Dr. Berger is simply the best in his field. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to perform surgery on my kid!

Dr. Joel Berger took care of my daughter in-​law after she fell and broke her jaw. He did surgery and follow up. My problem was the financial staff, they don’t know or understand how insurance works. Tried to tell us when we returned for follow up after surgery that Dr. Berger wouldn’t be finishing treatment because the insurance company wouldn’t be working with their office any longer. Apparently they never heard of continuity of treatment… it would be like oh we took out your appendix but we can’t close you up now. They FINALLY got her in two weeks past the time she was supposed to have the metal screws in her mouth removed. The insurance company (whom I called and talked to) said we don’t know what his finance manager is talking about, we approved the procedure from start to finish. DUH! His staff was very vocal about her needing pain medication (by vocal I mean so loud that we could hear the outrage over it while she was waiting to leave). I highly recommend Dr. Berger as an oral surgeon but I sure feel bad for anyone working with his staff.

These guys are wonderful, i was on a time crunch to get my niece surgery done before she went back home to her dad whom i share custody with… They got us in quickly assessed the issue of her wisdom teeth found out it was much worse than we thought, offered us the surgery right away, completed it and now a week later she is getting ready to go home and her mouth is healing quicker than we thought.
I hope I never need mouth surgery but if i do i know where to go, and i will forever recommend these guys to everybody…
