Royal Loan

Awesome place. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I even had to come back to sign one more form the day after my purchase and they totally went over the top to make up for my inconvenience. I’ll be buying from these guys again. :-)

I had my wife’s wedding ring repaired. Royal Loan employees were very friendly and helpful. I had the ring back in just 2 days. I’ll be giving Royal Loan my business for years to come.

Love this place. I stop by just to say hello at times. Bought some firearms on some great deals and even sold some. Fast and easy private party transfers too. Also turned in some gold jewelry and got a great price for it =0)

Eight months ago, I did business with ROYAL LOAN. That evening, I wrote a review about my experience, it was extremely favorable. My business then was for a loan only and within my timeframe, I retrieved my loan items. A few months later, I was in another financial bind and I took the same items back to ROYAL LOAN and received the same loan amount and the same welcoming, friendly, warm demeanor from the owner KEN, and his staff. This loan is almost up and I will be getting my belongings out very soon, but I stopped by today and something transpired that I feel compelled to compliment this business and those who own/​work in it once again.
What happened is personal but 100% business related. I’m not going to share it with everyone, because it’s personal, to me, but if it didn’t make the great impression that it did, then I wouldn’t be writing this. You will just have to take my word for it, THIS is the place, the ONLY place that anyone should do business with regarding pawns and loans. What happened for me today, only proved something I already knew… the people that own and operate ROYAL LOAN have heart. To me, having heart means, «Having the passion to care and to show kindness to your fellow man». One cannot have that without having integrity, sincerity, being honest and trustworthy, it all goes hand in hand.
In a business such as this, wouldn’t you really prefer to do such business with a man that possesses these qualities? I know I do. KEN went above and beyond today, TRUST ME !

I bought a gun here just before christmas. Great customer service and a pretty painless process considering my last purchase with another california gun shop. Would leave 5 stars but it wasn’t a great deal (it is a pawn shop), it was a fair and reasonable price. The firearm was also pretty dirty. Nothing 20min. Of cleaning didn’t fix. Other than that, a great experience! I recommended this place to all my friends for a firearm purchase!

Bought a few guns from here. Staff is very pleasant and they don’t give you the «GUN STORE» feel. Prices in my mind are reasonable also.

This reviews been a long time coming and it is the only Unilocal review im gonna make. A guy whose name i cant remember but had long hair gave me a huge helping hand with gun info and gun advice a few days ago and i just really appreciated it that he did not jerk me around like other sales guys do. Nice, helpful staff! First time pawn shop experience, selling old random gold and silver jewelry. The son (forgot his name) was funny, patient and smart. Store is very clean and parking was super easy. Highly recommend!

This should be the only place you should go to pawn your items or if you are looking at purchasing a firearm at good prices. I came here to settle one of my pawns as well complete the FFL transfer for my new gun. Talana was kind enough to handle my situation while juggling other things and got me in and out quickly. Thanks to everyone at Royal Pawn! You guys rock!

Talana was SO HELPFUL with jewelry and knows a lot about guns, I highly recommend her because she treats a complete stranger like a good friend!

I watch Pawn Stars religiously though I never had the need nor desire to check out a Pawn Shop. Pawn shops are one of the oldest methods of obtaining credit. That being said, I wanted to be part of history, so I decided to pawn something for fun-​at least that’s what my firends believe. This shop is particulary cool for gun buffs as they maintian a license to sell modern firearms.
The staff was courteous and fair even though I though my items would be worth a little more, but who doesn’t? I did not argue as I knew I’d be back the next day to pick them up. After some legal stuff-​paperwork and the like– I got my cash and hit the road.
I thoroughly surprised the clerk when I returned the next day. Sure people say «See you tomorrow» but that never really means see you tomorrow. Well, I’m a man of my word and did just that. Even though my items were only there for 24 hours, they conducted a thorough inspection before signing off on their relase.
All in all, my experience was good and I was treated fairly. If I deicde to unclutter my life, I will give this place another go.

Incredibly nice group of people that have the answers to every question and are beyond helpful to those of us who know nothing about the gun purchasing/​owning process. I wasn’t feeling well so they even ran out to a nearby store to pick me up something while I was filling out forms, etc!!!

Super friendly staff and a great selection of firearms ! They treat their customers with so much respect and are so polite, in my opinion they have out done any gunshop I have been to. I will continue to come here when im in the market for another firearm.

This review is long overdue so shame on me, the employees that I know are always friendly, helpful and down to earth. A lot of people coming here looking for Guns but they do have movies, gold and music instruments. If you’re looking for guns and great prices this is the place to be. I love how you can make payments for about 3months. At some places you have one month to pay in full & pick up your gun. I can’t believe how friendly the staff is they will speak to you for a while about the gun you want. You can tell these guys are really passionate about guns.

I went in recently to get my handgun safety permit and browse their handguns. This is the first handgun place I visited that understands the business concept of «customer service». I felt welcome and while I was rusty with handguns; they were patient and helpful with showing me different models and features of the guns I was interested in buying. Seriously, I’d pay a little bit more of a gun here because I know if I had a question down the road; I’d actually get some help. I am not done with my search for the right handgun but when I get to that point Royal Loan is the one to beat for my business. And note to other gun shops, being a jerk to customers doesn’t make you cool; it makes you a bad businessman.

My husband and I had been looking to purchase a couple of guns and our searching brought us here. While they didn’t end up having the gun we wanted, the employees were so helpful and not at all condescending or impatient with a couple of newbies looking to buy a gun. In particular, the dark-​haired young guy with the glasses (Did he have glasses? Now I’m questioning it.) was amazingly helpful and spent a lot of time answering our questions and recommending good guns for the type of shooting we wanted to do. He also introduced me to my dream gun: the Henry Golden Boy.
Their prices are a bit higher than Turner’s during their spring sale, so that’s the only reason we decided to get our guns elsewhere. When we’re in the market for guns again we’ll come right back to Royal Loan.
If you’re just starting to get interested in shooting and have been intimidated by the gun enthusiasts at some other gun shops, come here and ask as many questions as you want. You won’t be judged. They also have a nice 10% (I believe) down layaway plan. Turner’s is 30%.

First time I wandered into Royal Loan was because my roommate was trying to pawn a few belongings.
First time into a pawn shop, I was surprised to see firearms all over the wall on the right side. Anyways that is the history, onto the review.

— They will take 5% off if you pay in cash
— Actually has some crazy inventory of gun’s you might not normally see at a gun store
— Staff was actually very friendly.
Con’s.
— I knocked off a star just based off some of the prices I’ve seen here. The markup on some of the firearms was a little bit ridiculous.

Purchased a brand new Sig from this place earlier this year. Sorry for just now getting around to writing this review, better late than never.
I wandered in to this pawn/​gun shop randomly one afternoon. Mostly with the interest of looking at guns as I was close to ready to make a purchase but also because I had never stepped foot inside a pawn shop before. The staff was friendly from the get go. They treated me with respect, educated me on a few things I had questions regarding, and provided overall excellent customer service.
I had known for a while what gun I wanted just was not sure which version would be perfect for me. I went in armed with questions and walked out with a receipt for the Sig I had just purchased and was waiting to be delivered. Not once did I feel pressured to buy anything, the staff was very nice in answering all my questions, making sure I got the best deal, and making sure it was one I was going to be satisfied with. Less than two weeks later (thanks to California 10 day waiting period laws), I was back in the shop to pick up my new semi automatic. They made the process easy. It has since been months and I love my handgun and know when I am ready to purchase another, new or used, it will be from Royal Loan.
In addition to gun sales, there are accessories for the guns (no ammo though), jewelry, and a few other knick-​knacks.
