If you care how you look then you need to see Ron Stuart. I have been coming here for several years to have custom made shirts. There is no substitute for a shirt or coat that fits you perfectly. I have owned Armani and Hugo Boss and having Ron make me a suit to MY body is head and shoulders over what Nordstroms or Macy’s can provide. Ron also provides clothing in store in case you need a coat or shirt (or tie and belt) that day.
Pricing is fair for the high quality you receive and the customer service and tailoring is stellar.

I’m attending a wedding for a close family friend, and I was having a difficult time finding a classy looking suit. I have a few friends that are attorneys in SD that purchase their suits from Ron Stuart’s, so I decided to call them. I live an hour away from the store and thought that I would have to drive down there to purchase the suit. However, with the help of Patrick he was able to find the perfect suit (size, color, and fabric) that I was seeking. I forwarded all of my information to him, and the suit was shipped to me in an expeditious manner. I will continue to purchase my suits from this store. You get QUALITY and great, personalized, customer service.

Can’t say enough good things about owner Ron, son Patrick and tailor Joe. They all do a fantastic job at making your shopping experience a personal one. For someone who detests going to the mall, this is paradise. Prices were competitive and quality was fantastic. I am looking forward to returning again and again!

I’ve been shopping here for at least 25 years. These guys make suit shopping easy. They have a great selection of formal wear as well as casual wear. If you don’t see what your looking for, they usually can order it for you. If you go to buy a suit, they lay out different combos of shirts, ties, socks, that would go with the suit. Go on in and see Ron, or his son Patrick, and you will see what I’m talking about!!!

Everything they do is top notch! If something is not quite right, they will make it right through tailoring or any other means! Their merchandise is also magnificent! I have been a 20 year customer and finally wanted to write in and give them a thumbs up on Unilocal!

This shop carries the same merchandise (e.g. Jack Victor, Joseph Abboud, Hart Schaffner etc.) as Nordstrom and other department stores. However, it is significantly cheaper and more knowledgeable. Very friendly, reliable and service oriented. On site tailor does a great job.

Ron knows his stuff. First went there years ago with my dad, recently went back to get a new suit for my wedding. Wish I’d remembered about Ron’s store before I spent weeks getting frustrated at every other store in town. Ron made it easy. Great price on the suit too!

I’ve been shopping here since the mid-90’s and this is the kind of men’s clothing shop that can actually make a guy want to go shopping. As Neil Patrick Harris might say, «SUIT UP!» This is the place to go for dress and corporate casual clothing that will make you look like a Million Bucks. Their clientele are a who’s who of San Diego from Doctors, Lawyers, Politicans, Athletes, Real Estate Developers/​Brokers, etc. Owner Ron Ford and his staff will make you feel like the shop was closed down just for you and they always know what looks good on you regardless of your size or shape.
