especially if you like taking photos of food for instagram. But service is good and enjoyable atmosphere.

Nothing impresses the ladies more than a guy with a big baguette… except maybe a big baguette stuffed with Zappos gift certificates. I had gone to large market for bread earlier in the week, and it was rock hard the next day. So I stopped by here on a whim and found they had amazingly huge French loaves for a whole 5 quarters. Dr. Atkins would be horrified!

I had a FRESH croissant with ham and cheese at Paris bakery this morning and it was without a doubt the BEST I have EVER had! No joke! Delicious. Warm, fresh, huge, inexpensive-amazing!

OK, warning, «Addiction Alert»!! I have been frequenting Paris for the past month. Baguettes to die for. Pastries(coconut with raisons is my favorite), ham & cheese sandwich, whole coconut with jello is my granddaughter’s fav. Super friendly service and I’ve never had to wait. With Paris prices you can go daily:)

The wait can sometimes be a bit long, depending on what you ordered and what time you come in, other then that this bakery doesn’t have much for me to say about besides, they have good Asian sweets and baguettes. My usual is for breakfast asking for a scrambled egg baguette, they usually don’t have trouble making it for me and it’s always fresh, prices are affordable, nothing to crazy.

Went to get some bread and ice coffee. We came into the place they did help us right away, but when we got our ice coffee. It wasn’t even a full complete drink. It looked like someone drank my coffee The plaza parking sucks a lot. The other business owners in that plaza are rude as hell.

5 stars for the baguettes, best I’ve had since living in France. They open at 5:00am, charge $ 1.25 per baguette and they are fresh every 30 minutes until close. While there, have a Banh mi sandwich on one of their fresh baguettes, for $ 3.50 a sandwich you may have just found the best deal in town!

Great breads. Yummy banh mi and awesome price($ 3.50 for a sandwich, add extra meat for $ 1.00). So far, my fav are banh mi ba chi(pork belly) and banh mi thit nuong(grilled pork). Ham & cheese croissants are good & fresh too. Perfect place for my morning drive

***I’m giving this place a 4.5 stars*** I’ve been here for over three times already and I may have found my new favorite banh mi place! I was never into banh mi in the past because some Vietnamese bakeries are very inconsistent about their food prep methods. Paris Bakery’s banh mi on the other hand always has the right amount of flavor to their sandwiches and their toasted and fresh bread just hits the spot. The only cons I have for this place is that it’s located in this sketchy/small shopping complex lol and that it can be stuffy inside during the warmer days. But other than that, I’m still going to go here for my usual order(#3 — Grilled Chicken Banh Mi).

I am soooooo lucky to live nearby this spot! As a true European bread fanatic, I have been looking around to find my perfect loaf in the city. However, it wasn’t that easy as I thought it would be. Vons and other regular chains would have daily ”fresh” bread that taste very chemical. I also tried stores such as Sprouts and Trader Joes, but found out that the consistency of their breads were way too hard(broke almost my tooth). I also gave some Mediterranean stores, but it was all on the weak side. Paris Bakery has some of the most authentic breads around here. The name of the Bakery is well chosen, because when I make my sandwich at home, It feels like I am biting in a piece of France.

Pretty damn good sandwich!!! The bread is soft inside and a crunchy outside. I had a few since moving to San Diego and bread was always too soft and soggy. But this place bread is on point.

Love their bahn mi, except there is very little meat inside. If they charge another quarter or fifty cents to make their sandwiches meaty like A Chau’s then this wud totally be the spot for bahn mis. I LOVE their bread sooooooo bomb. Last time tho, we ordered 3 sandwiches & our breads weren’t as fresh, but nonetheless their breads’ the best in town. Wished they made Springrolls/Summer rolls more often. Usually all gone when we get there.

My family loves their baguettes. Every time I head down to see them, they always call me up to stop by here so I can pick up a baguette or four along with some Cha. It’s a steal buying the items separately as opposed to going to a place like Kay’s sandwiches and buying their sandwiches. For a baguette, it’ll cost you $ 1.25 and it’s probably equivalent to 3 banh mi baguettes. Then the cha will cost you around $ 4 or 5 dollars. I can’t quite remember the exact price, but if you’re a hungry hungry hippo, I’d swing by here and buy the stuff to make your own banh mi for more bang for your buck. Also, an advantage of getting it here is that you can make it whenever you want. The cha will stay in the fridge for a week and still be ok. I don’t know how safe it would be to eat banh mi that’s been in the fridge for a week, but that’s just me. Last note: CASHONLY!

Randomly found this place while looking for parking for another sandwich shop. Excellent sandwiches and service. Also the sandwiches are cheap for what you get. Definitely ready to try their other sandwiches on my next visit. Oh, and their Vietnamese coffee! Outstanding.

Love this place. Their milk tea is better than most, I like that I can taste the perfect blend between the tea and«the milk,» for a lack of better phrasing. The staff is pretty friendly, and their sandwiches are made quick and delicious :) My favorite is the chicken sandwich, so definitely check that out. I docked a star because it was«cash only.» Overall, definitely a place I would frequent.

What a gem! Excellent and cheap bahn mi sammies(I order the chicken & hubby loves the #1 «special,» which features an amalgam of unknown meats – we don’t ask questions). Their house made bread is outstanding. We’ve also enjoyed their croissants, madeleines, and some of their speciality bakery items. Friendly and efficient service. Love how they’re always serving up different things in the case(I recommend trying the green coconut croissant thingy if it’s available).

This place is fantastic. I am so glad to find it in San Diego. I dont live in San Diego myself but I do go down there quite often to visit my sister, and when I’m in the area I like to go here for my sandwich and coffee fix. They have big selections of banh mi, desserts, teas, and other vietnamese goodies. I heard their breads are baked fresh everyday and the food is cooked to order. Havn’t tried the food yet but I’m looking forward to it on my next visit. Prices are very affordable. A great place for grap-and-go food. Yummy in the tummy that doesnt ding your wallet. The Banh Mi Cali of San Diego!!! Service is always great and fast. Love it! Easy five stars.

Was driving east on El Cajon Blvd. heading out for some Phở when the Grand Opening banner caught my eye. I stopped by and was pleasantly surprised to see that Paris Bakery had expanded their operation to this new location. They provide the Baguettes to many Banh Mi sandwich shops in San Diego. The service is great the selection is very good and then value is fantastic. A Combo Banh Mi a foot long with ¾ of pound of meat and toppings for under $ 5.00. A number of store owners came in to buy 1 — 4 dz. baguettes freshly baked while I was sitting there. There is a nice selection of hot food on a serving line with a wide selection of hot and cold blended drinks. They offer quality and value with excellent customer service. I will be back.
