Quest Diagnostics

My appointment was for 7 in the morning. The staff just opened the door and got me signed in right away and before I knew it, it was all taken care of.
This has been a very efficient and fast service!
The parking is fairly easy on the street level, behind the building.

Really easy process.
Made an appointment online.
Convenient location in UTC.
Parking garage underneath the building. Quest will validate. Ample guest parking spots on L2.
Take the elevator up to the first floor and walk to office 180.
Skipped all of the people ahead of me since I had an appointment.
Signed in and got called in immediately.
Lady was really nice and took my blood quickly.
Done and on with my day.

The one time I came here, I was the only one in the waiting room besides one other woman. Because of this, I figured I would be in and out within 10 minutes. But no. I sat and waited for almost an hour! I think that’s a little ridiculous considering there is only one other woman in the room. The woman that was running the place was super nice, but unbelievably slow with paperwork and getting through patients. I’m not going back here again.

Peggy was very courteous and professional. I admire how she could handle the entire place by herself. She was helping someone when my mom and I came in but she acknowledged us right away and said that she would be there in a moment. When it was finally my turn to be helped, she asked if I was scared of blood. I was, so she offered to lie me down instead of sitting me up. Fortunately, my phobia wasn’t that bad so she didn’t have to do that. I thought it was nice, though, that she asked. Before we left, she gave us validated parking tickets even though we didn’t ask for them. So we left the parking garage without paying a cent. Peggy was awesome!

My work offers a discount on my medical premiums if I meet certain biometric criteria like healthy blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. so I headed to Quest to get poked and prodded. Several companies offer programs like this and contract through Quest so if you need to go here are some FYI’s:
— Making an appointment was easy on their website; they had availability as soon as the next day and they also offer walk-​ins.
— They DO validate the underground garage parking so no need to park hella far away like I did to avoid paying.
— They are closed for lunch from 11:30 — 12:30. I had to be fasting for my appointment at 1pm and couldn’t hold out anymore so I went early; I was more than sad when they were closed and I still had to wait.
— There is only one nurse working/​managing the entire center so don’t be alarmed if no one is at the front. She was super nice and drew my blood like a pro with as little pain is as possible when getting stuck with a needle.
All in all not a bad experience and now I’m just looking forward to getting my discount on health care, woot!
