Scott assisted me with refinancing my home, a smooth process which lasted just over one month. He was incredibly professional and kept me apprised of what was happening with rates and the loan. Scott is fantastic! I had been trying to re-​fi to take advantage of lower rates and had been working with another service provider, but was concerned about some of the specifics of the loan she was recommending.
Scott took the time to walk through the different loan options in great detail to make sure we selected the loan package which was right for me. He was able to secure a lower interest rate, higher appraisal and lower closing costs — and generously contributed part of his commission to a charitable fund to help a mutual friend.
After the loan was complete, he made sure to take the time to walk me through the final package so I have a full understanding of the components and commitments. I’ll hopefully be moving onward and upward into a larger property soon, and will definitely use Scott for the financing portion. Thank you Scott!

So working with Scott was absolutely the best thing I could have done in my search for a home. A mutual friend referred him to me, and from the start Scott showed the level of attention and competence that truly sets him apart from others. I used Scott initially as my Realtor, and after encountering difficulties with my bank/​lender Scott stepped up the plate and served as my loan officer. We kicked off with a face-​to-​face meeting and Scott explained the dynamics of the current market, and we talked about the entire buying process, from the search to the end, and then we go into what I was looking for and what areas and prices I was looking at. As a first time home buyer, Scott’s expert knowledge was extremely helpful, not only in my search, but in having confidence and maintaining a certain comfort level in a process that can be confusing and stressful. With Scott’s custom search engine doing all the work, I was able to simply browse the results in my own time, and then contact him about viewing potential contenders. Over the 10 – 11 month process and after several tries and making adjustments to the search and home requirements, we were finally able to strike gold and found a condo that fit the bill. After the contract was signed Scott’s true expertise began to show, as he was Johnny-​on-​the-​spot with every document and disclosure and worked to make sure there were open lines of communication with all parties, which became crucial as little difficulties popped up that could have derailed the whole effort had it not been for Scott’s heads up handling and taking care of the situation.
Working with Scott I could see that he truly understands the financial aspects of the home buying/​lending process, and he worked with me to improve my financial standing and get a better rate than I could have done on my own, and taught me a few things along the way. I felt confident having such an expert on my side, who took the time to explain the process and answer any questions that arose.

Scott was my real estate agent for about 2 & ½ years as I perused the market looking for the perfect condo to call home. Throughout the long search, Scott was very flexible and patient. He was willing to look as frequently or infrequently as I felt necessary each particular week. He also answered all of my first time buyer’s questions and thoroughly explained the process so I was educated and comfortable with every step along the way.
A lot of the properties in my price range needed some minor improvements to bring them up to my satisfaction. Since I was strapped for time, Scott volunteered to get estimates on replacing carpet/​hardwood, appliances, etc., so I was fully aware of the financial impact to my budget. He even researched how to get rid of cigarette smoke for one of the properties I was potentially interested in.
When I finally find my place, Scott went above and beyond to make sure we closed the deal. Always having his client’s best interest in mind, Scott sacrificed part of his commission to ensure I was adequately positioned to close! We had a short window with a strict deadline to successfully close escrow, and Scott pulled it off without a hitch. He even drove from SD up to LA to make sure the down payment check got to the bank on schedule.
It was awesome having one point of contact for both my real estate and mortgage questions/​concerns. He took care of it all and also did all the extra little things that end up making a huge difference! Thanks to Scott I am now a very happy homeowner.

Scott provided me a service I was really happy to pay for, even though he wasn’t involved in the search for the condo I ended up purchasing.
After renting a condo for several years, the late owner’s children wanted to sell directly to me, with no realtor involved. I wasn’t comfortable not having someone deal with the group, so I hired Scott to assist me with all the preparations, legal documents, due dilligence, negotiations /​terms, etc. He gave me great advice, guidance and worked very hard on the mountains of paperwork involved with the purchase of a condo. He helped me with purchase negotiation strategy to save tens of thousands of dollars on my condo!
Because Scott is also involved with mortgage financing, he got me a great deal on my loan, and helped with meeting the short turn around on deadlines involved with that respective paperwork. When I ran into questions, he was very responsive and knowledgeable with the right answers.
Scott’s best quality was his thoroughness. He left no stones unturned to be sure there were no surprises or setbacks in the process. Things went smooth and I was able to close within the allotted time.
