The San Diego University for Integrative Studies (SDUIS) is a small, private University with a humanistic and integrative philosophy. Our programs are applied in nature and we strive to equip our students with knowledge and tools they can use successfully in real life after graduation. Our awareness of the relationship between mind, body, and spirit forms the basis for a socially, culturally, and environmentally relevant educational process and experience which we call «Integrative Studies.»

The USA English Language Center is located on the campus of San Diego University for Integrative Studies. SDUIS is a private University centrally located in San Diego, California. Our USA English Language Center has been developed for personal and professional growth. We offer a unique hands-​on approach and small class size to international students who wish to improve their English language skills. Our campus offers students a warm and comfortable environment; as the students say «it’s our home away from home.» Within the USA English Language Center we pride ourselves on having native-​English speaking instructors who have years of experience in their field of education. Our excellent faculty along with customized classes results in personal attention for all students giving you the skills you need for success.

This university does so much for its students! When I learned all the amenities that students get I was shocked! Its nice that there are still are schools that actually do MORE for their students instead of the other way around. I would strongly recommend this university for any of your educational needs.

We have hosted an international student and she went to this school for her ESL English classes. In helping her obtain information for her requirements I contacted the school and spoke with the office. The receptionist who answered was very nice and helpful, then when I asked to speak with one of the advisors to request documents she transferred me to a lady by the name of Casey. Casey was rude, interrupted me, and generally nasty. Her response to me was filled with nonsense chatter and a litany of excuses. We are simply requesting standard documentation acknowledging course taken and attendance. I can’t comment on their curriculum since I did not personally take the class. I noticed the negative reviews here and it’s clear that some people like Casey are being 100% consistent with being unhelpful, unprofessional and impolite. Our international student did mention that when she goes to the office that they are often angry and impatient so she generally avoided going there. That in itself is a shame. Bottom-​line: If you are considering this school, I recommend putting it near the bottom of your list. One more thing, I think Casey should be proactive and fire herself. She deserves to be happier in her job. More importantly she should seek therapy so that her unhappy angry life doesn’t seep into her professional life and infect others. Life can be good.

I took 3 classes here and there are great teachers, class materials and class structure. Now l am taking the class on weekend. The teachers are so nice, helpful and engaging, which makes the class very fun. My English has improved so much since before I came this school.
You can try in a class before you decide to stay.

I came to San Diego University for Integrative Studies to learn english in the ESL program. The people are like a second family for International Students. They helped me alot, They help alot, expecially with my english! When I have a challenge or problem they have been alble to help. My english classes have been the best connection and experience in the U.S. I have people from 20 different countries in class. My teachers always bring a new experience to the classes and they make learning possible for everyone. This has been a great school!

Terrible place.
They give you I-​20 and keep your F-​1 student visa open. However classes are very poor organized, teachers level and knowledge is poor as well. If you go to study here don’t expect to learn anything new and useful.
The worst counselor is Matt –very stupid and dum and rude.
Don’t spend your money and time.
This school is nor accredited and not going to give you any credits for further education in USA

This unaccredited University is a student visa mill for International Students. The fees are very high, the quality of education is very low, and you’d be better off paying out of state tuition at a Community College or legit Four Year College. If you look up their accreditation it doesn’t meet the standards for transfer to most Community Colleges or legit Four Year Colleges.
It may be helpful for those who have the cash to spare or come from wealthy oil rich nations and don’t care about having a legit program. Those folks can get into the US basically buying their student Visa and likely overstaying their Visa.
There are many schools like this some better and some worse. Just know you won’t get a degree anyone will recognize or can be transferred. If you want to practice middle to high school level English with washed out instructors while you enjoy your stay on a student visa this may be your place.

I was a student and wasted a ton of money here. Don’t make the same mistake! Details: Private unaccredited university. ESL school is a visa mill for I-​20s. No structured curriculum for ESL students. No max unit limit for students. No end date for studies. Visas stay current as long as students pay monthly fee. Probably should be investigated by DHS.

I’ve visited the campus several times and every time I have had a positive experience. The administration is extremely friendly and very helpful. The are have a great understanding of what students need and really enjoy what they do.
If you are looking for a beautiful campus, you wont do better. It is centrally located, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful Old Town!
