We have moved 3 times in the past year (eek!!) And honestly, these guys were the absolute best. Reliable Man came to our rescue when we suddenly had to vacate our apartment, and only had a 30 day notice to get out. They made what could have been a stressful nightmare of a move into an incredibly smooth and stress-​free experience.
Our movers (both out of our apartment and into our new house) were timely, careful, warm and friendly. They took extreme care with each piece of furniture, while still executing a fast and polished move. They also provided high quality storage of our items while we searched for our new home.
I could not be happier and more satisfied with Reliable Man, and will be recommending them to all my friends and family members.

Great company! I went from San Diego to LA. The guys were wonderful, moved everything quickly an efficiently. Made the move as easy as possible. The final price was about $ 300 more than the quote which would be the only downside.

The two gentleman that did my move were on time, extremely kind, and went out of their way to make things easy for me. They got my belongings moved from Little Italy to La Jolla very quickly and with no damages. I wasn’t stressed at any point in the move on account of how professional they were. I will be recommending this company to anyone needing moving services.

Amazing moving company! And when they say no hiding fees they’re are not kidding!!! They arrived on time and got to work right away! The young men when respectful, and had good work ethic. They were careful with fragile items and made sure to ask me where I wanted my items places once delivered. I will be using them again on my next move!

Robert and Carlos moved my 86-​year-​old mother from North County San Diego to Los Angeles, and I don’t think either one of us would have made it through the day without them. It was a long, hot day that started at 8:30am and ended at 7pm, but their energy never flagged. They were fast, organized, careful and just the nicest guys you could ever want to meet; they really alleviated the stress of the day, and by the time it was all done, I felt like I was saying goodbye to my two brothers.

Excellent work. We used this company on July 11, 2015. The team with Adam, Mike, Lil Rob and Angel were the best team of movers we ever encounter. They loaded and unloaded our stuff in record time with care and professionalism. We were so impressed. No time wasted. We learned from them how to care for our floors and furniture! Yes, that good. Hugely excellent move… and I’ve done a lot of them. Couldn’t be in town to move my girlfriend, so I was really nervous to hire a moving company that I couldn’t supervise. Not only were they extremely reasonably priced compared to some of the competition, they were absolutely amazing. They showed up, did all the packing, furniture disassembly, and moving in just a few hours. Despite their speed, they were very careful. They made my girlfriend feel completely at ease and were professional and friendly. I was worried about hiring movers «by the hour» thinking they would just move slowly and raise the price, but that concern was immediately alleviated. Robert and Jay were the crew members and they were outstanding in every way. Highly highly recommend.

Great Company! The easiest move I’ve ever made :-) Went from San Diego to Arizona, The guys packed and loaded everything in a few hours and delivered to my new place the next day. Couldn’t have possibly gone any smoother. And the guys were great, actually made moving fun :-)

We had recently (May 2015) used Reliable Man Movers to relocate from La Mesa to La Jolla. Since we accumulated a number of large items over the years — king and queen beds, dressers, futon, treadmill, patio furniture, sofas, etc. — the move was well beyond what we could do on our own or would want to impose on our friends.
We had an excellent three-​man team consisting of Paul, Adam and Robert. All three were helpful, friendly and courteous. They handled our items with great care and helped us get everything into the right place. Given the complexity of the move (stairs, bulky items, a tight hallway), they were incredibly efficient and finished the loading/​unloading in about six hours plus 30 minutes for the drive.
My wife and I had done a number of moves over the years and Reliable Man was probably the best. Can definitely recommend them to anyone who needs to do a big move.

My wife has sold numerous houses in CA and this was the best move team she’s seen. Adam, Paul, Adrian and Marcos were fast, careful, courteous and professional throughout. It was great having someone else do our move for us! Thanks!

It was suggested to me to hire «Reliable Man Movers» through the HouseCall app on my Android. I could not be happier with the awesome job the guys did. It was pouring rain when we moved from a first floor to a THIRD floor. The three man team was able to move EVERYTHING in about 3 hours (which was 2 hours less than quoted). I was worried about my China Hutch being damaged… but they wrapped it securly and moved it without any problems. I would recommend this company to anyone! Being able to pay through the app was even better… less hassle! Thank you!

Reliable Man Movers did a FANTASTIC job with our move this morning! Terrence and Andre were very professional. These guys went out of their way to make this experience a positive one! The price was as they stated and worth every penny! Nothing broken, nothing lost! Recommend them highly!

Professional guys who do a great job moving. They wrap all your items and furniture so it’s moved safely and they were quick. Definitely would recommend them.

Stay Away! We used this company to move our furniture and boxes from one house to another… a distance that was 15 minutes on side streets. They managed to scrape and damage: our wooden coffee table, our china cabinet credenza, a slice off our glass top coffee table, our bookcase, our master bedroom bureau, wrinkled two leather pieces of furniture by shrink tape wrapping them, made an art piece hang crooked in its frame by turning it upside down (it’s a 600 dollar sealed frame that we have to bring to an art store for repair), the inside of our refrigerator has a dent when they moved it with the doors off and dented it.
Unbelievable and extremely upsetting and disappointing!
I would never use this company again and am amazed at all the damage they caused with only doing a 15 minute distance move.
If you value your possessions, stay away.

I have used Reliable Man Mover twice already and I am writing this review now because both times, they have been very professional and fast.
This move, my husband and I were moving from our apartment complex to a house. Andre and DJ were our movers and they were awesome. They arrived on time and got to work right away. They were fast and moved everything we had out of our apartment within an hour and half despite having to move the truck a couple times to let people out of parking spaces. They took extra care with all of our furniture and boxes.
They moved everything to the house and finished the job within 3 hours.
Hiring movers was such a help and so much less stressful than doing it ourselves. I would definitely hire them again if we needed to. I recommend Reliable Man Movers to anyone looking to get the job done for a good price and fast.

Moved from 3br home to 5 br home.
I used this company before and had a great experience which is why I came back to use them again. They were able to move a Big Green Egg for me which is a ceramic cooker successfully so I wanted to go with someone that knew what they were doing. I mentioned to them when I called to use their service again that this cooker was the only thing I really cared about in the house and to be very careful with it. It was even listed on the invoice so both movers knew that it was very important to me.
2 movers arrived and worked very hard. Didn’t take long breaks and got the job done. However, they dropped my Big Green Egg which essentially cracked it and making it useless. It cannot be repaired so it has to be replaced. It didn’t even move 2 inches before being broken (I have been able to move this around the backyard myself without assistance).
I am currently filing a claim with them through their insurance so hopefully this get resolves very quickly. I spoke to who I think is the owner or manager. He said to file a claim.
Here is my timeline (I will update it so you all can see how quickly or long this takes to get resolved:
August 2, 2014: Date of move
August 4, 2014: Called and spoke to Chad. He said he would call or email me the information to start filing a claim.
August 5, 2014: Sent email with receipt, pictures and information of what happened to their claims email address.
I will also update more stars to this review if this resolved to my satisfaction.
Update — August 8, 2014 — Made follow up call and spoke to Chad who I think is the manager or owner. He said I will should hear from someone later today. Let’s see…
Update — August 13, 2014 — Still not heard back from anyone. Called again this morning and sent follow up emails. Now I feel like my situation is being ignored or blown off.
