What a wonderful experience! Booking was a breeze. Immediately after making a reservation, we got emails with everything we needed to know. Literally every question answered! We’ve done two of these types of cruises in San Diego and shared dreams was far superior. We loved BYOB and the four great places to hang out on the boat — the front for the sunset, with the captain to hear about San Diego, in the back for when we wanted a few of the provided snacks, and down below for when I was a little chilly.
They also provide water and cute captain hats for photos. Debbie also made a point to take photos of everyone and send us photos — a huge plus because my fiancé and I always forget to take them!
Book with them! You won’t regret it — views were stunning.

Spent a lovely 90 minutes on board the Shared Dream Sunset Cruise. Owners are great. Other people on board were very nice.

Beginning to end this was the greatest yacht cruise ever!
Scheduling was a breeze. The emails beforehand were incredibly informative and helpful. They provide a very comfortable and fun environment. There can be special attention given for birthdays or anniversaries, you have a choice hats to goof around in, and light snacks to munch on. An unforgettable adventure! Can’t wait to do it again!

Brian and Debby were were great. Perfect hosts. Highly recommend them next time you want to cruise the harbor. It’s the only way to do it!

My parents were in town visiting and I thought this would be a nice thing to do since they don’t like to walk around too much. I found out from about this company through living social. I’m very skeptical when I see a 5 star average rating with less than 20 total reviews so I walked into this with my guard up. Then there was a small mix-​up and our reservation had to be rescheduled. I think a true testament of a business is how they react when things don’t go perfectly and I was very impressed by Debby & Shared Dreams. She quickly fixed the issue.
Scheduling the cruise was easy, Debby’s emails were very informative on when to be where, and she couldn’t of been more friendly and welcoming once we got to meet face to face. The Captain (Debby’s husband) took care of steering the ship and was nice enough to answer any questions that came up during the cruise.
We chose the 90 minute sunset cruise which was nice because we got to be out on the water while it’s light out, then see the sun set, and then see the skyline lit-​up. It does get a little chilly so bring something to throw over. (if you forget, there’s blankets to keep you warm)
My parents had an awesome time and the cruise was worth every penny. I plan to use them the next time we have out of town guest! Highly recommended!

It was a great experience for a sweet afternoon cruise. The hosts were kind and welcoming. I appreciated the intro and safety instruction as well as the email on preparation. Debby was very informative and her husband, The Captain, was educating the other guests about the bay. All around a huge thumbs up!

We had the best private sunset cruise with Debby and Brian. They were extremely friendly and made us feel really at home. My friends 30^th birthday was a success with the sunset cruise. I would recommend it to everyone going to SD.

A hidden gem of a business when you want your own personal boat cruise in downtown San Diego bay!
There are larger rental companies and many ways to get on the water in San Diego, but Debby and Brian’s yacht charter Shared Dreams really provides a very personalized, private experience (with extras!), as I got to enjoy it this past weekend cruising the bay from Shelter Island to Point Loma, across downtown San Diego and under the Coronado Bridge.
I spotted the company through a daily deal company and snagged it for a great price for a yacht cruise for up to 6 people. I loved that the boat was all to ourselves, and we had our own captain (Brian) to drive the vessel while we enjoyed the cruise. Having previously rented boats where you need to know how to operate it, I realize that if you want just a fun, safe, relaxing time you need one with a licensed driver.
Debby, the co-​owner, greeted us at the dock for our 12pm Saturday cruise and escorted us to the yacht. She was friendly and stayed on board with us during our 2-​hour cruise in case we ever needed anything, including taking photos of us! It was great to have her around while still having our own privacy as there are multiple areas you can hang in the boat. There’s an enclosed living room area inside, as well as the front of the boat, which we found to be the best place to enjoy the cruise and perfectly fit the 5 of us!
The bathroom was really nice and nearly identical to what you would find in your own home. The only difference was that you would not flush toilet paper in the toilet.
Debby and Brian went above and beyond just a basic boat cruise by providing a cozy experience with fun extras! In the «living room,» we were provided snacks (chocolate covered strawberries, cheese, crackers, etc), plates, plastic wine/​champagne glasses, as well as scarves and cute nautical hats to wear during the cruise! We were allowed to bring our own drinks (glass bottles OK) and food too.
It was easy to book with Debby on the phone, and there was a lot of available times when I called a few weeks in advance. I was told some people wait until the last minute, but you’re best off trying to book ahead if possible. I received e-​mail confirmations and reminders with detailed instructions and directions, making the whole process easy. After the cruise, Debby e-​mailed me photos from our cruise.

What a great experience! We did a sunset cruise for my friends birthday and we were not disappointed in the slightest! The boat is beautiful, classy and a smooth ride. We went all through the harbor, saw seals, and had a beautiful evening! Debbie was not only incredibly accommodating, but she and her husband (the captain!) were so sweet and excellent hosts. I had surprised my partner with a sunset birthday cruise of the SD harbor on 12÷27÷14. I had purchased a groupon so the deal was even sweeter! The cruise couldn’t have been more perfect on a clear day and slight breeze. I warned everyone to bring jackets and beanies. We took lots of pics and took turns reenacting the Titanic «I’m king of the world» scene. Thank you Debby for putting up the birthday sign and supplying all the yummy snacks & providing wine glasses & even blankets. We all had a memorable & great time! Now, just what to do next year to trump this?

Hubby asked me to find us a boat ride so after a little research I called Shared Dreams and spoke to Debby. She was very helpful fitting us in on short notice and even though it was mostly overcast, the company, conversation and exceptional service was over the top! The only thing missing was the sun ;) It was just what we wanted and we are already planning our next trip.
Look no further, get off the couch and go enjoy San Diego From the water, beautiful!

It was awesome! beautiful boat with plenty of room to roam. You could sit up front, up with Captain Brian, or in the back in cushy couches. Debby and Brian were very friendly and knowledgeable. thanks Debby and Brian!

Wow!!! What a great trip. I received a gift voucher for my girlfriend and I to take a cruise with Shared Dreams. We booked a sunset cruise and sailed off a few evenings later. Both Sarah and I were not expecting much but our expectations were quickly exceeded. The husband and wife team Debby and Brian (Host/​Captain) were so accommodating and made sure to point out all of the sites during the 3.5 hour trip. There wasn’t a sunset due to an evening of heavy San Diego fog but that just added to the ambiance. Sarah and I spent a number of hours chatting up top with Debby and Brian. They both provided a large spread of snacks and kept the wine flowing, which I didn’t know they provided. Needless to say Sarah and I were both a bit «happy» upon returning to the docks.
All in all, we had a wonderful time and the cruise was a great way to spend a few hours relaxing, while taking in the San Diego sites. Note: I live in San Diego and still appreciated the knowledge of the city that Debby and Brian shared with us. I will definitely be booking again when family and friends come to visit.
Just make sure to bring plenty of warm clothing, Debby provides a number of blankets, jackets, gloves, and hats but it does get chilly on the water, especially when the sun goes down. You can sit in the enclosed cabin where it is warm but then you lose out on all of the great sites.

Shared Dreams provided a Dream Trip for a Sunset Birthday Cruise on 11/​23/​2013. It was a spectacular evening with a superb sunset, great company, snacks, and a really relaxing 3 hour tour of the entire San Diego Bay.
Brian and Debby are perfect hosts, sharing and making us feel right at home (Dang, don’t I WISH! lol) They provided lots of snacks, good conversation and even some history tidbits as we cruised around.
I will certainly return and spread this around to all of my friends. Thanks So Much!

We had an amazing time on Shared Dreams. The hosts (Debby and Brian) were great — they provided light snacks and refreshments (we also brought lots more of our own), were more than willing to take group photos, and were very warm and welcoming. The boat itself was very comfortable for 6 of us. We saw a beautiful sunset in San Diego bay and gorgeous views of the city and Coronado Bridge. I would highly recommend this yacht trip to anyone!

Debby and Brian were great! The boat was perfect for a 3 – 4 hour tour around San Diego Bay. We brought a cooler of food and drinks, but they already had a nice spread for us too.
Super relaxing. Just what we needed to finish the week!

My family and I had an awesome time on Shared Dreams Charter. We went throughout the San Diego bay and got to see some really cool sea life. We saw several sea lions and several pelicans. The host’s were very friendly and pointed out some of the places and attractions that Sand Diego has to offer and There were some excellent refreshments offered to us. We had a really fun time, I would highly recommend this Charter.
