Roger’s Auto Body & Paint

If there was a zero star, Rody Moshy would be one on top of the list awarded for it. Be warned, I am the latest victim of this shop. His BBB accreditation has been REVOKED. So don’t fall for it. Just read one of the other one star reviews. My situation is very similar to theirs (if not worse). Please at all cost do not use this shop. Will progressively up date this until the issue is resolved.

Well! My brother crashed all the good work Rogers did, my brother hit the garage once again and Rogers repaired the new damage and did a fine job While all this came down I showed Rody an area Rogers repaired on my 300 TE Mercedes 2 years ago, YIKES! Rody said bring your car in, I’ll make good and repaint your rear ¼ panel. Now I need to find the time. I’ll post a review when I can find time to drop off my 300 TE so Rody and team can fix the paint. Not many shops would do garrentee work after so many months.

Honest, inexpensice, quick and reliable. I highly recommend this place for any issues with your car. And they do not take advantage of you being a woman at all either!

I’m an idiot. Let’s just put it out there. Hit a curb in my Kia Sorrento, thought I lucked out since there was no body damage. Alas, the horrible sounds coming from my front right wheel. Took it in to Kearny Pearson Ford & Kia on Saturday where I was told I needed to take it to an auto body shop. They were closed until Monday, but said I could drive it. I live in Bay Park and have used Caliber Collision in the past. Took it to them on Monday… and when did they become too big for their past customers? Couldn’t give me an estimate until Thursday! Really? Alrighty then. Left pissed off, but got my zen on and remembered there is Roger’s Auto Body on Cass. So, drove over there, got an estimate, submitted my claim through AAA (also the Bomb!) and they started on my car by Wednesday. Rody took care of everything and Nick in the office helped get the job done as well. These guys gave me a lifetime warranty on their work, got started right away and treated me with the respect I thought I should have received from both Kearny Pearson and Caliber. I just picked up my car today. Detailed and perfect! Roger’s is the best and I will never go anywhere else again! Thank you guys!

If I could submit negative stars, I would. I got in an accident earlier last year and a Wind An Sea Tow truck witnessed my accident and so kindly stopped and hustled me into dropping my car off at Roger’s Auto Body.
The owner Rody assured me that he would get me back up and running within 2 weeks, so I decided to leave the car there and let him take care of it. I lived a couple of blocks away at the time and noticed that my car had been sitting in the same parking spot 2 weeks later with absolutely NO WORK done to it at all. I went in and asked him what was going on and he gave me some excuse about not being able to get the parts.
He assured me again it would be done in a week, mind you, only the front of the car was damaged, and that he would even touch up my rear bumper that had been damaged in a small incident that had happened before. I said alright since he was going to repair my back bumper.
Another week rolls by and the car is sitting in the same spot and it’s just been stripped of the necessary items to start the initial primers.
A year and a half later I’m getting a new paint job because my paint is chipping (because he did a shitty job), and the auto body repairmen I’m going with now tells me he JIMMY-​RIGGED THE REPAIRS and LEFT OUT MULTIPLE BRACKETS AND THE MOUNTING EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO FUNCTION PROPERLY.
This repair went through the insurance and he didn’t tell me that the car was called a complete loss and decided to charge me thousands of dollars for the repair. Unfortunately I was 19 and had no idea what I was doing so it was easy for him to take advantage of me.
ONCE AGAIN THIS GUY IS A SCAM ARTIST AND STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!

Roger’s Auto Body just did some work on my car and they did a fantastic job. Over the years I’ve had several cars need cosmetic work and I’ve always had them repaired by a nearby competitor, but never again. Roger’s work looked factory new and was head and shoulders better than any work I’ve ever had done before. Plus everyone that worked there was really friendly and helpful. They give free quotes that are quick and easy. Definitely give them a try.

Well, since others are having issues I suppose its time to write my story about this nightmare shop. I was involved in a rear ender on the 163. The shop has had my car for a year as of this review. Here are the details:
A guy named Rody Moshy owns the place. His brother owns a towing company called Wind N Sea Towing (owned by Raed Moshe) who preyed on me after an accident. The guy took advantage of my stress situation and got me to allow him to leave the car at his «friends» shop who does «great work.» That was absolutely not the case.
Fast forward 6 months later — I get a call from a private investigator — the car is not fixed and the lender cannot recover it. My lender proceeded to sue me and his shop because of his refusal to cooperate and show any progress, photos, or invoices on the car… or just return the it fixed. Apparently he just tells the attorneys how he owns and fixes bentleys blah blah… complete nonsense and totally unreasonable. Rody makes bull excuses to me in text messages
Once I finally saw the car in person… he’s been slacking and blowing my insurance company’s money. The employees knew nothing, they just told me «well it runs and just needs some paint» that was like… 3 months or so ago! The receptionist said she had no access to any records.
This 120k car has depreciated an entire year in value and then some because of Roger’s complete disregard and abuse of my insurance company’s money. Every payment I’ve made on the car has been reversed in fees. It doesn’t take a year to fix any car. What was already a difficult financial situation has been made 1000x worse by Rogers.
UPDATE — Rody refuses to return the car. There’s a court hearing tomorrow against him.
Update again — The court ruled against Rody, however he STILL won’t return the car… He has had my car for a year. He doesn’t care or have any desire to right the situation whatsoever. You’ve been warned!

Just got the car back from the Ford dealership, had them repair the hatchet job Roger’s performed on the car. After over $ 20K paid to Roger’s, we had to pay an additional $ 4,900 for a new long block, due to rust in the car’s engine and the shitty sealant work somebody tried to repair the damage with.
This place is the worst. Like, this place should not be allowed to call themselves a business-​level bad. Like, this place should not be allowed to work on tricycle-​level bad. Like, filing a complaint with the BBB immediately after I finish typing this comment-​level bad.

I went here when I got side swiped by another driver. This was one of the closest shops to my house so originally I went because it was convenient. I dealt with nick on the phone who answered all of my questions and didn’t give me the run around. I went through my insurance and it was hassle free. The best part about all of this was that my car was in and out of the shop in no time. They are efficient and super nice guys, definitely go here!

I will stand by this place and their work all day long. Someone bumped into my driver side door and left some paint which was very noticeable. I went by the shop and they said they could try to buff it out but couldn’t guarantee anything. I was appreciative and they got to work. Spent about 15 minutes working on it they got everything out. Looked brand spanking new again. I gave the gentleman a tip and he was very appreciative and I was on my way.
Did I mention they got to work on my car in about 3 minutes even when all the mechanics were busy.

Thank you so much for taking care of me, the other driver and the situation. I felt so taken care of, your service is absolutely amazing. I love you all dearly now! This place is amazing! I was referred by a friend. I will use them for everything from now on. I even called one of my friend’s who’s a State Farm Agent and told him to refer all his people there. I had hit a car in a parking lot and needed the other driver taken care of fast. They took care of the other car, and made that driver feel safe, well taken care of and fully satisfied. They did an amazing job on the car. They worked amazingly with me, kept me in the loop and did the job very quickly!

Rogers auto body is seriously the best! They were so accommodating, helpful and kind. Easy to get a hold of, they do fantastic work, flexible in appointment times, and they even set me up with a free oil change. I can’t say enough about all the staff here! Oh, and they have super fair prices as well:)!!

Brought my 06 Range Rover in after I was rear ended on the freeway… Rody and his crew did a great job on my car and even went out of their way to make sure I was completely satisfied… I’m Satisfied!

I recently had body damages to my car fixed at Roger’s autobody and it was a fantastic experience. Everyone who worked at the shop was awesome, and I felt that my car was in good hands.
The work looked great and they were very easy to work with. I would highly recommend Roger’s for your next body repair job!

My wife was in a minor accident and I dropped by Rogers just to get an estimate. the staff was extremely friendly and they took a look right away and told me only some minor work was needed on the bumper. But here is the real shocker, the owner, Rody, wouldn’t take my money. Sergio made it look like new in 10 minutes. I’ll definitely bring them any future body work. Great business and you can wait on the beach!

Getting in a wreck sucks but as you can see from the graveyard of wrecked cars here these guys are used to dealing with it. My car was totaled so I can’t speak for having work done but they talked me through the process and were very pleasant to deal with! Even asked if I was feeling ok after my family sustained injury from the accident. Thanks so much again guys!

Please do not go here. There are many auto body shops in PB, go to anyone but here.
I’m a little late on writing my review, but in 2013 I got in a pretty bad front fender/​bumper accident with over $ 4,000 in damage. My car got dropped off late Friday night and I had to call to make sure they even had my car keys (from the drop box), the following Monday. It was estimated 3 – 4 weeks of repairs and took TWO MONTHS! They over charged my insurance, were sketchy with the damage estimate and they have ZERO communication with their customers.
Once I finally went to pick my car up, of course I was treated so well. Such a façade from the workers. Also, they never put on my front license plate frame. I called a month later asking if it was in and never got an answer…
My windshield also had to be replaced, was replaced by a buddy of the company’s and a few months later had to be replaced AGAIN because it was completely warped… I called Roger’s Auto Body to get the number of the company and they gave me Safelite’s number. I called and there was no record of my car on file. So I had to call back Roger’s Auto Body. Their response «Oh I’m sorry I just assumed we went through them, let me actually pull up your file» Are you kidding me???
A year after I got my car back I had to get my power steering belt replaced since it completely snapped… even though my power steering went completely out at the time of the accident and was supposedly replaced… HM just seems like problems keep coming up.

These guys are awesome. I brought my convertible in for an estimate after backing into something and the rear bumper required slight realigning. Roger’s was the 2^nd place I quoted with. They were quite busy but I felt comfortable leaving my car there for a bit. Rody the owner called and told me it’d be $ 100 and would take around 2 hours. I was fine with that since the 1^st place I went to wanted $ 200. Quality of work was excellent, pricing super fair. highly recommend!

Horrible customer service. Very sketchy evaluation, followed by employees huddling and speaking Spanish (which we could understand) saying they weren’t going to get enough money for just removing the dent on the roof my car.
