It’s salad. Disappointed after all the hype for this place in the financial district as a quality lunch spot. I had a small pepper steak as a wrap for $ 10. The lettuce was good quality; not iceberg or romaine. Huge negative: the meat and other veggies,(mushroom, roasted tomato) were cold. This means they end up having hardly any discernible flavor. Minimal veggies that were supposed to be in it. And the salad was not dressed before it went In the lavash– so then I was stuck with dry salad(I’m not going to pour the dressing on the top and end up with a pool at the bottom). For $ 10 for a small and a wait I expect the protein to be freshly cooked and the salad tossed so the ratio is appropriate. This ended up like I went to the salad bar and clumped a bunch of stuff on top of lavash and rolled it up. Won’t be going back.

The peppered steak salad is good. I’d recommend a large, because, well, it’s salad. Not sure that a small salad will hold anyone over until dinner. Lunch is always busy, best to call in your order. It still feels weird paying $ 14 for a salad, but it does taste pretty good and I can pretend that I am being healthy.

I love Salad Style! Their salads are fresh and delicious! Only downside is they mess up my order, every single time. I typically order the same thing, the Ahi Salad in a wrap, large with no tomatoes, capers, olives or onions. Today I got the small size and onions in it instead of the large I ordered over the phone, last week I got extra olives, week before tomatoes and olives where in there, one week it came with a side of Lavash wrap instead of being in the wrap… I will still eat here because the quality of freshness cannot be beat, but common sort yourselves out and start getting peoples orders right! You’ve been open a couple months now and the ability to input an order should be fixed! Im not the only one who has got messed up orders, a few people in my office(across the street) have ordered and not got what they asked for… Also the wait time if you go in and order is crazy! It’s a popular place! Phone in your order and double, triple check when you collect :-)

After a week with«low fat high sugar» food items we were all craving greens and healthy stuff. Salad style totally delivered that, in a super delicious way. I wish I could make salads like this at home! I had the grilled salmon salad which was awesome, and the ones my company chose looked equally good. Nice staff & facilities. Only one thing keeps me from giving a 5 star review, and that is that the coke/sodas were made w unfiltered tap water which gives a horrible taint(and I think I paid $ 4 for it?!).

I really like the new location! Same great tasting healthy food as the original location! I will definitely come back! The only thing I didn’t like is that they changed their Unilocal check-in discount policy to just once per customer. Not as good of a deal as it used to be.

The new location is great! I love their salads, although they are a little on the pricey side. Skip converting the salad to a wrap, it is definitely not worth the up-charge. If you go during lunch plan on waiting a long time, or call it in ahead. But overall, great tasting food, and a lot of options.

If you’re one to try and eat clean for lunch/dinner, but are surrounded by all the fried/bad/accommodating food(being in downtown), then this is the spot to hit up! The menu is simple and whichever one you end up choosing will be delicious and filling. My personal favorite is the soba noodle salad, which with all the different ingredients is well mixed together(Green Tea Soba Noodles, Freshly Shredded Cabbages, Arugula, Grilled Chicken, Carrots, Sugar Snap Peas, Organic Sprouts, Shiitake Mushrooms, Peanuts, Scallions, Ginger-Sesame Dressing)! Not only do you get your greens from the arugula and cabbages, but you also get a lower-cal alternative to wheat pasta from the soba! And the grilled chicken cooked on point. Order a small(few dollars cheaper than the large), it’ll still be big enough to satisfy. Plus doesn’t sting the wallet as much as the large priced salads.

If I am given the ability to give«½» stars, I would give them a 3 ½. This place just opened near my work and I always see a line out the door. I decided to give them a try today. I tried phoning in our order and got a busy signal the three times I called. I went in to order our food togo. The cashier repeated my order and had it correct. There were a few people in line but I didn’t have to wait as long as I thought I would be waiting. My boyfriend ordered the regular Cobb Salad with Ranch instead of the Honey-Mustard Dressing. I was able to check this before I left and sure enough, the man who brought my salad did not give that to me. I asked for Ranch and the woman behind the registered confirmed that was correct. I didn’t notice any beans in my salad so I took off and left. The Cobb Salad was delish. I love how they did not skimp out on the chicken and gave a good amount of chicken. I ordered the small sized Mexican salad with NOBEANS. Salad was delish and a good portion for being a «small» sized salad. I love how the jimaca gave the salad some crunch and some sweetness to the salad. I love how they gave a good portion of the carnitas meat and tortilla chips. I love how they gave a good amount of avocado. I was enjoying my salad until I had a bite of the black beans. I HATEBLACKBEANS and that is why I requested for no beans. The beans were black which reminded me of a cockroach and the texture of the bean is so mushy. I hated it. It ruined my enjoying experience of eating this salad. I did not want to go back to get a new salad. Instead I spent a good 10 min trying to pick out the black beans. Cashier got my order right, however the cooks in the back didn’t. I hope in the future they can get other orders right.
