There’s a decent variety of food, but not many healthy choices. Most food costs between $ 5 and $ 10. A LOT of people come here around 12 and 1, it’s mayhem. If you can grab something to go earlier, or wait until later in the afternoon, there’s not too many people. Lots of tables indoors and outdoors. Overall, lots of fast food and few healthy options, but plenty of seating. Try and avoid the rush if you can.

The best thing about this place are Daphne’s Fries… they’re DELICIOUS! I miss those fries… It’s always crowded around lunch time, obviously, but it’s good that it’s close to the library, so if you get hungry during your study session, you can grab something quick. I also really like the chicken place(not sure if it’s still there, it changed a few times). Another good thing was picking up something quick from the Aztec Market in between classes, ESPECIALLY those milkshakes on a hot day *droooool* they’re so good! Only problem is sometimes the line doesn’t move fast enough.

All of the food options at East Commons are fairly decent. The worst part about it is how crowded it gets during the lunch rush. You can expect to circle tables for ten minutes with your food in hand before you find somebody who is leaving. The Salad Bistro they have will never compare to the Salad Sensations they removed when building the new student center.

Always clean, but woeful wifi. Better places on campus to sit and eat. You will, however, definitely see someone you know at some point(wanted or not).

Its MEH at best. There’s a Rubios, Daphnee’s, a Subway knockoff, Juice It Up, Panda Express, a salad bar, Starbucks, and a pizza place. The prices are high in my opinion. There used to be a lot of $ 5 meals but unfortunately they don’t have those anymore. I thought the best deal was the pizza place with the $ 6 pasta but the last time I went there the quality was awful. The pasta was cold, the sauce was watery as hell, and the fact that they barely put in any meat or vegetables was so stupid. After that experience I will not buy any more pasta bowls from that place. Their pizza was whatever and so was their salad. The franchises are just like any other franchise so I’m not going to comment on those. During noon this place is PACKED! It is hard to find a seat here so if I were you I would get everything to go and just find another place on campus to eat it. This food court is mediocre at best. If you want to save money on your meal then just go to Jack in the Box or the thai place near the dorms and KB Books.

Not much to expect from a college eatery! There’s Starbucks, Panda Express, Rubios, Juice It Up. It’s always packed, but lines go by pretty quickly. There’s a microwave in the dining area, but it’s usually occupied. If you’re looking to heat up your food, stop by the Aztec Market next door.

East Commons is the largest of the three food courts on campus, and that’s not saying very much at all. There are only a few restaurants to choose from, and even fewer that I actually eat at. There’s a Rubio’s, a Sub Connection(that I still have never tried), a Panda Express, a salad bar, an Italian kind of place and a Daphne’s Greek Café that used to be The Burger Place that used to be a McDonalds. My freshman year, East Commons was THE spot. This is where everyone spent all their breaks between classes, whether one, two, or three hours. You were bound to see someone you knew whenever you came here. Also the spot to meet friends before making the trek across campus to Storm Hall for RWS or across the way to GMCS for stats. These days, I don’t go to East Commons nearly as much as I used to. I’ll start coming back when they change the Sub Connection into a bar.
