My go-to lunch spot! Great food, great service. I work in the area and there’s really not all that many choices for food in this area of Friars from the mall westward. Ryan’s is truly a lifesaver for me every time I forget to pack a lunch or feel like some pick-up. I’ll usually call before I leave the office and food is ready for pick-up by the time I get there. My favorites are any of the pita fold Sandwiches, especially the Chicken ones. The Gyro Plate is delicious too with generous portions! I also like the Patty Melt. Only logistical caveat is that the lot can get crowded sometimes, especially when school is in. I usually try to go right before or after the lunch rush. Thanks Ryan’s! –J

I feel bad saying it but this place stinks! Everything from the food, bad service to the photos on their menu. I don’t feel they have any passion for what they do. There is a reason why this place is dead every time I pass by to get a donut next door. Sorry just being honest!

Love this place. I’ve never ordered breakfast for delivery before until today. I’m sick at home and didn’t want to go anywhere out of the house to get a bite to eat. I found Ryan’s, and they delivered breakfast in 20 minutes! I had the breakfast croissant and it was so good. I will definitely be ordering from Ryans again.

Two words: Blueberry Pancakes! This place keeps me fed! Quick delivery, delicious fresh well packaged and provisioned with ample condiments! Don’t forget to tip your delivery person! The fountain Cokes are perfectly syrupy and bubbly. The burgers are great and the French fries are crisp and hot.

First time here, ordered the double burger for $ 6.99 alone. It was absolutely tasteless and the bun was a soggy mess. Also i believe the burgers were held in a warming tray not cooked to order as evidenced by the order delivery in a couple minutes. It was between meal times(approximately 2:30PM) so they were probably sitting around for a while. Way to much money to spend for a mediocre burger that wasn’t even cooked to order! Huge disappointment!

Absolutely disgusting!!! The food tasted bland and was barely cooked, and the service was awful even when I was the ONLY person there. Don’t waste your time, trust me.

Ordered breakfast for my family at paradise point this morning. Delivery was right on target 40min. Food was like warm but considering its delivery that’s not unexpected. They listened to my request to have the breakfast burritos split in 2 boxes for my kids. Food arrives just as planned and service was quick. I would recommend to anyone trying to save a few bucks since room service would have doubled my bill. All in all it was good food and affordable. I will be ordering again when we are back in sandiego!

This place is pretty good. Good breakfast at reasonable prices and a simple menu. A no-frills café. I recommend the Ryan’s Special.

Got the patty melt. Fantastic. A little more cheese than I like but that’s my problem, who doesn’t love cheese. Excellent prices for a wide range of food. Very nice little café. Owner was there working which I like. The only thing that I had prob with was that the rrye bread could’ve been toasted more. Lightly toasted, I like hearing the crunch of my patty melts. But it was delicious. Again excellent prices

So gross. Soggy vegetables, unseasoned meet and everything is just gross. Like don’t ever bother. You name it, it’s gross.

I’ve never had a problem with this place! I love ordering from them, I often order online through Eat 24. I also go in since I live right up the hill from Ryan’s Café. Their food is good, and I don’t find it to be expensive. I definitely feel better eating here than at Carl’s Jr. Customer service is good too. Everyone is polite! Needless to say, I enjoy eating here and will continue to be a customer!

Woke up Saturday morning and decided to be cute and order breakfast for my boyfriend for his birthday. I put in the order at 9 so it could maybe be here by the time he rolled out of bed. Ordered 2 coffees and a handful of different breakfast options so he could decide what he wanted. The delivery time said 45 – 60 minutes which was fine because it’s Saturday morning. Spent $ 50 on the food, delivery and tip but it’s ok cuz it’s his birthday and I wanted to do something nice. Well, an hour goes by and still no food. Call the place and they say«it will be there in 15 minute». 30 fricken minutes LATER and we finally get our food. Cold as sh*t and when I asked the guy why it took so long, he just said«sorry we’re busy». Not to mention I was EXTREMELY disappointed the«mochas» we’re just Starbucks drinks that I could have gotten from the gas station… Thanks for making the morning start out like sh*t. If I wanted to pay $ 50 and wait an hour and a half, I would have just taken him to fricken breakfast.

I like to support local mom and pop instead of chains, so when I craved for a burger for lunch today I decided to give Ryan a try rather the usual around the area. Boy did I regret my decision. It was about 1:30pm and the entire place was empty should be a good indicator that I should turn around and go across street to Carl’ Jr. Order a cheese burger combo, $ 5.99 for the burger plus $ 2.00 to make a combo with tax it was over $ 8. The burger was very small, the ground beef was falling apart barely holding together by the half melted cheese. Fry was good but portion was very small. BTW, the owner behind the register looked like he haven’t shaved or shower for days, very unsanitary. The food was fair but at that price I won’t be back.

Ordered food delivery. Came hot and delicious. I’m temporarily disabled so I like the fact that they deliver. Not to crazy of a delivery fee. Delivery woman was nice and friendly. Found my new sandwich/salad place.

This was the first time I ordered this for delivery… We’re 7 min away and all the food we got was ice cold. Food probably was good, but I couldn’t get over how cold it was. Delivery time was exact, but I’d rather it be late and hot, then cold and early! We got the Gyro and Ryans breakfast with pancakes… All cold… Too bad!

I usually order from, Ryan’s Café through Grubhub since I am usually caught up at home and don’t have the ability to step out. And at first I was a little wary of the prices, $ 4 – 5 for a gyro? However when I received my food I understood, the proportions were fairly large and it was delicious! I will definitely order again!

With a 24-hour donut shop, a Mexican and thai food joint next door, I’ve never stopped into Ryan’s Café. One day while under the weather I needed to get out of the house and was craving a grilled cheese. I didn’t want to drive somewhere so I figured I’d check out Ryan’s Café. A grilled cheese on bread of my choice, was on the menu so I decided to give it a try. I was a little shocked that cheese between two bread slices was going to cost me $ 4.95! but I was starving. It didn’t take long and I was on my way with the grilled cheese«to go». With a little one I wasn’t able to actually eat my grilled cheese till about 30 minutes later and to my surprise it was really good. The cheese was really gooey and the bread not soggy at all. The grilled cheese was good, but I don’t think I’ll be back. For the same cost I can go to Nordstrom Café and have a grilled cheese, cup of their famous tomato soup, a side and a drink! I think I know why Ryan’s is always empty — they need to lower their prices :)
