They are not open on Sundays. Drove over because of Unilocal info. and the info. is not correct. Replanet needs to update their online information.

The RePlanet website and Unilocal states that they open at 9:00AM… It’s 9:15AM and still no employee is here. UPDATE: Sign says they open at 10:00AM. I suggest coming early in the morning, otherwise the line can get long and you’ll end up waiting for almost an hour just to recycle. Beware: the guy who works here is grumpy as hell.

Did you know that California recycles approximately 106% of the plastic bottles sold within its borders each year? How is that possible? Fraud. Tons and Tons of plastic bottles are sent over the border from Arizona and Nevada each year in order to take advantage of California’s «bottle deposit scheme,» as I like to call it.
Every time you purchase a bottle in the our great state you pay the bottle tax deposit tax of either 5 or 10 cents, which you can redeem by turning in your bottles to an authorized recycling center. The system, however is scammed on constantly as people import bottles for illegal redemption, companies bilk the state by mis-stating weights, etc. I can’t describe how bothersome that is. One of the primary ways recycling businesses earn their money is by giving consumers less than the entire redemption value by using a system of weighing the bottles rather than counting each one individually. If you attempt to redeem more than 50 bottles of a particular type, the recycler is no longer legally bound to count each bottle individually but typically weighs them as a whole and gives you the far reduced amount derived from that weight calculation. Got it?
This rePlanet gets five stars because they have 2 machines that count each bottle INDIVIDUALLY. This allows you, the diligent recycler, to get the maximum redemption value for each bottle you’ve purchased. No strings. No cons. In an industry fraught with theft, graft, and all other manner of swindelry, all it takes is one company doing the right thing and paying people out right to get 5 stars. Thanks rePlanet Happy Recycling! –Justin

I came here with my sister and we were able to recycle most of our bottles. We were going to weigh the bottles that didn’t go through the machine, and we patiently waited for the guy who was working there to give us our mesh basket to fill it up with. Unfortunately, the customer service was shitty(excuse my language; there are no other words that could truly describe how terrible it was). We waited very patiently for the guy, since it looked like he was busy putting buckets away and what not. A couple minutes pass and my sister finally asked him if he could give us the basket and this fool RUDELY says no, along with«can’t you see I’m busy doing other stuff?» Oh yeah, he came in a couple of minutes late after his lunch break. Not our fault you were falling behind with your work. All we needed was the basket, and he could’ve simply handed it to us. My sister and I didn’t want to deal or be helped by him, so we got our bottles and left. The guy was wearing big headphones and had curly hair and a beard. Kind of scrawny and pretty tall. If you see him working there, your best bet is he won’t help you. PS I only gave this place one star because it wouldn’t give me the option of giving it a 0.

Pretty sure this is the recycling center located in the Albertsons parking lot within the same shopping center as the 7 – 11, Office Depot, and Big-o Tires… the Unilocal hours listed say it is closed today, but this is one of the few, if not only, recycling centers that is operational on a Monday. Hours are from 9:00am — 4:30pm daily with a lunch break for the workers from 1:00 — 1:30pm. If you can’t make those hours, there are also two self-serve sorting recycling machines available for use from 6am-5pm. I came here on a Monday morning around 10am and there were already two customers ahead of me and two customers already putting the self-serve machines to use. Not surprising since the location that used to be down the street in the Stater Bros parking lot is now gone. Even though it was busy I was out of there in less than 30 mins, including the trip inside Albertson’s to cash in my receipt. In sum: convenient location, nice customer service, and a great way to get rid of those bottles and cans.

They have receptacles to empty that last bit of beer or soda you forgot to rinse, and a trashcan nearby. This location is ALWAYS packed during business hours, and it’s closed on my only days off which is annoying. But I like the convenience since I shop at Albertson’s anyway, so I might as well return the few bottles I have and get 30 cents toward my purchase.

Convenient, certainly! Recycle and redeem inside the nearby grocery store! But hit and miss on the customer service and they do not have any evening hours.
