i have visited this office twice and both times were wonderful. the first time i didn’t know what to expect but i was at ease once the lady came in to tell me what would be happening. Im sorry i can’t remember names very well. maybe it was Elizabeth? she had such a great attitude and personality. The bed was comfy. i got the room with the bed that inclines head and feet. i thought that was cool… i played around with it but came to the conclusion that flat was best. the room was clean, the bathroom was clean. overall the everything was wonderful the only thing i would suggest is possibly have security as people are showing up for their appt and again in the morning as people are leaving their appt. The area is pretty dark and kinda scary when your by yourself.

I had my study done in San Diego. I was monitored and woken up to return to sleeping on my back instead of my side. I had a sleep study done at mercy hosp. They came in to wake me up because they said that sleep in on side will not give accurate results. Had another study done at rem sleep. The lady Bernadette called to reschedule sleep study. Got cpap machine when I began having problems Bernadette was no where to be found. THISPLACEIS a SCAM. They just want the insurance money.

Okay… so I just got home from REM Sleep Labs where I had a sleep study done. This all happened kind-of quick. Two weeks ago, I was at my dentist for a cleaning(thank you Dr. Fox!!!) and the receptionist gave me a survey to fill out. Well next thing I know I get this Pulse Oximetry monitor(a device for measuring the oxygen saturation in your blood) in the mail. And then from there… BAM…I end up at REM Sleep Labs. Now I’m a Nurse, but I work in an ER… I don’t know anything about this«sleep» stuff. So I had not a clue what to expect when I arrived. The building is situated just off the I-15 on Murphy Canyon Road, just off of Clairmont Mesa Blvd. It’s a nice quiet area… perfect for what they do… LOL. The building itself is pretty nice. The only detraction was the plastic taped to the floor of the elevator(I guess they were doing some work). So I arrived at about 8:20PM for my 8:30 appointment. Christina was the technician on duty. She greeted me with an awesome smile as I entered the suite. The clinic(for lack of a better term) has a centrally located work station where the technician monitors their patients, and then there are about 6 rooms where they conduct the studies. Each room has a huge bed(not sure if it was a queen or a king), not sure what kind of mattress but comfortable none the less. They have a chair, a nightstand, and a wall mount television(they have Direct TV) if ya can’t get right to sleep. There is a communal restroom(toilet and sink, no shower) close by. I would highly recommend bringing your own pillow from home as their pillows are sort of puny… LOL. Onto the study… So like I said, Christina was the technician on duty. She was very friendly and quickly had me at ease. Naturally there was the administrative stuff to take care of first, you know… the paperwork. After I changed and got comfortable, she began prepping me for my great adventure. She was very knowledgeable and explained what all the different leads were going to monitor throughout the night as she was attaching them. I was amazed at how many wires I had coming off of me when she was done… LOL. During the night, Christina was very attentive as I had to be disconnected from all my bells and whistles on a couple of occasions in order to make a pit stop. Each time she had that awesome smile of her’s on her face as she entered the room. Like I said before, I’m no expert at this sleep stuff, but if I had it all to do again… I wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you REM Sleep Labs. I’ll look forward to getting my reports. And thank you Christina… I can’t say enough good things about you.
