Our criminal defense attorney is Michael J. Runkle and he is very good at what he does. He genuinely cares about each and everyone of his clients by going out of his way to ensure that he achieves the best possible results. Michael has experience from DUIs to major felonies. Michael also take ticket cases.

Our bankruptcy attorney is Fanny Cherng. She has been practicing bankruptcy law since 2011 and has filed hundreds if not thousands of cases in San Diego, Riverside, and Imperial County. She is detailed oriented which helps make the difficult process of bankruptcy go more smoothly for her clients. Fanny will work with the client throughout the entire process to ensure everything goes right the first time. Fanny can also assist you with debt negotiations if bankruptcy is not a viable option for you.

Fanny and Michael work on the personal injury cases together. Fanny works up the case, while Michael litigates it. They are both well versed in the personal injury process and they do everything they can to get you the most recovery possible.

Meet the Business Owner

Michael R.

Business Owner

Michael Runkle was born in Durham, North Carolina on February 18, 1983. Growing up he was a wrestler in high school where he won two Greco-​Roman state championships and one freestyle state championship. It was there he learned the value of hard work and dedication. Michael went on to play rugby for the University of North Carolina at Wilmington for 5 years where he also played on the North Carolina collegiate all star team for two of those years.

He graduated from UNCW with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy with an emphasis in metaphysics and logic. Michael then went to Thomas Jefferson School of Law and graduated in 2009. In his studies at Thomas Jefferson, he received two Jefferson Medal awards for academic excellence in trial practice and global workplace law.

Michael has worked in the legal industry since 2007 and has extensive experience in Trial practice, criminal defense, DUI, Personal injury and negligence cases.
