Premier Dental

We’ve been coming here for almost 7 years. My husband desperately needed to see a dentist and put it off until he was in extreme pain. My husband ended up falling asleep during a root canal. Staff was honest about what was up, expectations, costs, and referrals as needed (yeah, hubby’s teeth were that bad!).
Obviously, we’ve been going to Dr. Nguyen for about 7 years. I’ve had some work done, mostly just the annuals (thanks genetics!). He’s up to date on random issues that have plagued me and my family — pregnancy and menstrual gingivitis, the red-​head gene (MC1R), and premature children and their teeth.
My two kids have been coming for check-​ups since they each got their first teeth. Dr. Nguyen is who I refer my mom friends to for second opinions when they get outrageous care plans for kids, because he’s honest and doesn’t recommend unnecessary work. He’ll tell you straight up what is needed and timelines.
After reading this back to my loving husband, he corrected my first paragraph. My husband’s fallen asleep during multiple root canals. Husband wanted me to mention that he’s great with kids.

It was my first time going to this dental office today. Dr. Nguyen was very thorough and meticulous when he did a deep cleaning and a filling for my teeth. I always feel uneasy seeing a dentist, but I was not as anxious with Dr. Nguyen because he provided all necessary information and was gentle during the process. Although this was my first visit, I could tell that he really cares about his patients. I’m glad to have found a reliable dentist in San Diego. His assistant is really nice too. Will definitely come back in the future!

Jon is great! I love coming here. First dentist in a very long time I could trust! I had a chipped front tooth that had been fixed by someone previously before I started coming here but I chipped it again and he was able to fix no problem. I also got my braces done here, great price I couldn’t pass up. He well informed me of the process and how long it would take. It was not bad at all. I definitely recommend Jon to all my friends looking for a dentist.

Dr. Jonathan Nguyen is fantastic!!! His dental care is top notch. He’s very good at explaining things to us and is exceptional our 2 young boys.
We still use him after relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada.
I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I have been driving to this dental office for the past 8 years for twice a year visits. I lived in San Diego many years but even after moving back towards LA/​OC, I still make the trip to see Dr. Jonathan Nguyen. He is very gentle with my teeth. My kids love him too. He always takes the time to explain everything and keeps us all calm because we tend to get anxious when we go to the dentist. Dr. Nguyen’s front desk staff is very nice and accommodating too! I highly recommend this dental office!
