SAS Shoe Store

I come here once a year or so and buy two or three pairs of shoes at a time. Unfortunately, this time I was interrupted while trying on shoes when a woman with a big dog was allowed in the store. It bothers me a lot when people lie about their pets being service animals because I am allergic to dogs. I don’t mind waiting outside for a genuine service animal, and you can tell by their behavior which ones are, and I’m sure it’s up to the store owner whether or not to allow animals in the store, but I really didn’t appreciate having to wait outside while the woman was in the store. I did buy two pairs of shoes, but i had planned to buy three, because I really needed shoes, but I won’t be going back there.

We’ve purchased SAS shoes in the past. We simply stopped by to see if there were any new styles being offered.
Shoes, although of great quality, are quite pricey. But you do get what you pay for. There were several people trying on shoes, so not really a place to sit down to try on shoes. We just tried them on in the aisles. I did overhear the gentleman state that there was a discount, so I inquired. He says that twice per year they offer a $ 15 off discount for any pair of shoes. Unfortunately, that really didn’t entice us to buy simply because the shoes we were looking at were $ 181. So, a $ 15 off discount isn’t even 10% off unfortunately. The gentleman was nice and friendly.

have had a couple of phone calls with them and they seem to be very nice and willing to help. am going in tomorrow to buy a couple of pair i hope this doesn’t change. i need shoes and sandals Well I went there and Chris waited on me. What a great lady, she was a great person and was willing to pull all the shoes i wanted to try on without giving me a hard time. I think I tried on about 8 pair and ended u; buying a pair of sandals. The fit like a gem and looked great,. I will be going back to get a pair of shoes. tennis shoes were nice. The are expensive but the feel great and they are made in America.

pros… great place to get some SAS shoes, which are my mom’s favorites. the shoes themselves are very comfortable and materials they use are top notch. but back to the store… service was excellent, they were very, very helpful and patient. probably cause most of their clientele are older folks. but always asking questions to narrow down what will be the best choice for you.
selection is good, they have a large store room in the back it seems. most styles/​models have at least 3 – 4 colors and material choices, so you don’t show up somewhere with the same shoe. how embarrassing is that? oh and when you do get your shoes for your mom, they even give you some chocolate candy as well. how old fashioned is that? it’s awesome that’s what i call it.
cons… store hours are nothing to write home about, remember their clientele, retired and elderly people, they have all day to shop. so going their late is not really an option. and this one in mission valley has a slight parking issue, cause it is pretty busy here. but all in all a nice place to get some good shoes.
