Plaza de Panama

You would think that after restricting access to cars they would have done a little bit more then just throw some tables, chairs, and planters down. It’s just has so much potential and all we got was this large concrete square with nothing in it. Too bad those assholes stole all that city money to pay for trips to Spain for the centennial celebration and now there’s nothing to show for it.
Go politicians!

I like how they converted this area back to a plaza. I like the tables so one can get a snack at one of the many hidden coffee shops and sit outside. Handicap parking is farther away but not to bad. The plaza is a lot better than the parking lot that was formerly here. It felt like a mall with people fighting for a space.

Really great area to stroll now. No parking for cars anymore! So nice to look around and not worry about speeding cars running you down. They have added tables with umbrellas and chairs! So nice to people watch and look at the fountain. Come sit and relax!
