Reiki Power of Touch

Emmy is incredible. I started going to her a little over a year ago. I searched for reiki practitioners in San Diego and came across her website and reviews. I went in with no expectations, as I had never received reiki before. I left feeling so much better. She’s amazing. She not only is great with her energy work but she is also so enlightening. She really cares about you and wants to get to know about you. I have told my family and friends they need to go see her!

Emmy is very kind, a good listener, and great energy. I enjoyed our session and felt very relaxed and peaceful afterwards. She has a healing aura and gentleness about her.
Negative is that the room she has her sessions in is overcrowded with storage items and filing cabinets and not feng shui at all. Was distracting to me as energy work needs to be in an environment void of clutter and other unnecessary materials. Also, room was not very quiet (spare room in her apartment) ~ influx of street noise and traffic which was distracting during the session.
If you’re not a stickler for feng shui or concerned about quietness or clutter, then you’ll enjoy your session.

Emmy is amazing. I have been working with her for several months and she goes above and beyond to help me understand myself and ask me the hard questions I need to answer in order to grow. I started seeing her in what I consider the darkest time in my life and the results have truly been a miracle.
The sessions are very healing and I can literally feel the energy flow through my body as she does her work. Can’t say enough good things. I strongly recommend her to anyone who wishes to heal their life.

Emmy is so lovely. After receiving reiki from her I felt both relaxed and rejuvenated and could not wait for our next meeting. Her presence and wise words also helped me overcome a particularly difficult situation in my life that i had a hard time facing on my
own. She also gave me great resources and suggestions (Readings, Meditation techniques, etc.) to take home, which I loved… Emmy is a kind, warm, and gifted healer who I totally recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful reiki session!

Emmy is wonderful. After seeing Emmy for a month and a half, I’ve seen a lot of personal development happen for myself, and I think Emmy would agree. I’ve been able to be honest with myself and ask myself the difficult questions which I was avoiding for almost a year.
Emmy really cares about her clients. The first few times I came in she listened to me for over an hour because I had so many emotions clogged up. She is very patient and is very knowledgeable about metaphysical perspectives. Our meetings always helped to shed light on the challenging situations I’ve been working to overcome.
It was very easy scheduling my first appointment with her and she is very flexible when scheduling follow up appointments. Overall, a great experience!

I can not say enough about Emmy as a Reiki practitioner. She helped me get through a very tough and dark period. Seeing her has improved not only my digestion, but also my emotional stability. I often tell friends she saved my life as it was such a dark time and I recommend her to friends who are anxious, depressed, and for anything and everything. She is truly amazing.

In October 2012, my husband and I went to a Vision Board aka Treasure Mapping workshop hosted by a Reiki Master, Emmy Martinez. After creating our vision boards, she led us through a special meditation and we took our vision boards home. On my vision board I put the phrase «Dream Home» and «Breathing Space» and some phrases related to business success. And I included photos of some beautiful home environments and travel destinations.
At the time, my husband, daughter, and I were living in a small, cramped 900sq foot house in a not-​so-​great neighborhood that felt way too small for us, especially considering that we both worked from home, but it was exactly within our means. We had lived there for 10 years, I was pretty hopeless about ever moving and I was worried that my daughter would have to attend the poorly rated neighborhood schools.
Flash forward a month… a relative randomly asked us if she could GIVE us her RV to keep and we soon did a family road trip to the Sedona mountains just like in my vision board photo. Within eight months, my business was up by 30% compared to years before. Then, my husband accepted a new job offer as a sales manager. And due to some crazy lucky circumstances, we got an amazing deal and just purchased and moved into a lovely, 4 bedroom home in the hills of Point Loma with a big pool in the back for my daughter. The neighborhood schools are some of the best public schools around. So, needless to say, I’m a big fan of Vision Boards and Emmy’s vision board workshop!

Like a couple of other reviewers, I didn’t really know what Reiki was until I met Emmy. I was speaking with a friend and she recommended I try Reiki, so of course I went straight to Unilocal,which is how I found Emmy!
I found Emmy at a time in my life where I was feeling completely disconnected. I didn’t feel like I could connect to anyone or anything. Passion was gone. My energy was blocked and I loathed my day-​to-​day life. Emmy not only helped me find what areas I need to focus on, she basically let me throw up all my emotional junk on her too! She’s was both Reiki practitioner and spiritual counselor for me.
Basically, the Universe lead me to Emmy at a time in my life where I needed her desperately, and I truly appreciate her… and whether your ailments are physical or spiritual, I think Emmy will help you find your way.

I didn’t really know what exactly Reiki was, but I figured I’d be adventurous and give it a shot. Emmy did a good job preparing me for the session, and explaining the general idea of how Reiki works. Without really knowing what Emmy does, I will say I felt really great after the treatment. I was very relaxed and after the appointment, I slept well that week. Also, on occasion I do get headaches, but I haven’t had one since I’ve been to her. Thank you for your positive energy, Emmy!

Tried Reiki for the first time and had the most amazing experience. Emmy Martinez is extremely gifted. I did not know anything about Reiki, so I was a bit skeptical, but I have to tell you that it is truly amazing. I have really bad anxiety (heart racing/​shortness of breath) from time-​to-​time and this just happen to be one of those days so it was really nice to walk out of there without a sign of anxiousness after the treatment.
I also love that Emmy took the time to explain to me what Reiki is all about and even gave me a great stress-​busting breathing technique that I can do anytime in my office as a bonus!
