We offer a weekly pub crawl aimed at bringing San Diego locals and tourists together in a fun and social environment where they can experience everything Gaslamp has to offer. In addition to offering weekly pub crawls every Friday & Saturday for over 4 years, we also pride ourselves on being able to create custom nightlife and VIP experiences for any occasion. We do dozens of bachelor/​bachelorette parties, birthday parties, and corporate events every year, each with their own needs and special requirements. We love planning special events and sorting through the details so you don’t have too. Ultimately, San Diego Pub Crawler specializes in bringing people together to enjoy the absolute best of what San Diego has to offer.

History

Established in 2010.

After traveling Europe for several months and stumbling through too many pub crawls to remember, we decided to bring the party back home with us. San Diego Pub Crawler was created to bring the spirit of European pub crawl’s right here to San Diego. We love partying, drinking, and having a great time, which is why we started this weekly crawl in the first place. Our tour guides are knowledgeable, fun, and are always around to make sure you get the most out of every crawl. Our goal is to insure you experience the diverse nightlife San Diego has to offer while keeping your precious cash in your pocket. We know traveling is expensive, and that’s why we keep our price low, include a free drink or two, and have happy hour pricing all night.

I’ll admit, when I bought these pub crawl tickets I was skeptical. My fiancé and I live in Chula Vista and know the Gaslamp Distict, why do we need someone to take us to bars? But I was wrong, I was SO wrong! There is just something about partying with other people, chanting in the street, and saving money that makes a night out so much more fun! These folks at SDPC got this pub crawl thing down. From the second we walked up we were greeted with a huge smile from our host Morgan, 50% off our drinks with a wristband, and a tasty welcome shot! Does it get any better than that?
The pub crawl we joined was about 30 people, so it was big, but Morgan made sure we didn’t get lost in the mix. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, and as a couple in our early 30’s we fit right in! If you can have fun and drink with the best of em’, don’t even think about it. Just do it!
You heard it here first: as a San Diego native, consider me a believer! SDPC you rock!

The San Diego Pub Crawl was a great way to spend an evening! My girlfriend and I were in town to celebrate our anniversary and we wanted to check out what downtown San Diego had to offer! Kolby, our host had a lot of energy and got everybody pumped for the evening. We went to 4 different bars each with its own discount and free cover for each one. I highly recommend this for anyone unfamiliar with the downtown San Diego bar scene because they show you some great places! Best part is you can get back into any of the bars after the crawl is done!

This is my first time doing a pub crawl with an experienced host. We started the night at a little bar next to the mall I was kind of skeptical at first but once the night went on and the drinks started kicking in my group had a BLAST. The host was very good about gathering everyone outside I remember going to the 4th bar and after that it was a blurr lol. I would definitely do this again

My girlfriends and I went on the pub crawl for a bachelorette celebration and had s blast! Eddy was a great event leader and was amazing at rounding everyone up so we didn’t get lost :)
The drink deals were cheap and all the bars were unique and fun! Definitely will go again!

Soooooo much fun! Went on the pub crawl for valentine’s day and is was amazingly fun! We had the tour guide Adam and he was so nice. He had a couple of other guides with him which was very useful considering gaslamp is beyond packed valentine’s day weekend, we lost the group twice and ended up with the other guide and we connected back up after. But DEFINITELY worth the whole experience, we walked right into all the bars worth no cover charge, and drink specials. Awesome variety of bars they take you too, a little taste of everything. I would recommend this to everyone who is looking for a fun packed night that goes till sunrise!
Helpful suggestions to future crawlers:
–Women DONT wear heals, it’s allot of walking and you have to keep up or you will lose them.
–Attire is more businesses casual, basically in between club and local bar. A happy medium :)
— Pase yourself, enjoy the group idea, this is an experience you WANT to remember!

I had a corporate group of 18 from out of town and wanted something to do together on a Friday night. I contacted Eddy and we clicked right away. I told him a bit about our group and he knew exactly where we should go. He was great at keeping us on schedule. Everyone had a blast and are still talking about it! Thanks Eddy! Not only was our whole group treated like VIP’s walking right into all the bars/​nightclubs we also got drink specials at all the places we stopped which came in handy cause I like to drink. I booked this crawl for my best friend’s bachelor party and had an amazing time. Our guide, Eddy, was awesome and worked with us to plan out a perfect night. Each place we went we pretty much walked right in and had good drink specials. This pub crawl was the most fun I have had in the gas lamp. I highly recommend it.

Best decision!!! We went for my sister’s bachelorette party a few weeks ago and we are STILL talking about how much fun we had with Adam! We had 14 girls, and he took great care of us.
Everything was so well organized, customized to our group, and FUN!
If you are looking for a good time with a great guide, great drinks, no hassle anywhere, then you simply MUST go with these guys!

Went with my friend from Wisconsin. We drove down to San Diego from Newport Beach and met Eddy at Taste & Thirst. We had a good time and Eddy was good at keeping everyone together, even though many people wandered off by the end.
We’ll probably go again next year for the Christmas crawl.

Great hosts. They really do take care of you. I recently went for my bachelor party and had an excellent time. I definitely recommend trying out a pub crawl if you’re in San Diego. It’s a great way to experience the club/​bar scene in The Gaslamp District. Going throug San Diego Pub Crawler made it so much easier than trying to figure out on our own.
If you’ve never done a pub crawl before, I recommend San Diego Pub Crawl to be your first. And… I recommend you pace yourself.

Pros: Once we actually managed to make it onto a pub crawl, the bars were pretty good, varied, and we spent a decent amount of time in each bar. We both had a fun experience.
We appreciate that Eddie did try to make sure that everyone was getting included, e.g. getting a chance to play shuffleboard at the first bar and letting everyone know that there was the opportunity to do the mechanical bull at another.
Cons: I had a visitor in town for two weeks, and I had scheduled the pub crawl for his first Tuesday here. We got an email at around 3:00pm saying that the pub crawl had been cancelled. The only other possible date that we could have made it would have been the next Tuesday, and, given how late the pub crawl was cancelled, we were unable to make plans with any of my friends for that evening. We probably would have had a good time even if we’d just done the pub crawl the two of us with a guide. Luckily, we managed to make it to the next Tuesday’s pub crawl, which wasn’t cancelled. If you’re only here in town for a short period of time, make back-​up plans.
Pub crawl was pricier than it needed to be; definitely go with a Groupon. Some of the bars seemed to already have drink specials for the general public, and the ones for people on the pub crawl were good but not great.

Top notch service from San Diego Pub Crawler! I first found this company on google while doing some research for my best friends bachelor party. We were going to be staying in gas lamp area of San Diego and wanted to do something different. After doing my research on Unilocal I decided to give them a call and gather info. They were quite pleasant to talk to over the phone. The gentleman, I think his name was Eddy, answered all of my questions and gave me a feeling that he knew what he was talking about.
The actual crawl was very well organized and was an amazing time. Eddy was professional and fun at the same time. He seemed to genuinely care about our experience. During the tour, we met a bunch of other fun people. By the time the crawl ended we had made a few new friends. Over all it was a blast and I recommend the experience to anyone who enjoys night life.

My wife and I were really looking forward to doing this pub crawl on our honeymoon. Before leaving the hotel to grab some pre-​crawl dinner, I checked my phone and noticed that the crawl had been canceled due to a lack of adequate reservations. The email was timestamped at 2:46pm, and I got it around 6pm (hey, we’re on vacation, I’m not checking email constantly, I’m glad I saw it at all).
Needless to say, this left us scrambling for plans at the last minute. We decided to just wing it and do our own impromptu pub crawl through the Gaslamp Quarter. We went into a bar, had a drink, told the bartender what happened and asked her to pick our next bar. We did this at all subsequent establishments and the bartenders seemed to like playing along.
If you’re going to make a reservation to do this crawl, definitely make back up plans as well, especially if you’re visiting from out of town and only have one opportunity to do it.

You know… it’s a pretty awesome deal considering my friend and I used a groupon to get in together for $ 20. Though I used to live in San Diego, I never really explored much of the gaslamp and this was the perfect opportunity. We got to go to 5 different bars/​pubs, with discounts at each place, and a free shot at the first one (Taste and Thirst). I liked the chill atmosphere at Hennessy, the live music at Tipsy Crow. And we got to meet some cool, social people. I do have one request though, is for the bars to also offer discounts on other drinks besides well drinks and beer. I wanted a mojito! :)
Eddy did a good job of keeping us together. He started groupon, didn’t you know? Hahahaha… But the best part? Skipping the line at Whiskey Girl and walking straight in to dance the rest of the night away. I had an awesome time… thanks SD Pub Crawler and Eddy!

OMG! So much fun!!! Don’t even think twice about this one just do it! This was one of the best times out in downtown San Diego! My friend and I bought a Groupon for $ 19 for two person Pubcrawl deal. We decided to split it and we would each receive a free shot and discounted drinks so not a bad deal at all plus we would get to try 5 new spots we had never been to. Our tour:
The Pubcrawl began at 7:30 so we decided to go downtown a little early and grab a bite to eat at the spot where the night began.
Bar 1 —— Taste & Thirst It was 6:00 when we arrived and they had happy hour going on that included 50% of all drinks. We had two drinks each and the chicken nachos were yummy for 6.95 + 1.95 for the chicken.
Once 7:30 hit we met our tour guy Eddy and the Pub crawl began :) We took our free shot which was a TNT shot (Grape Vodka with a Splash of sprite) We stayed here until 8:15.
Bar 2 —— Tipsy Crow This place was unique since it was upstairs and downstairs. They had a live guitar player that was good and the bartender Addison was super friendly. The first drink here was 3.00 for being part of the pubcrawl. We left here at 9:00 PM
Bar 3 —— The Field was an Irish feel and felt like you were in Europe in a little tavern. The drink special here for being part of the pubcrawl was 3.00 Miller Lite’s and 3.00 Kamkaze shot. We all sat a table as a group and had a lot of good laughs! Left at 9:45
Bar 4 — — - Hennessy’s the drink special here that I took advantage of was the 3.00 wine glasses red or white. This bar is kind of one of those places you can relax and meet really nice people. It has a cheers bar kind of feel to it. Left at 10:15
Bar 5 —– Last but not least on the route was Whiskey Girl and this by far was my favorite one! By this time I was drinking water and just dancing the night away. The music was great and the atmosphere was modern, clean, and I would for sure come here again!
5 STARS for Eddy! He deserves it this is such a great idea and everyone who lives or comes to San Diego should do one of these I know I will be doing them more often!!! Great Deal! Great Friends! and Great Tour!
