Saska’s is famous for aged char-grilled steaks, fresh local seafood, brunch, late night dining with valet parking, and sushi, which is right next door.
At Saska’s you can enjoy our bar-side sports lounge for watching your favorite teams and casual romantic fireside dining in our main room. Enjoy Saska’s in Mission Beach, where you can come and get sand on your feet.
History
Established in 1951.
We are celebrating over 64 years in Mission Beach. The original owner, Joe Saska relocated his young family from post-war Canonsburg, Pennsylvania to San Diego in 1945. His early career pursuits were as a milkman in East San Diego, a gas and grocery store owner in Grantville, and as a Mission Hills sundry store owner.
In 1951, he decided to open a restaurant in this circa 1918 building with the simple idea of offering quality steaks and real Roquefort salad dressing to his customers.
Today we proudly continue the traditional Saska techniques of preparing aged beef and quality seafood. Enjoy Saska’s Steak & Seafood in Mission Beach, where you can come and get sand on your feet.
