Protech Complete Auto Care has been in the automobile field for over 16 years. We started in Spring Valley and then moved our business to San Diego’s City Heights area. We specialize in brakes, smog, and transmissions for both foreign and domestic cars.

We have the knowledge and skills required to service and repair your vehicle and provide quality customer care. We do our best to get the job done right the first time, but just in case, we offer all our customers a 6 month/6,000 mile warranty.

Financing is also available for our customers and we charge no interest if the balance is payed within 90 days.

Just wonderful. I’m from Texas and expected to run into allot of shady places here in SD, but John is the man! His helper Josh I think his name was, is just as wonderful. I’ll be going back before I leave the state in November for sure. Thanks so much guys!

Nasser was very helpful and checked my car very well, topped off the fluids and checked the tire pressure. He even replaced some screws that were missing for the plastic undertray under my car.

John (the owner) is always amazing. I call him anytime I need to get things done with my car and he is able to fit me in. I drive all the way from Santee to get an oil change because the service is so great. He showed me that mice were nesting in my engine and cleaned the nest out for me. He also showed me how to keep the mice out of my engine. Another visit he fixed my tires and pointed to a place he recommends to get a used one since he said I didn’t need a new one (the tire shop was only a few buildings down). They are always so helpful. They even help me back out on to University since it’s such a busy street. The owner does his research and makes sure that they are the lowest price in town.

Shop is small in the middle of Rolando neighborhood. Faces street, has about 3 – 4 bays. Went there for a smog check, cheapest coupon price in the county that I could find. Arrived around 8am on a Saturday morning, owner arrived as I did. He opened up shop, offered me a seat, got my smog check done in about 30 minutes. The seating area is tiny and while the chairs are clean and comfortable, this place is not for the faint of heart. They have a coffee machine, but don’t make coffee because the owner drinks only tea. Otherwise, Nasser, the owner, is very polite and offers you great deals to return for additional repairs. I’m heading back to get an axle replaced, since I didn’t replace a boot before the CV joint went back. But he’s offering a good deal, so there we go.

This is the best option for complete Auto maintenance in SD. I go hear for all of my auto basic fixes and fillups. They can probably handle anything but I havent had any issues yet to ask. Nassar is a great guy and will give you all the info you need to know and doesnt upsell you or offer stuff you dont need. He treats you like he would want to be treated. Though the part of town isn’t the classiest, I am wiling to go wherever as long as the customer service and pricing is top notch. Check him out for yourself!
