We remove honeybees from almost anywhere alive. Whether you have a swarm of bees in a bush outside your house or a beehive (an established colony) in your wall we can help.

Bees find their way into all kinds of places where our customers would rather not have a beehive. We can safely relocate them instead of exterminating them.

We understand that not everyone loves bees the way we do, but most people know that honeybees are extremely important to humankind. Over the past few years you’ve probably heard that honeybees are in trouble, colony collapse disorder and the encroachment of Africanized bees have been big news.

Bee removal is our business, we are beekeepers who specialize in removing beehives and swarms alive. If you have a pest, call a pest control company, if you have a bee problem call us, we are NOT exterminators!

History

Established in 2007.

We have been keeping bees since 1988, because people had heard about the troubles which are affecting our honeybees, we got more and more calls from people who wanted us to remove a swarm of bees or beehive alive from places where they shouldn’t be.

Previously many of these bees had simply been killed, which in many cases was not only unnecessary, but very irresponsible, bordering on vandalism! San Diego Bees was born.

Meet the Business Owner

Geoff K.

Business Owner

Beekeeper, public speaker and bee advocate.

On his way to high school in England he would pass a house with several beehives which sparked his interest but he thought, wrongly as it turned out, that it would be impossible to keep bees where he lived. Once he moved to a rural location in 1988 he quickly embraced beekeeping, and has been keeping bees in various places ever since.

This has lead him to position himself as The Bee Advocate and create the website www. the​-bee​-advo​cate​.com. He says, «It’s vital that people understand how important the honeybee is to mankind’s wellbeing.», part of that is the acceptance of bees locally.

Geoff is available for hire as a speaker to interested groups anywhere about why bees and beekeeping are so vitality important to everyone.
