Paul Mitchell The School

I was pleased with my hairdo. I have long hair and I was told I should come by around 630 pm because it would take awhile. I was advised by the student that she was not given my ticket till 7pm. The receptionist informed me the girl was lying and told me she gave it to her at 630 pm. This became a 2.5 hour process. When I suggested that they communicate better next time and its about customer service to work together. I was told to go somewhere else if I didnt like being seated late and no one told me to rush over. I was told on two different phone conversations that I should come over at 630 pm. I dont appreciate the receptionist being rude and telling me to go to a blow dry bar when I made a suggestion about not calling the girl a liar and fixing their break down in communication. Thank you for that suggestion I would rather spend more money where the receptionists are nicer.

This one goes for the school. When I enrolled there a couple years back, they told me I was fully covered for financial aid. However, I had a mental breakdown, personal stuff, I was only three weeks in. Next, they told me it was in my best interest to take a 45 day leave, so I did. However, they were supposed to save me a spot, never did either. Next they tried to retain up to $ 6,000 of my tuition, or it will go to collections. Come to find out, they didn’t even submit my application to enroll there. According to FAFSA, they had no record of me even enrolling in any school. Comes to show who they want and don’t want in their school. Superficial if you ask me. I would watch out.

I was a student at Paul Mitchell the School (san diego), and I will say that it was the best decision of my life. I moved over 1000 miles to go there and it was worth it. Currently I do booth rent at «Shannel and Company» a salon in point loma and I’ve been out of school for six months. I honestly feel ready for anything. Relaxer, perm, double process, disconnected hair cuts you name it. I can do it, thanks to Paul Mitchell the School. Although, this school is not easy!!!
AS FOR THE GUESTS: I would recommend taking full advantage of the Phase II. would also recommend getting a «beauty ritual» they are only 5 bucks and its basically a 15 min scalp message. Also Please tip your hard working lil girls and boys. They work hard (some of them) all day long and usually leave with about10 dollars :(
