PLC’s mission is simple: connecting people to Jesus and one another. We are a Lutheran church who is affiliated with LCMC (Lutheran Churches in Missions for Christ). 2016 Summer Worship Schedule: Sundays at 9:00 & 10:45 am and Sunday nights at 6:00 pm. During the school year there is Sunday School for all ages. We offer the ALPHA program at least twice a year along with ALPHA-​affiliated courses covering relevant topics such as money, marriage & parenting in addition to a Bible basics course. Our children’s ministries are alive and well, with many opportunities for our young ones to grow in their faith. From music to missions, there are numerous ways for people to get connected in this down-​to-​earth, welcoming church family. PLC is a congregation comprised of active young families to vibrant seniors. There’s something for everyone at PLC!

If you have searched for a genuine, friendly and dynamic church, THIS IS THE ONE.
Biblical, dedicated to the community, diverse, friendly people everywhere, everything from kids to seniors. The worship team has changed to a more «happy clap» format. Louder, more repetitive, less harmonic. It has lost the musical excellence it once had. If that floats your worship boat, go for it. However, programs for kids and youth are very well run. They even offer the seeker sensitive «Alpha» program for free.
Don’t be put off by the «Lutheran» brand like I was. This church is closer to many non-​denominational churches but with MORE SUBSTANCE. If you can get on I-​15, you will be there in 15 minutes. Worth the trip!

Penasquitos Lutheran Church is full of genuine caring people. I have never felt so cared for and accepted. The pastors are wonderful. There are many programs for the whole family to increase the knowledge of how much God loves us all!
