I interviewed three pool companies and selected Seascape Pool because they seemed to understand my needs and wants better than the others. Was I ever happy I did! I have worked with many contractors in the San Diego area and I can’t say enough good things about my experience with this company. They are honest, have an incredible work ethic, and provide a quality product that I would imagine is hard to beat at any price! They totally exceeded my expectations; there were no hidden costs, they provided top of the line equipment, and followed their schedule to the end! I totally enjoy my new pool and I would highly recommend Seascape Pools to anyone who wants to build a new, quality pool!

Amazing!!! We just completed our Seascape pool and spa. It is gorgeous! The process was very smooth and it was really fun to watch the project unfold. The technical elements of the design of the pool were exactly what we wanted. It also turned out more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. John is also an exceptionally honest and hard working contractor who is very upfront about everything. He takes care of the entire job PERSONALLY from the initial meeting, to the design and permits, all the way through construction. He even has someone come out to help you start up your pool and equipment. I cannot recommend Seascape and John highly enough. We love our new pool!!!

Hands down the best company I have ever encountered. As an attorney who handles construction defect cases for over twenty years, I have seen it all and am skeptical by nature. I interviewed the top 4 pool builders in San Diego, all of which were excellent and had incredibly good Unilocal and web reviews. All four of them were top notch and you could not go wrong with any of them. However, John and seascape pools stood out on top due to his personality, easy going nature and honesty. He gave me options that I never considered, came up with ways to save me money and is genuinely a very nice, caring person who obviously cares a lot about his craft, reputation and integrity. His is a multi year family owned business and it shows. He personally, not a lower level staff, was always the one to interact with us. He returned emails, texts and calls very quickly and came out for last minute meetings late at night and on weekends to accommodate my schedule. He always kept me well informed, his price was competitive with the others and schedule on time. He also uses and refers you to other companies that are equally top notch such as Lauren for landscaping and a tile company — all incredible companies in their own right. Our pool experience has been incredibly positive with nothing negative and our finished product exceeds our expectations. Words don’t exist to fully describe the positive experience we have with this company and our pool is almost done. i will refer everybody I know to this company — you can’t go wrong with them and I guarantee you will love the experience.

We started our backyard process about 3 years ago and looked at about 5 different pool companies before choosing Seascape. We loved that John, as the owner, was the one that always came out to our house and who we interfaced with each time. He was clearly very knowledgeable and also very engaging and friendly. We could not have asked for a BETTER experience! John and his staff were super helpful, always responsive to our needs and provided a great balance of inserting their expertise, but allowing us to choose according to our personal style. We were traveling a lot during the construction and it was nice to know that John was in complete control and executing everything according to what he told us and also what we wanted. His pricing was extremely reasonable — he’s very straight-​forward and clear about everything. We LOVE the finished product and would recommend Seascape to anyone considering putting in a pool. They are fantastic!

In searching for a company to install a pool and spa in our backyard we consulted a number of companies. Initially we were pleased with the experience of dealing with Seascape Pools. We did have to wait a few weeks for John to come out to our house for a consultation but for the right person we were willing to wait. His office staff was courteous and he was punctual. We liked him immediately when we met with him in May. However, after that things went SOUTH. John informed us he was busy and would take 2 weeks to get back to us with a proposal. No problem. After 3 weeks of not hearing from him I called the office. I spoke with John who informed me he was very busy but that he was working on it and would have a proposal for us in 2 weeks. 3 more weeks went by and I again called his office. No response. A few more weeks, I called again. Again, no response. To date, there still has been no response. When we met with John he was very proud of his 5 star rating on Unilocal.At this point, I no longer think he deserves it.

After receiving several quotes for our pool/​spa, we ended up going with Seascape Pools for numerous reasons. John is honest, personable, and really listens to what you want. He does not try to up-​sell anything, and lets you know when things could be added later-​on to reduce upfront costs. Everything went very smoothly, communication was outstanding, and he only works with the best sub-​contractors. I am glad we went with our gut instincts and reviews from Unilocal.We recommend Seascape Pools to everyone that is looking to build a pool. We now have a beautiful pool to enjoy this summer and for many years to come!

I looked at a couple of pool companies and added Seascape as my next door neighbor used them for their pool. Best decision I ever made! John came out and I could tell right away that he was a trustworthy guy. I make many business decisions based on my gut feeling and it usually works out good for me. I warned John up front that I will probably make changes to my plans during the process and he said he would be happy to roll with the punches.
I did, in fact, make last minute design choices and John immediately sent me change orders so we both knew exactly what the cost difference would be… hence, no surprises at any point during the process. I have already recommended John to a few of my friends and would be happy to show off what John (and Loren at Wolverton Landscaping) created in my backyard. It’s like a resort now. As an FYI, I have a free form lagoon style pool, over-​sized spa, lots of natural stone and a black Luna Quartz bottom with LED lights and a Baja shelf for the kids to play on.

John is a great guy and was awesome to work with. No matter how many times I called, e-​mailed or texted, he was always available to answer my questions. Every one of his subcontractors did an amazing job. Every aspect of the project ran smoothly — so smoothly in fact, our pool was completed 23 days ahead of schedule. We were very impressed!
John also offered recommendations for our tree removal and pool deck. After doing our own research — we ended up going with his recommendations. The prices of his recommended contractors were the best of anyone else we met with.
We could not be happier with our choice to hire Seascape Pools to build our pool. You should hire them too — you will not be disappointed!

I found Seascape Pools through personal recommendations (the best source). The results are magnificent!!! Every possible contingency was anticipated and planned for. The building process went smoothly and I now have my perfect pool! I have received countless compliments on it. The quality, the beauty, and the value are outstanding. Additionally, the clean-​up afterward was prompt and thorough!

John and his crew at Seascape Pools completed our pool a few years ago and we have been enjoying it since. He worked with us to find something we liked and within our budget. They completed the project on time and worked with our landscaper to coordinate timelines. And more importantly he continues to answer my many questions and fixes any issues we find even a few years later. John at Seascape built our pool back in 1996, and everything still looks and works great. They are honest and have integrity in a business where it’s sometimes hard to know who’s being straight with you. Occasionally I have a question about something and it’s nice to be able to talk with the original contractor, even after all the time that’s passed. I’ve recommended Seascape many times over the years.
