Roadone Towing

I use to work here starting off my towing career. Great place to learn how to tow and get a really hard days of work in. Respectful staff other than some upper management unprofessional remarks. everything else was in a productive professional organized manner. I would love to work for them again with either a higher pay rate for running FSP which is a freeway program they run here in San Diego. Or doing calls in rotation.

RoadOne was contacted through my roadside assistance through AT&T. Jorge was there within 15 minutes, towed my car to a nearby mechanic, and did it all flawlessly with a smile! What could have been a truly horrible situation was mitigated by his cheerful help. Thank you, Jorge and RoadOne!

When my car was recovered after being stolen I found out a day later and called the operator for this towing place. She was very rude, she asked for the VIN, so I proceed telling it to her completely. She rudely pauses me and says «just the last four digits.» By now I’m furious with her attitude that I can sense over the phone. I’m told that yes they have my beloved car in their lot. So I wait until Monday, the guy with a mustache says he will only deal with the registered owner and closes up my options. Which is stupid because I pay for the insurance and have permission to pick up the car, even the police knows that. Then he reconsiders and takes me out to see the car, which was driveable, the only damage was a cut steering wheel. I look through my belongings in the car. He tells me to hurry up and pay him in Spanish, and he also tried to tell me what to do with my car. I was feeling hostile about the whole situation and the condition of the car. The total cost was $ 384, the car was recovered on Friday December 27, 2013 at around 4:30 P. M and I picked it up Monday December 30, 2013 around 9 A.M.
The way they track the days the car spends in the lot is ridiculous and inaccurate.
Having my car towed to a wannabe high end brand towing lot was a bad experience.
I was very unfortunate to have been working when the police found the car, because I wasn’t able to pick it up in 20 minutes.
